I came in for a touch up recently and I came in with my own numbing cream. I wanted to wash my face and she insisted that she would wipe the numbing cream with witch hazel and small cotton rounds, which I knew was not sufficient enough to clean the skin. Due to the air, not being clean off, which I knew made me nervous, I noticed through the mirror when I would look at her doing the Electrolysis that her gloves had numbing cream all over them. At this point, I was getting really nervous that the air was not clean enough, but she kept insisting and wiping with witch hazel saying it's clean it's clean it's clean. She mentioned to me that she got a new machine that's very good but it didn't feel any different than the last time I got it done years ago. I came in to just do specific areas and then she proceeded to do my upper lip as well which I really didn't care about but she insisted since I was there so I wouldn't have to come back. The next morning I woke up and I had a lot of swelling and redness, which I figured was normal. I always normally had about three days of downtime and then like the scabs would kind of go away after a week. It has now been full two weeks since I got my treatment done, and my skin is completely scarred. There is post inflammatory, redness, scarring, pigmentation, and indented holes from her probe in my skin. I out reached out to her regarding my concerns and how upset and sad I was and requested a refund and she has completely stopped answering me. She gaslighted me telling me that my skin is sensitive and that it will go away, but I know for sure that it will not go away on its own as I am an aesthetic nurse practitioner and look at other people's skin all day for a living as well. and I know exactly what I'm looking at when I'm looking at my skin. I had to seek further help from a derm MD and was put on antibiotics for one week and a topical antibiotic as well to help any bacteria subside. On top of that I know that I'm going to have to have multiple laser treatments, chemical peels , and micro needling treatments to heal this redness and scarring from my skin. I will show you a picture of what my skin look like prior to the session and I will show you what my skin looks like now. Please use caution when booking treatments with her or do not book at all.
