She has amazing experience and unfortunately laser hasn't worked for me so I requested the Electrolysis. Anna's gonna see if my wheelchair is height and configuration can work for her but I still highly recommend her from the research I've done she's very skilled. So if you have unwanted hair and you've tried everything and you still have them then give Anna a call or a message. I have seen 4 electrologists over the years and Anna is truly the best at what she does. She has always been welcoming and easy going. She is also prompt and very efficient with covering lots of areas in a short amount of time. Scheduling appointments has been easy since she can text from her business phone number (the one on Yelp). If you text and she doesn't reply right away just be patient since she may be with a client. She also sees what work needs to be done so I don't have to spend the first few minutes trying to point out areas to her. She covered so much today, more than I thought she would be able to in the 30 minutes that I scheduled with her. When she was done I wanted to make another appointment but I wasn't sure for when. She suggested that I just text her when I'm ready since it takes a while for any hair to come back. I have had so many issues with laser on my face-- I was doing laser for years and no one told me that laser actually sometimes does the opposite effect where it stimulates hair growth, especially areas like the face. I noticed that I started having hair on areas of my face that I didn't have before and are unusual like under the eyes, chin, and even front neck. Let me start by saying I tried electrolysis with someone else 4-5 years ago. I was left TRAUMATIZED. I continued to laser my face instead and while laser gets great results in some areas, I wasn't happy with the hair that was still left on my face. I just hate hair! Lol. After a good friend kept raving about a new electrolysis girl she was seeing, Anna, I decided to give it another go. I was extremely happy that I didn't let my past experience stop me! She is always busy and you must book your appointment in advance, but she is WORTH THE WAIT!!! Anna is AMAZING. I drive 15ish minutes to visit her and am so happy I found her. Her room is a great size, always clean and she's very friendly. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a lot of experience, which shows in her work. She has a steady hand, is fast and makes the process almost painless! I have now had about 7 sessions and can't even begin to explain the difference in my face. ELECTROLYSIS WORKS! Keep up with it and the results are PERMANENT. Most of the hairs I initially came in for don't grow back anymore (hallelujah!!!!! hair be GONE!), but there a few stubborn ones that need a few more zaps before they die forever. I personally had a horrible experience to the point where I was crying. Full disclosure I wasn't working Anna but with Marine. In my research there's supposed to be no pain when the hair gets pulled, but honestly she was like tugging at so many hairs I had to cut the session from 30 minutes to 15. She said it was because the hairs were thick...but again all my research stated if the follicle is dead it shouldn't feel like full on tweezing which is what it did. Like multiple wasp stings followed by tweezing. Add insult to injury she charged me for the full $55 as if she had done 30 minutes even though they have lower pricing for a 15 minute session. She is amazing. Not only is she efficient and quick (!), she is also honest. She didn't waste ANY time from the moment I stepped into her office and left. I did my underarms and only managed to finish one (I had more hair than I expected- not her fault at all), but as soon as she was done with one underarm she went straight to the next and did as much as she could. I think I have been going here for about a year now and I absolutely love the electrolysis work done by Anna. My first time going I was very shy, I walked in and showed her the area I want to work on and she took the wheel. She goes straight in and the results are AmAzing! I felt comfortable, the area is nice and Anna is a sweetheart. My face is glowing 2-3 days after the treatment! I dont know if its because she works fast but my face heals nicely. I am definitely a customer for life unless.... god forbid I move to far lol. Some advice is if you are working on the upper lip numb the area 30 min before (just get some numbing cream from amazon and put before your session). Update. I went for a second appointment with Anna today and noticed that she wasn't wearing a mask (my other eletrolycian in Beverly Hills has worn a mask for years simply out of professionalism and comfort when that close to someone's face). I asked her if she was vaccinated; she scoffed and said no. I asked her to put on a mask and she did, but wore it below her nose. Not only is Anna choosing to take unnecessary risks to your health, she is violating state masks mandates. Furthermore, she works in a medical office that PROVIDES COVID TESTING! CORRECT - people who may have symptoms GO TO THIS PLACE FOR A TEST. This was the most disgusting display of irresponsibility I have ever seen. Apparently Anna thinks 60 hours of electrolysis training at a strip mall "university" gives her better judgement than people who devote their lives to the medical field, LOL. As someone with relatives and a fiancé who could be considered immunocompromised and a grandmother who died from COVID in January, I am disgusted. read more

I've been coming to Anna since October for electrolysis on my chin, lower lip and sideburns. I can't say how blessed and lucky to have found Anna. I've been waxing, threading, shaving and tweezing my chin hairs for 10 years so my hairs were growing every day and thick. My confidence in myself affected and I knew I needed to figure out a way to get rid of the hairs because carrying a tweezer with you everywhere is not ideal. I did research about laser hair removal and stumbled into electrolysis. I did my research and reached out to a few electrolysis professionals and Anna responded to me fast with a price range, questions about my hair growth, and the process. I met with her in person for a consultation and I recommend you should do that with not just Anna but any profession and ask for second opinions. Anna was very professional, sweet and she showed me her process, the needles and was very honest with me about the pain. What really made me decide on Anna was her honesty when I finally removed my makeup and allowed her to see the ingrown and dark spots from years of tweezing. If this is your first time doing electrolysis, the hardest part (This was super hard for me) was letting the hair grow long enough an evenly so that Anna can see all the hairs all at once. This was a shock for me when she first told me that and I felt maybe I made the wrong choice because I couldn't put myself in letting the hairs grow and have it visible at work or public. I felt anxious and felt I couldn't do it but Anna told me that every woman has hair and reassuring me if I stayed consistent with my appointments and not touching the hair, i will see change. I decided to take the plunge and haven't looked back. Over the couple of months, my ingrown hair has been half the thickness already. There were times where I plucked or shaved (Anna knows...she see's it!) but now, I let the hairs grow. The hardest part would be letting the hair grow and embrace it. It can make you feel so insecure and paranoid but once you get past that and see changes, you'll definitely feel a lot more confident in yourself. As for pain level, my first time was a lot of pain and you will feel it. My pain tolerance is very low so I would recommend to use a numbing cream or ask Anna. I noticed long breaths and drinking water helps a lot as well. Depending on the hair thickness, the first couple of sessions were about an 45 mins to 1 hr long. My sessions now are 30 mins and the hair eventually pulls out which means the hair is dying. read more

I found her on yelps highest rated electrologist in the area I was looking for and she's only changed my life and confidence to better! I went to Anna after I got stimulated hair growth on my face in areas I never had hair, and Anna walked me through the process and explained everything detail by detail, we started with 1 hour treatments in the beginning and now 1 year later, I only make 15-30 min appointments once a month because of how cleared up my face is. I am truly so thankful, I can never say it enough. She is super sweet, always on time with appointments, and everything is always very clean and she follows the COVID protocols for the safety of her clients and herself. Anna is a LICENSED board certified Electrologist and it's not that easy to work in this field, taking a 600 hour course in a professional school in order to perform this in any practice. (which she also pursued me into going into aswell, so thankful!) People need to educate themselves before speaking about the professionalism and amount of education you get working in this field, it isn't a passed out degree. ....I AM IN LOVE WITH ANNA!. lol no seriously, she is such a sweet and professional person. Sometimes you meet people that they do the job well, but their attitude/tone kind of pisses you off, or you meet someone that has an amazing personality but they don't do the job that well. This is one person that has both. The job she does is clean, sterile, and with amazing results. When I was younger I had gone to electrolysis but I don't know if the people didn't know what they were doing or didn't do a clean job, my lip was all puffed up and looked like I had gotten bad lip injection. Anyways it was infected and took over a month for the swelling to go down and my upper lip to heal. Since than I was scarred and wouldn't even consider electrolysis ever, especially with laser hair removal being so popular. WELLL... what happened was, I got great results from laser on areas like my legs, and arms but for my face laser hair removal actually caused more damage than good. I ended up getting more hair growth, because it activated dormant/sleeping hair, and my blondes got darker. Long story short, I looked like I was on some male hormones, that's how bad my face and neck area had gotten from laser. ANNA is a life saver! she removed allll that hair from my face and neck area, I am seriously so thankful and grateful because your face is such a noticeable area and it can make you feel insecure. I wasn't going to go, but another client of hers referred her to me and swore she was great, so I prayed and I was like okayyyy lets give this another shot and I am so happy that I did. Summary: I LOVE ANNA! PROFESSIONAL and sweet and beautiful. GO TO HER for permanent hair removal on areas like your face (and other areas as well).
