Electroyogi Electrolysis is the most wonderful place to go for electrolysis. Nicole, it's founder, is a brilliant electrologist. She is warm, kind and highly professional. The studio is fantastic--colorful and filled with art and light. It's the complete opposite of a chilly hair removal clinic, which can feel so uncomfortable, particularly during a process like electrolysis. I have been an Electroyogi client for six years. My face is virtually hair free now, but whenever I go back for a touch up, it's always a pleasure! read more

Nicole and her team are the absolute BEST!!! I have been seeing Nicole for a couple years now after coming out as trans and working to get rid of my facial hair. She is honestly one of the sweetest, smartest, and most wonderful people you will meet. Intensely accepting of people from all walks of life, and genuinely concerned with helping you feel better about yourself! I cannot recommend Nicole and ElectroYogi enough! read more

I've seen a few folks at ElectroYogi and they're all stellar. Nicole is warm, kind and fun, and makes what could be an unpleasant experience very light and pleasant! She goes above and beyond for her customers and truly cares, and I feel very safe and trusting of her skills - she really knows what she's doing. I feel the same about Jahnia. Highly recommend!! read more

I couldn't even get an appt or call back. I've sent a yelp request email and called. It's like my next way to communicate is by sending a raven with a note. It's sad. If you're busy say you aren't taking any new appts. Response: So she sent me a message and i ignored her. Because of her daughter being sick i was just going to delete my review.. sh!t happens right? But then, you send me private message basically giving me excuses honestly you just didn't have to give me and comment the next day about a timeline you make up? Anyway, She's booked until April. And that's fine... Her response was "i don't have a receptionist" with your successful business (clearly it is) shouldn't you have one? This place has a google number... so there's another fun hoop. I emailed her before calling because those are there specific instructions. But you know what the best way to get a response is? Leaving her a review on here. Communicating with this place is like dealing with a teenager. Tip: stop being cheap, you already run your business out of house (per other negative reviews you hide), and hire someone read more

ElectroYogi Electrolysis - Hair Removal Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I hate doing this but I have never come across such a poorly run business model. I spent time filling out a new client form, uploading personal photos and documents, emailing for more info and an appointment. No one has ever responded or contacted me back. That's great you are busy, but no functioning, professional business should be this unprofessional. Hire someone a day or two a week to get back to people, if you're that busy. I feel like you are saying to people their time is not as valuable as yours and going through all the effort to be a client is futile. read more

I have been seeing Jahnia at ElectroYogi Electrolysis for several months for my bikini line. I'd never done electrolysis before and wasn't thrilled about looking at a lifetime of waxing. I found ElectroYogi through google searches. If you haven't heard back from Nicole yet, keep at it! It's worth it. Jahnia, like Nicole, is extremely good at what she does and is also an exceptional human. I am so happy that I found Jahnia and that I have been persistent at coming back week after week. It's the part of the week I really look forward to and the results are so, so good. read more

Nicole is my hero! I was experiencing idopathic hirsutism and after just one session I noticed a world of difference! The hairs didn't start growing back for a whole month. I've seen her about six times now and I barely have any return of hair growth. Nicole's studio is incredibly comfortable, homey, colorful, and clean. She is full of positive energy and encouragement. Only once did I experience a small breakout in the treated area, and post-treatment breakouts are NORMAL and to be expected. In fact, it is only because of her detail-oriented treatment and aftercare that I usually don't experience breakouts in the treated areas. Nicole is by far the best electrolysis artist in Southern California. I'm so grateful I found her! read more

I started getting electrolysis done about 9 years ago while living in New York. When I moved to Los Angeles last year, I knew I wanted to get back in a rhythm in order to finish what I started. Finding ElectroYogi was such a huge relief. I won't ever go anywhere else. It's such a warm, positive and welcoming environment. Seeing Nicole this week, I experienced the least amount of discomfort I've ever had while tackling the most amount of hair in one sitting. Even amidst this pandemic, I felt safe, supported and cared for. I walked out of there with little to no redness or irritation, and now 24 hours later, you wouldn't even know I had follicles all over my body zapped. If you are feeling insecure or frustrated by your body hair situation, go here. You won't regret it. These ladies are wonderful. Wish I could include the emoji face with all the hearts floating around it. read more

Can't express enough how grateful I am to ElectroYogi and their entire team. I've had treatments from Vanessa, Ronna and Erin and always feel cared for and understood when I visit. Hair removal is a delicate matter that can bring up lots of emotions (or am I just crazy sensitive??) and these women not only have the delicate touch, they have the skills to get those stupid hairs out for good! The facility is clean, modern and cozy. There's always a lovely relaxing vibe in the air. Each staff member has a unique personality and they're all super fun to chat with. AND THE HAIRS ARE GONE. Also you may spot a kitty sunbathing in the drive way, which is always delightful. read more

What a great environment. Erin is a really caring and talented electroyogi, knowledgable on all the latest techniques. I feel comfortable talking about my hair journey, and this is such a relaxing and creative environment that Nicole has created. If you come here, you're supporting an independent business owner who has clearly put a lot of love and a lot of time building a vibrant business with skilled and talented employees. As for the results? My hair is starting to thin in certain places, but I'm early on my journey. You gotta be patient and in this for the long haul, if you're taking on a densely-grown in area. I feel that Erin has done a great job maintaining the integrity of my skin throughout the process, making sure to re-assess my skin's reaction throughout the session and modify as needed. I really appreciate that, as Im tackling my face (hirsutism) and Id rather have healthy, happy skin than have my face blasted with electrolysis for some "production numbers" hair removal game. I feel I can go to work the next day, and be ok! Excited to see where we go together on this hair journey! read more

Fabulous!! Would love to give 10 Stars! Truly the best place for electrolysis. I've been to several in LA County. So glad to have finally found ElectroYogi -- won't go anywhere else. I've had the pleasure of working with 3 of the 4 electrologists here (Nicole, Vanessa and Erin). Wonderful, vibrant people and setting. All the latest equipment, years of experience, knowledge and skill. I've been working with Nicole the most, the whole experience has been terrific and the results amazing!! My Italian background left me with more hair than anyone would ever want, Nicole has permanently resolved that problem! Couldn't be happier. :) read more

Never again will I attempt electrolysis nor recommend it. I threw down so much cash at this place. I dealt with the pain fine, the stylish little casa was fun, and Nicole was very enjoyable. I was a good little customer consistently returning for treatments. But after months of ongoing treatment, my hair was not showing progress. I'm asian and don't have much hair to remove to begin with. Now half a year later, the difference has yet to show itself. My one request was to have my upper-lip bare and what I ended up with was burn spots and stubs that continue to grow. My current esthetician recently explained to me that electrolysis is mainly for blonde and red hairs and laser is a better tool for brown and black hairs because of the nature of light. Light reflects off light colors just like the sun/heat bounces off white clothes and is absorbed into dark colors. I would have been very appreciative to know this tidbit prior to throwing down hundreds at this place so I hope it does someone else good... read more

It's been 14 years since I first saw Nicole so it's time to update my review! I went to ElectroYogi yesterday to address some new issues and she asked to check my underarms which she had cleared back in 2007. She & I were both thrilled to see that they still look fantastic! With her magnifying loops on, Nicole spotted a few stray blonde hairs that I've never noticed, so she zapped them just for good measure. I can't believe I haven't shaved my armpits since 2007! Meanwhile, I have some new mid-life facial hair so she used the blend technique to treat my upper lip and a mole on my jawline, and there's literally no sign today of treatment -- no redness, dots, or swelling. Electrolysis is absolutely amazing. Thank you, Electrolysis Goddess Nicole!!! read more

For the few months I have been coming to see Nicole and I am very happy with results. On m first appointment I completed a form on my background and we discussed what type treatments I have used in the past for hair removal. I had been waxing for so long with no real change and I was tired of the mess and skin loss. Nicole is the guru at hair removal...I was super comfortable and at ease. We women talk about unwanted hair and I have told all my friends about her. I have noticed a huge change hair growth and texture. As with any treatment it takes time and some expect instant results, it does not work like that. I love the new office ! read more

If you are thinking of going down the path of electrolysis here in Los Angeles, search no more! ElectroYogi Electrolysis is the way to go. Typically I lean on referrals from friends for my self care services. In this case however, I discovered Nicole here at EE all on my own. I am thrilled that I did. During my online sleuthing I discovered Nicole's YouTube clips. She drew me in immediately. After watching her tutorials I felt completely at ease and confident that I was putting myself in the care of a warm knowledgeable professional. My instincts were correct. I encourage you to check out her clips as well. I am three sessions in and happy with my results. I actually look forward to my appointments with Nicole. I find her to be a gem. Parking is very convenient. The business is in a quiet charming neighborhood. ElectroYogi handles all covid protocols like a champ. I am grateful for the amount of precaution taken. Communication and appointment reminders that come through on my phone are clear and helpful. The treatment room is the perfect mix of cozy, comfortable, and sterile. One last note to leave you on. As recommended, Advil and numbing cream before my service works wonders! :) Erin F. read more

5 Stars I've been debating whether or not to post a review for ElectroYogi for quite some time now because of three main reasons: 1) I'm a guy 2) I'm a guy 3) I'm a guy After contemplating this for some time though, I also realized for me to not post a review about ElectroYogi would be a huge disservice for the guys out there who are looking for hair removal options and are clueless about it. So, for those guys who are interested in the enigmatic hair removal process, read on. For the people who carry an abundance of stereotypes and flamethrowers in your cortexes for reviews just like this, give me your best shot. Some backround before the formal review - -I have never been to any other Electrologist or Laser Hair Removal Specialist before. -I have also never waxed before because the thought of pulling out multiple pieces of hair strands with a bandage full of crazy glue doesn't sit too well with me. -I was interested in removing my chest hair and fortunately the amount of hair I had was minimal so it worked out perfectly. So, why do guys want hair taken off to begin with? Back in the 80's, it was considered acceptable for a guy to wear a rug on his chest like Tom Selleck did in Magnum PI. The many James Bonds we've seen so far also rocked pectoral sweaters except for the most recent Bond, Daniel Craig. Nowadays, it seems the concept of "less is more" has gained popularity in the hair domain for both sexes. As for why I chose to remove my chest hair, it was because I like working out and having no hair would show muscle definition better. That is also the reason why some guys clear the hair off their legs. Whatever your reason may be though, if you're a typical guy like me, you probably don't know where to start. I had a myriad of questions about how to permanently remove hair. Even my girlfriend couldn't truly separate fact from fiction when it came to Electrolysis versus Laser Hair Removal. She tweezes and waxes everywhere. (Her follicles in Brazil scram and run in fright whenever they see her approach.) I did my due diligence online and the basic gist I uncovered was that laser hair removal is not necessarily permanent. It permanently REDUCES hair but it doesn't necessarily permanently REMOVE hair. I thought it was ridiculous to spend all that money on a process only to have no real guarantee! I wanted to confirm my findings with a specialist so I scoured Yelp and Google for some specialists. I fortuitously found Nicole through Yelp and after she answered the many questions I shot her way via email, I decided to meet with her face to face for a free consultation. Upon meeting Nicole, she was genuine and very welcoming. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She wanted to make sure I received accurate information so she took the time to describe the whole electrolysis process and how it differed from other methods of hair removal. (Waxing and plucking for all you ladies out there actually is the catalyst for more hair growth FYI.) Nicole was brutally honest with me from the get go because she wanted to manage my expectations. She told me for some people with more hair, it might be more cost and time efficient to have laser hair removal done first to reduce the volume of undesired hair and then undergo electrolysis after that to remove the remaining traces of hair! It's rare to find a business in this day and age that promotes the direct competition to it's clients! Honesty is the obvious recurrent theme here. After my free consultation, Nicole encouraged me to take some time to think about everything we discussed before I made a final decision. She even thought it was best to contact other places. In hindsight, I think she said this because she was confident the other places wouldn't match up to her service and professionalism. I didn't even remotely consider contacting another specialist after I met with Nicole though. I agreed to start the same day as my consultation. Nicole was able to give me a small discount because I paid for ten sessions up-front but even if there were no discounts involved, I would still pay for her services without any reservations whatsoever. Nicole's office in Eagle Rock is quaint, cozy, relaxing, and mostly importantly to me, clean. I believe cleanliness is next to godliness and Nicole could very well be one of the Disciples. Time flies by quickly each session and Nicole being a great conversationalist that she is who has led a colorful life doesn't hurt my time with her either. In summary, for all the guys out there who have questions about hair removal for any body part, I highly recommend contacting Nicole for a free consultation. For all the ladies out there who are chronic waxers and pluckers or for those who have experienced unsatisfactory laser treatments, you too should seriously consider talking to Nicole because in the end, you'll be saving lots of time and money. read more

I have had a few sessions to zap some unwanted hair with both estheticians. They are both very professional and knowledgable. The studio is in a lower basement level of the owners home which was beautifully transformed into a workspace with two treatment rooms. Now in all honestly electrolysis comes with pain and sometimes scaring (nothing permanent). The pain feels like a little shock in some areas but can really hurt in others like the under arms. They offered me some numbing cream for those areas and after it set in I couldn't feel anything. My skin hyper pigments so after each treatment I am left with dark marks which take a couple of months to fade. In my case the hairs I am having removed always become ingrown and cause the dark marks by themselves which I have dealt with for years. By having the hair removed I will only have to deal with the dark marks this one final time so it's worth it. Sessions run $25 for every 15 minutes. They typically need 30 minutes for each under arm. Also be prepared to come back for further sessions! Hair grows in cycles meaning that while some hairs have grown out others are still regenerating and will grow out at a later time. In my case my hair was very thick so it's taking longer than someone with thinner hairs. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for a permanent solution to unwanted hair. Also check their website for more info on the process and how to prepare for treatment. read more

Absolutely Amazing! I would leave you with that but obviously you probably want a little more information. After considering a lifetime of waxing and tweezing I was terribly dismayed that laser hair removal would not work as effectively on someone of my skin complexion. In addition there were too many other risky variables such as scarring, possible pigmentation issues on my brown skin, and permament hair removal is not guaranteed! Let this be a disclaimer that I am not anti-laser, I am pro anything that works efficiently, and in my case electrolysis is the most effective method for me and my needs. Somehow I ventured onto yelp reviews for ElectroYogi and found Nicole! I've been a client since early 2008 and we've worked on facial hair, tummy, and now the bikini line. I hope to one day brave the Brazilian but I'm taking baby steps! Now its electrolysis people, it's not the most pleasant feeling to be zapped, however I was able to doze off in the studio which is a great testament to how gentle Nicole is and how any discomfort is minimized during the process! What's great about Nicole is that she will set up a treatment plan with you, and as you progress you can add other body parts. It really is a great investment and it's the best option in the long run in terms of cost effectiveness and achieving permanent hair removal. If you're on the fence, just treat yourself to one appointment with Nicole and you'll be hooked! read more

My combination of uber-sensitive skin and coarse hair makes for a warzone in certain areas. It is getting to a point where I can't shave my armpits without breaking out in a rash of bumps and ingrown hairs that last up to a week. I've had it! I've tried waxing... it's great for some things. I tried laser... it was really expensive, didn't work, and it hurt like a bastard. Like a bastard, I tell you! I was hesitant to try electrolysis because I knew it was time consuming, and I had heard that it can cause scars. Memories surface of my mother's high school friends, swarthy and Italian like her... only with these oddly enlarged pores on their chins from years of bad electrolysis. Apparently, electrolysis went unregulated for years. Nicole explained to me that different areas where hair grow require different strengths from the electrolysis machine. The technology has changed a lot in recent years and now, it is regulated in the same way barbershops are. The fact that Nicole uses recent technology was one of the selling points for me. That, and she's right around the corner from where I live. I am now in the process of having the hair completely cleared out from my under-arms. The bad news is, it's going to take awhile and, I'm not going to lie, it hurts. And it is time-consuming. But from my experience, laser hurt the worst, then waxing, then electrolysis. With this, you almost kind of get used to it; and if you can't, Nicole will recommend a topical anesthetic (I plan to use one next time.) Nicole's little home studio is very cute, too - good books on the wall, good music playing, and very relaxing. She answers all your questions very thoroughly and tries to help you fully understand how the process works. If you're looking to try out electrolysis, I definitely recommend Electroyogi. read more

Thanks Yelpers! I found ElectroYogi on here and I can not say how excited I am about Yelping about this. WOHOOO! For the past two years I've been waxing, MY ENTIRE BODY, and all of a sudden I started getting ingrown hairs, especially around my bikini. (Insert embarrassing here). I was trying everything, Tendskin, just shaving, letting it all grow out, and nothing was solving the damage I had done to my skin. I can't say enough nice things about Nicole. She explains the electrolysis method thoroughly, listens to your overall goals and will even help you come up with a financial package to help you pay your way toward smooth skin bliss!! Her background is in electrolysis, and I think it's difficult to find a person who has the education and knows the importance of learning about human dermatology and treatments. It's $100 an hour. The first session is a consultation and electrolysis appointment and is only $50. So far I've gone twice (once for one hour and another time for two hours), and I have already seen results (bikini and upper lip). I can't wait to bust into my bikini this summer and wiggle my hair-less body all over the place! read more

Having thick hair can be great - I'm forever getting compliments on my long hair and arched brows - but if it's anywhere but those two places, it's a time-consuming, painful, and generally annoying problem. So after being very displeased with my results from lasering, I found ElectroYogi on Yelp and decided to pay Nicole a visit. I had my first session/consultation yesterday. Yes, this is run out of a home, but Nicole's home is absolutely lovely (she has excellent taste!) and she has a special room just for her electrolysis clients. It's very clean and it smells wonderful. There was some brief paperwork, and after, Nicole thoroughly explained the process of electrolysis to me and why it works. She's very knowledgable in her field and definitely put me at ease, even though I was really nervous. After all, the method itself sounds like torture. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the pain wasn't that bad - there was definitely a tweezing-esque sting, but nothing unbearable. Plus, it was that time of month for me and I'm notoriously sensitive to hair removal during it, but it really wasn't as bad as I was expecting! Nicole was very gentle and thorough in the process. It's time-consuming, because Nicole is painstakingly removing each individual hair and killing it forever, but I'm sure the results will be well worth it. Afterwards, I was red and swollen, but Nicole reassured me it would go down in about an hour. It did - today I look like I had nothing done but a nice wax or shave! Although it's too soon to tell whether electrolysis will be the answer to my unwanted hair prayers, I definitely have faith in Nicole's abilities. I will update this review in a few months to let everyone know my results. For now, 5 glowing stars for ElectroYogi. read more

Nicole is one of the sweetest people you'll meet. After doing much research, I decided to book an appointment with ElectroYogi. Thank you yelpers!! :) She's a keeper! Very professional and attentive. She seems to know her stuff! In my first visit, I was properly educated and informed on the service - also impressed with the studio which was relaxing and had put my nervousness at ease. I have to admit that I did feel some slight pain but it goes away quickly in minutes. If you're looking for a great electrologist, Give her a try - I think you wouldn't be disappointed. The excellent reviews are spot on & there isn't much I can add that hasn't been said. Nicole is terrific as a person and as a practitioner. I am fair skinned and fair haired so I never thought about hair removal till I hit my mid-40s and unwanted facial hair started showing up (peri-menopausal stuff). Tweezing was driving me mad (apart from giving me ingrown hairs and occasional infections) and other methods didn't seem permanent enough for me. Nicole was wonderful, honest, fair, smart and a delight. She has great energy and got me to put down tweezers. I didn't find it hurt much at all but I guess everyone's pain tolerance is different. For those of us who are experiencing hair growth in new areas and are new to hair removal, this is the place to go. The location is private, very clean and relaxing. Parking is easy and free as well. I found the prices to be very fair and reasonable. read more

Still waiting on a response to my email I sent a couple of days ago. Eager for an appointment!

As a young woman of black, white, latin, and mayan descent, I tend to be much more on the hairier side. I have been growing unwanted facial and bodily hair since the age of 13 and have been very self-conscious of it. I began tweezing at a very early age; However, tweezing only made my situation worse and left pretty scarred up. When I turned 18, I decided to try laser hair removal. I was super excited because i felt that I had finally found a solution to my unwanted hairiness. Unfortunately after almost 3 years of laser treatments, I was HAIRIER than before and didn't get the results i was looking for. I was so fed and disappointed but i didn't want to stop there. I am now 21 and i have finally decided to give electrolysis a shot; My aunt did it back in the 90s and her face is completely hair free. Don't know why i didn't just do this in the first place. I found ElectroYogi through Yelp and have been very happy with my service and results so far. I have had the pleasure to work with both Nicole and Vanessa and they have both been amazing. They work fast and I have seen great results in just the little time that I have been going to them. I had my very first two electrolysis appointments done in the Bay Area (it is where I attend college) but I must say that I much prefer ElectroYogi over my Bay Area electrologist. ;) Laser Hair Removal did make my hair situation worse but I am glad i found a permanent solution to my problem. Nicole and her team are very knowledgeable and are worth every penny! Thank you for making my experience such a pleasant one and I am glad I have found ElectroYogi! If you want read up on my entire hairy situation, you can read my story on my blog! :) http://bit.ly/1M4xdnO read more

After reading the amazing reviews on yelp I decided to book and appointment with Nicole! I am so glad to have found such an amazing Electrologist! I have pretty much tried all forms of hair removal. Waxing, treading, and then there was laser hair removal! After going to laser for about a year I started to notice my hair (which was once fine baby hair) getting thicker and darker! I noticed that laser was just making everything worse then it originally was! That's when I found Electroyogi! I have been going to Electroyogi for about 2 years now and I can not thank Nicole enough! She has made me feel more confident in my skin! I love going to my appointments because of the relaxing atmosphere and the cleanliness! Nicole is very professional and very knowledgable in the field she works in! Keep going and you won't be disappointed with the beautiful results! read more

I should have reviewed Electroyogi long ago, but better late than never! I have been coming here for a little over a year, working on essentially covering the entire lower half of my face. I've tried laser and many other electrolysis places, but the entire electroyogi team is fantastic. Hair removal is a painful process, not physically as electroyogi has helped me make the process as pain free as possible, but emotionally! Between Vanessa and Nicole, they work with me not only on my hair, but have improved my relationship with myself. I know that sounds like a bit of an over-exaggeration but my hair growth has made me feel less of a woman. It's made me self conscious, depressed, and there were nights I wouldn't be able to go meet friends because i was afraid of my 5 o'clock shadow. Nicole and Vanesa have gotten to know me not only as a client, but as a friend. Over the last year, I had job changes, relationship changes, a new puppy, and more than one move to a new apartment in the city. I have missed appointments due to my own stupidity and they are so accommodating and kind about everything. They go above and beyond as electrologists. They are just good, wonderful, kind human beings. I see some negative reviews about Erin, and although I am yet to book with her, she sat in on one of my sessions with Nicole. She was asking great questions- not only about the process but about my client experience. She is in good hands and I have no doubt she will get up to speed quickly. It may take awhile to get in the door here, but I promise you are worth it. THEY ARE WORTH IT!! I love you, Nicole, electroyogi, Vanessa, and the whole team. Thank you for making change on me and anyone else who needs it. This is the best business I know in Los Angeles for hair removal. read more

I have a lot to say here but I am going to be brief. As brief as I can. Nicole totally rocks. After being told I can't do laser cut I have a tattoo on my whoo-haa and it will blister. Not wanting blisters I found Electroyogi on here and went in for a consult. I was afraid of the more pain/more money scenario with electro. Pain: Yup, hurts. But don't try to be a hero like me on my first visit and go au natural. Take yer Aleve and put on a topical an hour before and you'll be fine. Money: It's more expensive (seeming) than laser. But this is PERMANENT. Like REALLY. Which. Totally. Rules. And I'm sure if you add up getting laser-ed every few years it will add up to the same. Or less. Or WAXING. I am really just totally over throwing away that $75 a month. I can give that to Nicole and see an exit strategy to this world of hair. I kinda want everything done now... And excited about NEVER thinking about it again. After the first three weeks, the time when my hair post-wax usually isstarting to grow back and I was still hairless I wanted to do a little DANCE in my bathroom everyday. I still do. After a month and a half I'm already SO happy and we aren't even done. I've invested in a trimmer to keep me neat in the meantime so I don't go nutty and can't wait for the finish line... At least for this area. More will come... Oh yes... I envision a hairless world. And Nicole is TOTALLY delightful and her house and treatment room are SO lovely and clean and it smells delightfully spa like. It's like getting a fun hang out time with a cool chick and good tunes - except you are getting electricity zapped into your hairs. Don't bother looking anywhere else. Electroyogi is the best. Just go. Go now. read more

To electrolysis or not to electrolysis, that is the question. If you wonder about laser or electrolysis for hair removal like I did, here's the answer, free of charge-laser is not a permanent hair removal option, it simply reduces hair growth. But electrolysis actually takes out the hair follicles so it results in permanent hair removal. If I sound like I know what I am talking about, you should talk to the pro, Nicole, who drew little pictures for me to illustrate this concept! I also found Nicole through fellow yelpers. I've had two treatments and it's been great. I am seeing results and am going back regularly. On your first visit, she will seat you down on her colorful and comfy sofa and explain to you all the ins and outs of electrolysis. She addressed all my questions with patience so I was more at ease with the procedure. She's very professional, yet personable and helpful! Her home is really adorable and her office is extremely clean. I saw her using antiseptic wipes to wipe her machine and lamp after a treatment. The procedure doesn't hurt as much as I thought. It's usually an hour per treatment. After my first treatment she even emailed to see how I was feeling. Did I mention she has great taste in music? read more

Let me start off by saying electro yogi offers a nice relaxing atmosphere and clean equipment. However, the prices are kind of steep when compared to other places. I recently found a place that's a bit closer to me, with service that is very comparable but with much lower prices. Having said that, I would give it more stars if I didn't feel ripped off paying $100 for an hour. If you're the type of person who doesn't care about overpaying then for sure I do recommend this place. read more

I decided to write this review, even though I went there a few years ago, but always when I log in on Yelp comes "Your next Review Await". That's annoying! Yes, I had a good experience. Everything it was clean and sterilized, but it was a little expansive and far from my city. Later, I found on Yelp another Electrolysis professional, very affordable, close to my place, and also great! read more

I've been going to Nicole off and on for a couple years. Prior to seeing her for the first time, I was pretty skeptical about electrolysis. I had done laser hair removal for awhile which did work for some hair, but after having a bad burn experience, I decided I needed to try something else. But I wasn't so sure if electrolysis would actually work. After seeing all the positive reviews on yelp, I made an appointment, and I was very glad I did. Electrolysis really does work, and Nicole has created such a welcoming, soothing, and relaxing environment at Electroyogi. Although I wish it was located closer, it's worth it to me to make the drive, and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Nicole is extremely good at what she does. She's fast, efficient, very knowledgeable about electrolysis, and she is always fun to talk to. I'm always impressed by how much hair she can take care of in one of my 30 minute sessions- and walking away hair free always feels amazing. Since going to Nicole, I've seen some great results. I would recommend Electroyogi to anyone. read more

I have been dealing with unwanted body hair for years, especially on my face. My hair is dark, coarse, grows back very quickly, and is quite noticable on my skin. Throughout the years have tried tweezing, waxing, laser hair removal, depilatories, epilatories, bleaching, shaving etc. Some methods were painful and/or left me with very irritated skin as my skin is also quite sensitive. Above all these are all temporary solutions. Though over the years, I have come to embrace some of my body hair, but my facial hair is something I am still extremely self conscious about. It has been a hinderance in my life, as it plays a major decision factor in my social life. I was tired of feeling held back by this unwanted hair, so at a bit of a wit's end I did a bit of research. I came across ElectroYogi Electrolysis, and scheduled an appointment with Nicole, the founder and Owner of ElectroYogi. I was a bit nervous upon my first consultation as I really didn't know much about Electrolysis or what to expect with the treatments. I was a little hesitant in investing in Electrolysis as I thought my hairs would just be too stubborn, but even after my first treatment I noticed a difference. Nicole answered all and any questions I had about Electrolysis upon our initial appointment. She is very knowlegdable, and so accomodating and caring. The treatments are efficient, getting the most hairs with the most accuracy within your scheduled time. I know everyone has a different pain tolerance, though as someone with extra sensitive skin, the treatment is so tolerable and really only feels like a little pinch for a few seconds. The ElectroYogi home studio is very clean, comfortable, and the machines for treatments are up to date, and very well kept. All the staff are communicative, along with being super wonderful and sweet. They truly care about what they do and really try and get to know their clients as well. After a few treatments with Electro Yogi my hair is growing back slower, finer, or not at all! I am so grateful for Nicole and ElectroYogi! read more
