Beyond upset with my service today. I have no words I'm so mad! The woman even had the nerve to ask if I wanted to purchase a membership. I even left a tip despite crappy service. So triggered! I had to ask her to remove hairs she left! And still I have to go home and remove hairs so I don't have a unibrow! Should've left when I heard the owner wasn't there apparently she is the only one with skill. My hair is not sparse her dumb ass took too much off and left me looking like I tried threading my own brows. In fact thread your own before going here. Will be calling management! So upset with the service I received today wish I could ask for a refund. This is not okay! read more

Super fast and super friendly! I was able to walk in at 5pm and got seated right away. Two other women walked in while I was there, so this place is loved in the neighborhood. I came for threading which was done really well. I've had threading done a bunch before but I will say I found this place particularly meticulous which is awesome. I don't live in this area but come visit friends here often and I will definitely go to this salon again. read more

Oh my goodness, who are the 2 new girls. As soon as I walked in and didn't see the owner I knew I should have turned around and walked out. They have two new girls working and I explained in detail to just clean my brows up do not go thin. I'm sitting in the parking lot reviewing this because it's so awful. My eyebrows are ultra-thin and uneven now. One's longer than the other, one's thicker than the other. I guess I'm going to be heavily depending on filling them in until they grow back, what a mess :( read more

Typically no to very little wait. I am a regular here about every 3 weeks for brow threading and tinting. I don't visit at the same time or day each time, so I see a different employee each time. They are all very skilled and do a great job! I've always been happy with the results. read more

What a great experience! I went in to get my eyebrows threaded, there was someone already in the chair so I had to wait less than a minute. The place looks very clean and crisp, and it smells very relaxing. I hopped in the chair and got my threading done, and then she applied some aloe and double checked with me to make sure I was happy with them. I mentioned something about my eyebrows being thinner in one spot and was shown brow powder they actually make themselves, and was given a chance to try it out and bought it and so far I love it! I also went ahead and bought the membership which gives you discounted prices for the whole year because I'm definitely going back. Not that you really need it with the already great prices! I think my threading cost $11, and with the membership it's now $9. Next on my list is to try some eyelash extensions here and I'm very excited! read more

I'm not too happy with my eyebrows after coming here. I got them tinted and threaded. I asked for them to be cleaned up with a little arch. There is no shape to my brows at all and that are basically just straight across my forehead. Just moved to Austin and my previous eyebrow place did a much better job shaping my brows. Also the tint is blotchy and missing in certain parts of my brows. Again, never an issue before. Not happy with them. May come back and give it a second chance but not sure I want to. read more

I've only had them do my eyebrows so far, so I can't rate them on other things. I became a member for $17 a year. The membership discounts the services a bit and now it only cost $9 to get my eyebrows done. I wasn't sure about the whole membership thing, but it has had the added benefit of making me go every two weeks like I should anyway.I have had the bad habit of waiting WAY past when I should get them done. $18 a month is affordable (going 2x a month) and I no longer walk around with crazy overgrown eyebrows for weeks before going in and taking care of it. I've gone three times now. I've never had the same person twice, which is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. It would be nice to be able to get the same person more often, so they know what I am aiming for with the brows. I've always been satisfied with what they do though. read more

I happened upon Hello Gorgeous today. I would like to give them 5 stars but it was not perfect. The owners are lovely people. I had a facial and threading. I had my first threading today and I loved it. I enjoyed the facial but there was a lot of futzing about the room. The music was too loud also. She apologized and stated next time will be better. I purchase a membership as all services are half off during the grand opening and it was only twenty dollars for the year. The membership entitles you to 20% off all future services. New to Austin, and needed a trusted threading place close to home. I passed this place and decided to try it out back when I was home-searching, and was not disappointed. I've since been back twice, and had two different ladies thread my eyebrows, and both did an excellent job. They did a great job shaping to the shape that I wanted, as opposed to letting my eyebrows "grow thick" because it's "in style" as I've been told other places. Love this place! Purchased a Groupon for 3 eyebrow threading and keep coming back. They do a great job if keeping your eyebrows looking full and healthy. You don't have to worry about thin brows you get at some waxing salons. I also jumped on the bandwagon and got my eyebrows tinted for the first time. At first, I was slightly taken aback by how dark they looked, but by the next day, I was completely use to them and my husband didn't even notice, so can't be too dramatic! Now I get them tinted each time, as I noticed my eyebrows look much more defined and help with my overall look. I even signed up for their membership, which gets you 20% off all services. So far, I've only don't treading and tinting, but look forward to trying their facial services as well. I didn't catch the name of the woman who helped me but she was super patient and worked quickly and efficiently. I just wanted my brows cleaned up and she did a great job of doing that without thinning them out at all. She was also super thorough and got all the peach fuzz. My face is silky smooth now! They do good work but are super unprofessional. I walked in today, mind you the place is usually empty, and I wait there for five minutes before getting told to wait another ten as the only person working was eating lunch. I say okay and 20 minutes later when someone else walks in, she finally starts working on my eyebrows. I found it so rude that on top of leaving a 10 hour shift at my job I had to wait another half hour to be attended to. Please look into your employees. read more

Went there for the first time today and loved it! I'm new to Austin so I needed a place to get my brows threaded and this is definitely the place I'm going back to. She listened to what I was concerned about and worked quickly and efficiently. The job was well done. Location is right in between h&r and a spa in the same shopping center as HEB. The price is normal $11 for eyebrows $7 for lip. I usually spend $20 anyway so overall, a good experience! read more

Oh boy. I was thrilled to find a salon that threads in south Austin with reasonable prices. I had consistently wonderful results until recently. I'm sad to say the last two times I have gone there have been two new ladies working. Both times I asked for a "clean up" and to keep the brows thick near the middle and tapered towards the ends..... this time they were threaded almost pencil thin circa the 2000s! Not sure what is going on but retraining may be needed :(. The original employees and owner do wonderful work.... read more

This is my favorite place by far to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted in south austin. They're good and listen to what you like and don't like, and on the tinting if it fades too much in the first day or so, they'll retint for free. Great customer service always! It's hard to go to a new city and find a new threader that you trust with your brows, but I have loved this place so far. It's tucked away in the shopping center and a little difficult to find, but the service is always so quick and friendly. I finally caved and bought their membership, which is worth the monthly fees I spend in getting my brows done to have the savings. What I appreciate most is that not only are they quick, but they also take a conservative approach to eyebrows. They never over do it and really strive to bring out my natural brow shape rather than making it something it's not. I will continue to keep returning. read more

I came in to get my eyebrows threaded and my eyelashes tinted- both of which I had never done before. I was super impressed by the eyebrow threading, I have very blonde eyebrows and she was able to get all of the "invisible" hairs above and below my brow line. When it was time to get my eyelashes tinted, after 7 minutes the chemicals began to burn my eyelids so the gal rushed me to the back to rinse off the dye. I was still charged for the eyelash tinting even though no difference was made in the color of my eyelashes. I guess makes sense because the dye was used and a service was performed, but is that the right thing to do? This is my first time getting my eyelashes tinted, is it supposed to burn like that? I'll definitely be returning for the the eyebrow threading, but don't recommend the eyelash tinting service here. read more

Right before pandemic started, I had been here several times. I even recommended it to a coworker. We both agreed to get the membership since we were going often enough. When I returned after paying membership, I was offered to apply for the membership AGAIN. I thanked her and said I had paid my membership last time I was there. I even showed the card I was given at the time. She asked my name, looked me up on a notebook and said she had no record of me having the membership. I showed her my card transaction from the last time I was there which was obvious that the total was threading plus their fee. I asked how did I have the "membership card" if I hadn't paid already. She said she had no idea, but I had to pay full price that day and come back at another time since manager was not there. Never went back. Didn't write a review until now because I came across it again in my search. So, be sure they have a record of your membership if you pay for it. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for about 5 years now, and I've never had a bad experience like this. Hurt way more than usual (even when I let them grow out), but what's really upsetting is that my eyebrows are incredibly thin now and two completely different sizes/shapes. I've been coming to this threading salon for a few months now and I can say I'm very happy with their services. The ladies are very friendly and gentle. I would prefer to have the same person do my brows every time but it seems like they are all pretty well trained. So far so good! Threading is a bit painful the first few times you do it especially if you have thick brows like mine, but it gets better with each visit. It's a good alternative to waxing if your skin needs the break. read more
