I've been going to Ro for 3 years and before that my brows were a mess! Completely mismatched. She is a miracle-worker -- super amazing at what she does. I've also gotten facials from her, which are also really good. She recommended Dermalogica face cleanser to me and it's all I've used for the last two years -- she knows exactly how to fix any problem you're having with your brows/face/whatever. I moved to LA two years ago and I still go back to her every time I visit home, I haven't let ANYONE else touch my brows since I started going to her. She's also just the sweetest person ever -- she's solved so many problems for me just while we were chatting as she was doing my brows. Ro is absolutely amazing and my brows are in the best shape of my life because of her talent and eye for perfection! I first found Ro on Yelp and based on other great reviews contacted her right away. At that time, about a year and a half ago, she was so booked that she was unable to take new clients (if that alone doesn't tell you how wonderful she is, I don't know what will!) Rocio works magic. I have never been so happy with my eyebrows and eyelashes. Ro dyes and shapes my brows and tints my eyelashes occasionally. I first went to see Ro after a friend back in high school recommended her about 5 years ago. I've had my eyebrows waxed and prom make-up done by her and she's honestly the best. She really spends time on your eyebrows and is a true artist. She understands face shape and eyebrows extremely well. As Ro says, "Your eyebrows are sisters, not twins." I have been going to Rocio for years and she had done a great job on my brows. However, she recently instituted a policy where if you are late then you have to pay $15. I had never been late before but there was an accident on the freeway which caused me to be late to this appointment. Ro would not wave the fee and she has now lost two customers (myself and my mom) because of this illogical business practice. Instead, I went to another esthetician who did the same quality of work at a lower price. Though Ro was good, she is not worth the $15 fee + $25 for brows + tip and will not be receiving any business from me again. read more

I like to refer to Rocio as the local Anastacia of eyebrows. I have been going to her for almost 7 years and she is the absolute best. I really didn't know the importance of shaping your eyebrows until I saw her. I have seen 2 other people before I started seeing her. My last esthetician had left the salon I was going to so I needed to find someone else who used the green/blue wax which was a lot gentler on my skin. When I was referred to Ro, I came in there with my brows needing work and help with my facial needs. I broke out a lot and didn't know how to take better care of my skin. Even though I went there just for my eyebrows, I asked her questions about my skin and she took the time to explain to me her recommendations without any obligation to buy any products. She was confident in letting me know that if I followed her recommendations she would get my skin back on track. I was a little reluctant given that I had a bad experience with a different salon that gave me my first facial but with Ro's facials the way she does extractions were not as painful. Yes, she's that good. So with a few facials and buying some Dermalogica products I now have the best skin that I've ever had in my adult life. I had my first bikini wax with her (YIKES) but she made the experience as painless as it could be and made sure I was ok with every pull. You know you need to go to an expert when people start asking you if you have a question because your eyebrows look like they are in a state of perpetual confusion. To make a long story short, I had one brow up and the other brow down. I would always have to take photos with one side of my face turned because something was just not right with my brows, and if I tried to do my own brows....I would somehow shade them too much and have some really dark scary villian-looking things. So after coming to the realization that I know absolutely nothing about eyebrows I did a lot of searching and found Rocio :-) I have been seeing Rocio for almost two months now and she has turned my weird uneven lined brows to thick and gorgeous arched brows. Moreover, she even made me not feel bad about letting them grow in-between appointments because she has this strategy where she shapes your brow in a way where it is barely noticeable that other hairs are growing in. And once the hairs do grow in, they blend with the eventual shape Rocio is imagining for your face. Rocio is also very hands-on. She had be on her waxing bed, but also standing up and looking at her to make sure that my brows were even and making sense to my face shape.
