There was a time where I desperately tried to find a facialist last second when HeeSun was on vacation and it was a waste of money. I left looking the same as when I walked in. HeeSun looks at your skin and identifies your skin needs, she doesn't just put random stuff on your face. She takes her time, and doesn't rush like other spas that do everything without care. She extracts, steams, moisturizes, masks, and even has high tech equipment like High frequency probe to use on your face. She won't do something that won't benefit your skin. I came to her recently after I had really bad congestion and failed to extract properly, I gave myself red, inflammed, and patchy skin. She spent a good amount of time extracting the remaining spots I had failed to extract successfully and soothed, & iced my face after all the steaming and prepping. The next morning I was pretty shocked to see that even the initial breakouts I had, had disappeared and dried up. Mind blown once again! Went in today for my two year touch…read moreup! Karly is still the most amazing woman ever and never fails to amaze me with her talent! Let me just tell you a little of what you can expect. There plenty of parking when you first arrive and it's definitely a very nice building so no stresses there. Karly will either give you the code to get in the elevator, or meet you in the parking lot. If your like me and get lost easily this is super helpful. Once you arrive inside her office, you'll first notice is kept extremely clean, it's decorated super cute and she has very good taste in lamps. Lol. Seriously though, you will feel 100% safe knowing and seeing how extremely clean it is and how she goes to the max on making sure your in a sterile area for your eyebrows to be done. She also has water bottles available, I always find this to be useful and nice. On to the actual procedure. So as I said earlier it's extremely clean, Karly makes sure she opens thing in front of you so you know it's never been used before. She also has everything covered in plastic, gives you a hair net, wears one herself as well as a face mask like they do at nail salons. This is a big deal for me! I feel like a lot of places just don't seam to pay this much attention to detail and it can be stressful to feel like things are not in order all the way when your trusting someone with your body. Or at least that's how I feel. Anyways, she does go over shape with you and will actually listen to what you want, she never makes me feel uncomfortable when I give my opinion. That's another win! After shape is chosen she adds a numbing cream to your brows. I love this stuff! I literally had to ask her if she started already cause I couldn't feel it. Once that cream starts fading away she'll add more too. Thank god! Lol. I'm a huge baby! She sits you up a few times in the apt to make sure your happy with the work done so far and if there's anything you want different. This to me is great! I really like that she makes me feel like I'm in control of how they're gonna turn out and she wants to be 100% sure I leave happy. Obviously she does a amazing job and is so experienced I really don't have much to say, she never does anything I'm not happy with. :) Once the apt is over with she will give you some aftercare things to take home as well as a sheet of paper with the aftercare instructions. They are super easy and as long as you follow them you'll have no problems at all! After all is said and done you book your touch up and your good to go! I was a bit nervous to make a commitment to permanently alter my face and almost cancelled the…read morenight before but I'm glad I didn't. Karly is so sweet and instantly put me at ease. She was informative and encouraged me to ask all the questions I needed to. All the horror stories I read online were for the traditional tattoo method. Karly is highly skilled at the SofTap method. Very different from the traditional tattoo method. SofTap is noiseless, non-invasive, and gives clients the most natural look in permanent cosmetics. I got my eyebrows and lips done. Karly used a lot of numbing products so I virtually felt nothing. I almost fell asleep during the process. Karly is a perfectionist and makes sure you look natural and are happy with your look when you walk out the door. She sent me home with a care sheet and ointment for my brows and numbing ointment for my lips. After care is to keep my brows dry for 4 days then use the ointment and numbing cream for 48 hours to keep my lips moist and help with any after pain. Honestly, the only after pain is minor prickly feeling on my lips and brows. Which is essentially no pain at all. I'm def grateful I made the decision to get my lips and brows done with Karly. Jessie didn't say much and we didn't have any conversation, but it didn't make for a bad experience. Since I knew what to expect, the process was quick and easy. Jessie set it up, came back to check on me a few times, and made it an easy, pain-free process. Afterwards, when i checked my lashes, they looked amazing! The best lift that I've had in awhile and especially in this area. You do have to put down a deposit to make your appointment, but it goes toward your appointment, so you only need to pay the difference. Overall, I had a positive experience and my lash lift lasted a good 8 weeks. I definitely recommend and would like to go back (though it is a bit far for me!).

I came in with a Groupon a little over two years ago. I'd had a few bleach treatments in the 3-5…read moreyears prior, and my hair has tolerated it remarkably well, remaining healthy and strong and shiny, probably because I never heat treat it. I came in for my first hair treatment since covid, so I was ~emotional and excited for a refresh. I forget the name of my stylist but ...... wow. 1- We were lightening for a balayage and despite using bleach my tips came out darker, still warm-toned (I'm undeniably cool-toned and made sure to bring it up). Also my whole head was about one (warm) color... it didn't reflect our discussion at all, and my balayage gave harsh grow out lines 2- Despite the low level of lightening, and my hair being very receptive to bleach, the treatment she applied absolutely fried my hair. It's been over two years since I had this done and I've heat styled it 0 times and dyed it 0 times, and even after cutting it much shorter the bottom 8" completely remain utterly fried. 2 years later I'm accepting that I'll probably have to cut it chin length to stop the absolutely dead hair from splitting further. Even with Olaplex, it's so outrageously tangled, split (I've had hairs with 4+ splits in them ... WTH), and dead that there's no saving it. I've never experienced anything like it.. it's just *dead*. I've only had my hair lightened in a salon because I'm so worried about this happening, and it's hilarious that the most ineffective bleach treatment I've ever had somehow was the one bleach treatment to ruin my hair. I'm about resigned to hacking it to a short bob and starting over. Oh - they also charged me extra on top of the Groupon because my hair was below my shoulders, even though it's extremely fine. Long story short, my Groupon here actually ruined my gorgeous hair, and I think it'll be about 5 years to get it back. Approaching the midpoint I think it's time to leave a review. :( Tl;dr my self-care appointment to rehab long boring hair gave me 5 years of bad hair.
