We booked with them to clean on a Saturday afternoon and explained to Jason Alexander that we had booked a uhaul to move later that day so we would need a team of people, not just one person. He reassured us that for the $240 deep clean it would be 3 people and since our house was empty it shouldn't take long. Since we were moving from Philly to NJ I asked if I could leave the door unlocked since the house was empty and we were moving that day with a small child. He said no I needed to be there to do a walk through the house with the cleaning team. I arranged for a sitter for my son as noon is is nap time and headed to NJ to let the cleaners in. To my surprise they were a no show. I waited about 20 min then called Jason Alexander who sounded like he just woke up from a nap. I explained I had driven to NJ to let the cleaners in and he said something along the lines of oh, yeah my bad, they called out. I immediately started panicking as the house was dirty and we needed it cleaned as we were moving in that day, which he knew. He was very nonchalant about people not wanting to work and it's hard running a business when people don't want to work. Well that doesn't explain why he didn't call me so I could make arrangements with proper notice about people calling out. I shouldn't have to call him after our scheduled appointment that he already took a deposit for $160.00, to have him tell me then. Not to mention his tune completely changed from over eager and singing praises about his cleaning company when we booked, to "the best he can do is rebook us or give us $15 off. Which is ironic bc his website charges $50.00 if you are late for your appointment and you have to reschedule. I had to literally beg him over the phone to find someone to clean our house because all of our furniture was getting moved in later that day. He kept saying how times are hard, people don't want to work, it's hard to run a business, it was a joke. And our backs were against the wall as he had our deposit already and it was now way past our appointment time with no one to clean our house. He finally found ONE person. Who they did a great job, that is why he is getting one star. She did 5 star work however, we were moving in while she was there as it was one person not a team of cleaners like he promised. So wet floors were being walked on as furniture was being moved into the house. She was cleaning while we were moving stuff in because that's the only choice we had. I wish I never went with this company. Or that they had the common decency to make me aware of the fact his team called out. AVOiD AT ALL COSTS!!!

I thought I wrote and posted a review before but probably was too busy enjoying what Buddy and his…read moreteam did for our backyard to realize it never went through! What they did to our home was nothing short of amazing. We had a full gut rehab and went over budget a good amount to where we couldn't finish the backyard. These gentlemen worked with our budget and even found gaps in our rehab project (roof leaks, bathroom finish, gutters/drains, etc) and even fixed those for us. Now I could say that alone would be a selling point, but no, there's more. They worked quickly and efficiently! They were punctual and communicative in every step of the way. On top of that, they are great people. No one that our family spoke with ever lied to us about something they would or could do and they always made sure to check in with us along the way. I wrap this up saying this. We had a terrible backyard, TERRIBLE! It looked like it could not be salvaged with all that needed to be done and getting things in and out of it. These men are miracle workers and will for sure be invited back to our home for the housewarming and whenever we need anything else as a contracting service! 6 Stars!

We wanted to make sure the house was pristine when we brought him home, and WOW did they deliver! Even though we were cutting it close, they were willing to work out their schedule to accommodate us in time, which was a real lifesaver because my son arrived almost two weeks early! We've continued with their service for about a year now, and they've been consistently wonderful, not only in terms of the quality of the clean but also in terms of the interpersonal engagements with Jenn, the owner, as well as her entire team. Our schedule sometimes calls for some extra flexibility, which Jenn's team is always able to accommodate, and no matter which members of the team end up on our schedule we know we're in good hands. Recently, Jenn and her partner Jerry came along on our cleaning as they orientating a couple recent additions to the team. From my home office, I could hear Jerry giving guidance and tips and was impressed with the little addition insights and touches that Top 2 Bottom brings to the process. Towards the end of the cleaning, I took the dogs for a walk and carried them up to a bathroom to dry their feet since I wanted to maintain the perfect clean. While I was toweling off their feet, my eye was drawn to the shower in a way you'd only see in a movie or a meme; it was mostly behind me, but out of the corner of my eye the shine of the clean struck me. It was such a simple thing but WOW it really blew me away how bright and clean the grout was. When I headed to the nursery, I found a great surprise which I snapped a photo of and was about to send to my wife when I realized I should let her discover it for herself. I had a work engagement that evening, and was en route when I got the call from my wife. Our son's Mickey and Minnie Mouse had been staged to look like they were reading together in the nursery chair. It was the sort of "surprise and delight" touch that Disney World itself aspires to, and it really did surprise and delight my wife. Our dimmable lighting had been set to pleasing levels throughout the house, and as always the cleaning was just perfect. I couldn't recommend this company highly enough!

We had just sold our home to an FHA buyer and were beginning to go through the contingency period…read more I was expecting that our roof would get flagged by either the home inspector or the FHA appraiser, as it was 9 years old and we had never done anything to maintain it. There were no leaks, or anything visibly wrong that we could see, but I started to reach out to roofers anyway to see if they could just come out to look at my roof and let me know what, if anything, needed to be done. I got an email from Derrick the same day I submitted a request for an estimate through the website. He said he'd be glad to come out and have a look and let me know what needed to be done. He ended up not being able to come out for over a week, because it rained pretty much every single day. But in the meantime, during that week, I got estimates back from two other roofers, and the home inspection was completed. The two other roofers both gave me quotes for full roof replacement, full skylight replacement, and all kinds of stuff I wasn't expecting to need, totaling over $2500. But when Derrick got back to me with his estimate, it was almost $2000 cheaper - and I had to do a double take! I thought for sure he'd left off a 1 at the beginning or something. I had been bracing myself to shell out thousands of dollars for a new roof. But then I read his estimate, and compared it to the home inspector's report that I'd just gotten back, and guess what? The items that the home inspector said we needed to address were the EXACT SAME ITEMS that Derrick said we needed to address (aka NOT a new roof - just some maintenance to extend the life). I can't even begin to tell you the amount of relief I felt! I even exchanged emails with Derrick to make sure - to really make sure - that this was correct. I sent him the inspector's report, and he confirmed that his estimate would address everything the inspector was asking us to address. I even sent him another one of the roofer's estimates, which had pointed out something about delaminated plywood sheathing, and asked if he'd noticed anything else like that up there. He said he didn't but he'd be happy to have another look. He came back the next day and completed the job! Completed - the job - the next day! Another thing I should mention is that he included pictures of my roof in his email to me with the estimate attached, and no other roofer I contacted did this. He sent me 'after' pictures when the work was completed and I was able to clearly see what work was performed and that it was indeed complete. I can't say enough good things about this company - it was such a pleasure to work with someone like Derrick at a time when, as sellers, we are most vulnerable to being taken advantage of to simply get through the contingency period. It was refreshing to know that we were dealing with an honest tradesman, which seems to be a rarity these days. I was so impressed with his honesty and work that I shared his name and number with my realtor. She said whenever she sells a house in Philly, she has a hard time recommending a roofer because she's had so many bad experiences. I hope this ends up bringing Derrick more business. Nice work - keep it up - you get more flies with honey!!
