They stated that they would need to see the property before they could provide pricing, which allowed me to feel comfortable with their estimations. We needed help hanging our Thule rack in the garage, and with our tall ceilings, we wanted it done professionally. Alex arrived right on time, completed the job faster than expected, and was respectful of our home and space throughout. Everything looks great! We'll absolutely be using Handy Goose again and won't hesitate to recommend them to others. Great experience from start to finish!

Our community paid this company 12 grand to install a retractable gate for our parking lot. After…read moreseveral breakdowns within the first few weeks of operation, they would send subcontractors to fix it who would often no-show for the appointments. The day after our one-year warranty expired, the gate stopped working completely and Delta would not answer the phone or return calls from members or our community. We had to contact a different company, who showed us that the installation was actually defective as Delta installed a bar that was too short, and as a result could not keep a vital component in place properly. Now we have to pay for a costly repair and our lot is wide open for creeps and bums to skulk around late at night. In the last week we've had a break-in to one of our cars, and a criminal on the run attempt to ditch his gun. Thanks Delta!

Now most will say "You know you can just call them." And my response is "Oh so you like companies that say they offer something and they do not really offer the items?" It's as if everyone's ok with a business motto of: We tell you what you want to hear but we don't deliver what we said we would." That matters. The answer to the other question "Why not just call them to tell them?" Because I have calls out to 10 other business websites about problems on their sites. People just do not give a crap anymore. There are broken websites everywhere.

I don't usually write reviews, and I understand every experience can be different, but I felt…read morestrongly enough about this one to share. I initially called this company simply to get a quote/estimate. Instead of answering my question, the receptionist immediately asked for my address and availability and scheduled me for a service window. I had to clarify multiple times that I did NOT want to commit to anything yet, as I was only looking for an estimate and didn't want to risk being charged. I was eventually told that a technician could come out and provide an estimate before any commitment to service or payment. The technician did arrive within the scheduled window, which I appreciated. However, things went downhill quickly. Instead of trying to open my garage door using the interior switch, he forcefully pushed the door open. As a result, my garage door is now completely stuck open when originally it was only about one-third open. This alone was extremely frustrating. From there, the interaction became very uncomfortable. I was at work and had arranged for my father to meet the technician, since I wasn't home. I made it clear that I was only looking for an estimate and was not prepared to make a same-day decision. Despite this, the technician repeatedly pressured me to decide immediately, saying he had other customers to get to and he cannot wait around. He also made comments that were very off-putting, such as saying my job was "too small" (under $300) for him to come back another day, and that the company would not return if I didn't agree to the service on the spot. This completely contradicted what I was told when I first called. At one point, when I asked reasonable questions about whether fixing just the pulley could lead to other issues, he became impatient and dismissive. He kept repeating that he "already gave you your two options, change all parts for $525 or just the pulley for $250" and "wouldn't know until he fixed it," even though I was simply trying to understand my options. He also said things like, "Did you look at our website? We have over 500 5-star reviews," which came across as dismissive rather than reassuring. To compare, I called another company later that same day and specifically asked if I could get an estimate and decide later. They had no issue with that and told me I could absolutely call back when I was ready. To be clear, the price quoted here was not bad. My issue is not with the cost but with the experience. The technician's attitude, the pressure to make an immediate decision, and the way my situation was handled turned what should have been a simple estimate into a very negative experience. I'm sharing this so other customers know what to expect.

Later that same evening, he texted that he showed the pictures to his partner and they "needed" another $1000 to complete the job. Texted Zack back, saying I wasn't comfortable working with someone who changes their price after a signed agreement. Said he could keep travel expenses and return the rest of the deposit. He claimed he had already bought all the supplies. Who buys supplies when they are told the job was on hold? Anyway, they are evidently going to keep my $500. Fine, I have a stucco guy I can trust and am still $1500 ahead.
