    Kanookie

Great cafe in Kanab. The staff were friendly and food came out fast. Grilled cheese was perfectly toasted and paired well with the soup. Tried the Kanookie which was also very good. I'm usually a fan of a regular chocolate chip cookie but I actually preferred their double chocolate cookies (both regular and in the kanookie). Depending on the time of day and size of your group seating inside could possibly be an issue. Street parking out front (free).

The ice cream here was suuuuper yummy! I had a pina colada flavor single scoop in a cake cone, and it was the perfect refreshing dessert on a hot summer day in Kanab. The shop itself is super cute, and while we ate our ice cream we looked at all the goods they also sell there. The service was also quite friendly, and we felt welcomed from the moment we came in to the moment we left. Next time we are in Kanab, we will be back!

This is the spot after a long hike! We came out here after a long day of exploring and this was definitely the right place to go! The space gave the energy we needed to keep going on our trip! The staff was welcoming and the space was cozy! The grilled cheese was served hot, gooey, crispy, and delicious! Not pictured cause we quickly ate it was the cookies and ice cream, it's a must seriously you will miss out if you skip it

Such an awesome place! Staff is super nice and the building itself is super nice and inviting. Breadsticks were some of the best ever, and the grilled cheese was great for only being $6. Ice cream was solid, I got Cookie Monster and it tasted good but the texture was a little off. Still great overall though. It's a popular spot among the locals and does get crowded at times though, so just try not to go during peak dinner hours.

We were wandering the streets of Kanab looking for a light dinner. Our prayers were answered when we checked out Brown Box. In addition to being a popular ice cream spot they have a tempting array of dinner choices. We got the 3 way combo of salad and soup and cookie. Add a grilled cheese sandwich and we had all we needed for $20. Perfect! The young staff is enthusiastic and efficient. Highly recommended .

We got the ice cream and the flavors were good, service was friendly but my husband said the ice cream had ice chunks in it like it was slightly freezer burned. They have tables outside. Very dog friendly!

My wife and I are here the other day after a long day of hiking and driving. We wanted to stop somewhere simple and inexpensive. This place fit the bill! Be sure to try their ice cream served on a fresh cookie!

Friendly staff, cute little shop, located right on the main street of town. We got two scoops of ice cream, Cadbury egg and peanut butter. The Cadbury egg was unique and I loved it! Big, generous scoops. Parking available in the back if you can't find street parking up front. We will be back!

Stopped by this ice cream shop after a short hike. Ice cream was tasty and the service was good. The nice young man was nice and polite as well. The inside is nicely lit and decorated. The cookie was warm and freshly made. A nice hidden ice cream shop in kanab.

Met with a smile and a greeting! Order at the counter and find your seat. Went straight old school with the classic grilled cheese on sourdough and tomato soup. Great pull on the grilled cheese with the combo of cheddar and muenster. Tomato basil soup was as comforting as you expect tomato soup to be. Great space with some gift items and cozy decor.

We stopped for lunch and ice cream and are SO glad we did. Seriously one of the best grilled cheeses I've ever had. We ordered the Gourmet (standout rosemary flavor) and the Popper (jalapeño). We finished with the ice cream flight of Dirty Oreo, Andes Mint, Pistachio, and Key Lime Sorbet. Food was delicious and prices were fair. The staff was friendly and the restaurant itself was very cute!

Cute ice cream parlor. I've come here for ice cream many times and tried most of the flavors. The price is good and the staff is friendly. There is plenty of seating too. I've never tried any of the savory food items yet, but the smell in here is SO GOOD! They also sell stickers and small gifts so I've bought many stickers from here.

What a cute bakery! We came here twice on visits to Zion and have enjoyed pretty much everything…read morewe've tried here. Plus, service is really friendly, parking is super easy, and prices are very reasonable! We tried the Bumbleberry Pie, Bumbleberry Turnover, Bumbleberry Pie Hole, and Bumbleberry Crunch ice cream. Everything was pretty good, besides the pie hole, which I thought had too high of a crust:filling ratio. You can order the pie either as a whole pie or a slice. It looked like it's a mix of blueberries and blackberries, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Super good. The ice cream was also delicious. They give color-changing spoons, which my kids loved. And the turnover was good even eating it the next morning. They also sell other goodies like fudge, popcorn (many flavors), and whole coffee beans. And the places to sit are so cute! They are connected to the gift shop, so it was easy to buy some ice cream and eat it while browsing the gift shop.

Perfect spot after a long day hiking in Zion!! They are located not too far from the park entrance…read more(not walkable though). The workers were extremely friendly and the line moved really quickly. So many yummy flavors that it was hard to choose which one! There's a few cute ice cream themed tables/chairs to sit and eat your ice cream and the walls are filled with history of the building. It's also connected to a shop for perusing after your snack.

Jacob (I think that was his name??) was our server, he was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu and area. Another gal that worked there was very nice and chatty, it was fun talking to locals about the place/area. My husband and I ordered the mushroom and swiss burger with fries to split. They brought it out on two plates, already split-I loved that! The fries were hot and delish. The burger was as one of the best I have had, cooked to perfection and super juicy. It's a fun stop, shopping, great food and are known for their giant cookies so try to work that in as well.

04/16/26 Delicious…read morecookies and friendly employees. We were greeted with a smile and friendly conversation. I was disappointed there were not more flavor choices, however the four that were available were delicious. Our favorite was the Chocolate Parfait. It looked liked a scoop of ice cream which intrigued me even more. We went right outside and ate two of the cookies right away. We broke the Chocolate Parfait in half and the chocolate was ooey gooey perfection. My husband loved it so much, we went back inside and bought the last one. We were so full after just two cookies that we took the others with us. We saved the Chocolate Parfait for the next day and unfortunately it wasn't the same as eating it right at the time of purchase. The other three cookies I think would taste just as good a day or less later, but don't wait to eat the Chocolate Parfait cookie. The magic in this cookie is immediate consumption.
