They're open Mon-Sat 9 AM-11PM, AND SUNDAYS 12-8 PM. 10% off wines every Tuesday. If you can't find it here, it doesn't exist! The array of product is enormous, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I went in to find one quick item, but got sucked in by the huge variety (and I love looking at creative and artsy labels) and left 2 hours later! A couple of current specials that caught my low-budget attention were 1.75 L Bacardi Rum Silver or Gold for $17.99, and 1.75 L Jim Beam Bourbon for $23.99... perfect for making my infamous Bourbon (aka Drunken) Cranberries for the holidays! The store is very well organized, with signage above all the shelves to make it easy to find the product you want. And I love any liquor store that has a good array of inexpensive ($0.40- $0.99) mini/airline bottles, and they have a LOT, also including some you don't usually see, like Chambord, but those are more expensive. The entire back wall is a 47-door refrigerated section, with a lot of space allocated to beer for every palate and budget. Lots of wine too, and so much more! If you want service and a fantastic selection then head over to Brown Bag. Several times they have helped me find exactly what I am looking for no matter how unique it was. Their staff always seems happy to be there and happy to assist. They feature a giant walk in beer cave with the normal fridges and a fantastic wine and spirits section. They also offer free samples on a very regular basis, even on Fridays. Another thing about this place is they decorate for Halloween and that makes it a desirable place to bring my daughter with so she can spend some time with me. They even have suckers behind the counter for little ones, just like I used to get when I went with my dad. read more

Came here literally by searching on Yelp for a store as I needed to pick up some beverages for a visit to a friend's house. I'll be the first to admit the name did not inspire confidence, but my needs were modest and I didn't need a mega liquor outlet to accommodate. Any doubts disappeared as I parked the car in the lot. Holy cow, this place is gynormous! And inside it's a virtual cornucopia of everything you could imagine in adult beverages. I cruised the single malt isle and was measurably impressed as I exited with my 6-pack of Spaten Optimator, not an easy beer to find in these parts. Yes, they've moved well beyond the good 'ol boy Natty Lite selection. Adult beers or the utmost quality and beyond. Massive wine selection. Unlikely I'll return as I'm rarely in this area of Olathe, but I can recommend it quite highly. Good for you, little suburb of JoCo for hosting a respectable liquor store that's about as good as any in the metro area I've visited. read more

My husband and I moved here from the west coast and didn't expect to entertain in a new area. Kansas sure surprised us and we are hosting on a regular basis. It's an ok liquor store but the guys that work there are jerks every single time I go in there the manager feels the need to say something rude to me. I went here even with the bad review and was treated above and beyond. Not all reviews can be trusted and I am glad I went here. I am disabled and am unable to walk very far. The lady at the cash register not only helped me with what I needed for national margarita day but went and got the products for me. Talk about service. She helped me figure out how many servings it would make and showed me the recipe on the mix bottle...I haven't a clue how to make these just winging it. I used to love to go to Brown Bag when it was located on Santé Fe and Hwy 7, the staff always offered to help me with my purchase and accompany me to my car. Since they moved to the new location, there is no offer of help and I'm asked if I want them in a bag. Four glass bottles in a bag with no separation between them is not a good idea. I asked for another bag to separate them and the clerk handed me a single bottle bag and then he just stood there and watched me struggle with this awkward package as the bottles jiggled within. read more
