Well, they're not friendly, though they are a good fake friendly if you just want to get something and leave...but don't converse. One of the guys that runs it actually lectured me about just coming to get my beer or talking. I simply asked if he works there all the time open to close since I see the same guy no matter what time I show up. Since I'm there sometimes regularly and sometimes not, I must have asked him that question a couple times before. I was just trying to have friendly conversation. He lectured me the whole time he was checking me out of "the other guys " hours if I was trying to see that guy or something and how I should just buy what I want and leave. He said I ask the same question about how long he works every time I'm there. I'm getting older, so it's entirely likely I have said the same thing, but not every time and I certainly don't want a lecture of what type of customer I should be. I have gone to the store sine the early 90's. It's had a few owners. Most all of them friendly local community conscious people. These guys could care less about the community, or customers, or people in general. I will not be going back under current ownership and anyone who lives local i recommend boycotting them until new owners take over when they have to sell or just close. If you don't care. It's fine to just get what you want and leave. They have no interest in talking to you.

Not just by a day or two, but WEEKS or even a MONTH past the expired date on the bottles. This issue is not limited to just one brewery/distributor, but something I've seen with many different labels in-store. A tell-tale sign is when they are still selling winter seasonals like the Deschuttes Red Chair in mid May! On four different occasions I have brought this to the attention to the store mgr on duty, to no avail. The latest incident involved expired Green Flash and Deschuttes labels. Buyer beware! They have a fairly decent selection (not as good as Lukas, but better than the typical neighborhood store) and fairly typical prices, but apathetic Management that would rather sell expired craft beer to us than deal with a clearly recurring problem. A couple of current specials that caught my low-budget attention were 1.75 L Bacardi Rum Silver or Gold for $17.99, and 1.75 L Jim Beam Bourbon for $23.99... perfect for making my infamous Bourbon (aka Drunken) Cranberries for the holidays! The store is very well organized, with signage above all the shelves to make it easy to find the product you want. And I love any liquor store that has a good array of inexpensive ($0.40- $0.99) mini/airline bottles, and they have a LOT, also including some you don't usually see, like Chambord, but those are more expensive.
