Do they have the largest selection of alcoholic beverages or some prolific yet harder to find labels? No, but they have enough of the best-selling names to meet most demands. They have a good selection in their refrigerators meaning a lot of their popular white wine or champagnes are already chilled. I know the store has other amenities however I didn't explore them so I can't speak on those. This is my home base of adult beverage operations but the fact they have a good selection and close by. When I come in, I can shop with full confidence they'll have what I need. I highly suggest visiting them if you live close by or just passing through.

In hindsight I should have set the bottle of wine on the counter and left, but I was so shocked at his rudeness and did not want to scare my daughter further by making a scene, so I paid and left. I will never go back even though we live close-by. They are never busy and their shelves are not well-stocked. There are two other places within a mile of Top Cellars to take my business and I will be going there from now on.

Since I'm there sometimes regularly and sometimes not, I must have asked him that question a couple times before. I was just trying to have friendly conversation. He lectured me the whole time he was checking me out of "the other guys " hours if I was trying to see that guy or something and how I should just buy what I want and leave. He said I ask the same question about how long he works every time I'm there. I'm getting older, so it's entirely likely I have said the same thing, but not every time and I certainly don't want a lecture of what type of customer I should be. I have gone to the store sine the early 90's. It's had a few owners. Most all of them friendly local community conscious people. These guys could care less about the community, or customers, or people in general. I will not be going back under current ownership and anyone who lives local i recommend boycotting them until new owners take over when they have to sell or just close. If you don't care. What frustrates me is that this happened to me again on my last visit. This time I went for a local multi pack from Martin City and I couldn't find an expiration date anywhere on the outside packaging but I thought surely it won't happen again. How wrong I was. Had I noticed in the parking lot I would have returned but it wasn't worth my gas to go back so we drank them despite some potential flavor being off and I'm now fully committed to checking expiration dates on everything I touch in this store. So the long and short of this is that it's a nice, big, clean store with massive inventory and good deals.
