The WORST experience ever, I went for a eyebrow threading to clean underneath eyebrows and came out with pencil thin brows. I have been trying to grow / thicken my eyebrows for so long. .They were so rude and defensive when I was shocked to see my brows, blaming me for not telling them. Ladies, unless you want your eyebrows , reshaped, trimmed and to disappear, make sure you tell the them not touch the shape, thickness or trim. ONLY clean underneath. I had other services booked but decided not to continue appointment as so upset and they so rude. They could care less about my business and were happy for me just to walk out!?! read more

I got my brows waxed and tinted here yesterday and the skin was ripped from my eye area in three places. I've had my brows waxed several different occasions and places and this has NEVER happened. I was in shock and pain so I quickly paid and left without too much fuss. But after having a day to process and research why it happened, I'm upset enough to leave a bad review. First off all, my eyebrows were each wiped once before being waxed. No other prep was done. She applied the wax under my brows two times each side. Apparently that's a big no no. Didn't know it at the time since it had never happened before. I'm not sure if the wax wasn't warm enough or just not good enough quality to take the hairs out the first time. And there really weren't a lot of hairs to even remove. After realizing what she had done, she didn't tell me what happened even though she later admitted to seeing it right away, but instead just switched to threading above my left brow. Then she quickly wiped the area and applied the tint and told me it would be 7-8 minutes wait and then walked away. By this time my brows are burning, but I thought maybe it was just a reaction from the tint. She finally came back and wiped it off and then I looked in the mirror and saw what had happened. I was in shock. Wondering out loud what could have happened. I mentioned a cream I've been using that is keeping my face more exfoliated but immediately realized that couldn't be it because I don't put the cream on my eyelids. But she immediately latched on to that idea and started repeatedly telling me I shouldn't ask for a wax again. (Side note- when I came in, I asked her opinion on whether I should get waxed or threaded and she said wax.) Then we check out the tint. My eyebrows were not even in shape or darkness. I had her take off the extra in between my eyes in the right side because it was so obvious but I was really just in a hurry to get out of there and put something on my skin to stop it from stinging. She put aloe Vera on earlier but it made them hurt worse. Once I got home I removed the rest of the extra tint that had been left behind. Not once did she apologize and when I paid she even turned the tablet around for a tip. Part of what really upsets me is that she kept telling me I should never ask for wax again- even though I kept telling her this has never happened before. Zero accountability or remorse. read more

I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for years and when it was time to get them cleaned up and reshaped, I went searching for a place. This place caught my eye online and it's easily found in Town Center. I really like how well lit it is inside and how clean it is. It was really clean pre-COVID-19 and continues to be during COVID-19. Also I think their price is hard to beat. I only get my eyebrows threaded and it's $13. Usually I just walk in and I'm always either the only customer or only one person is already there being serviced. It doesn't get crowded which is nice. There is only one lady working but one time I went there and she had another girl helping her. I honestly don't mind if I ever have to wait because I would rather have my eyebrows threaded than waxed. I really hope this place continues to stay in business during COVID-19 since it's a good place to go. If you like getting your eyebrows threaded, check this place out! THRILLED that a brow place has returned to Town Center. $12 for a brow threading that lasts about 4 weeks. What a deal! I also got my brows and lashes tinted, but I probably won't again. The brow color was nice but because it's so dark I can't use any products on top of it or I look like Groucho Marx, and while I saw a slight difference in the color of my lashes it wasn't enough to justify the uncomfortable burning sensation I felt during the process, plus I felt like I still needed to add mascara, so the lash tinting wasn't the time saver I'd anticipated it being. But I'll definitely be back for a threading. I just think threading makes my brows look more precise than waxing. read more

Was in Overland Park for work and needed some maintenance! Coming from California I was looking for a fabulous threading place and this place fit the bill. It's in a cute shopping mall and the inside is small but beautifully decorated. They did a wonderful job on my brows and was. It was my fault for coming to get my eyebrows done here for the first time a few days before my wedding, but I came here to get my eyebrows and upper lip threaded and left with a good portion of one eyebrow missing-even though I specifically requested two or three times at the start that I didn't want anything too thin, just a clean up. (The other eyebrow was left more or less in tact, so they were uneven. She offered to take more off the remaining eyebrow to make them match, but I declined.) I have had my eyebrows threaded for years and have never once left with 20-30% of one eyebrow missing. I also now have a very slight bloody cut (it looks like a tiny paper cut) from the threading-this is also something I've never experienced at any brow studio before. I am hoping the makeup will cover the red laceration but I did my best to hold back my tears as I left the place. She charged me full price. The upper lip was fine though. read more

As I have gotten older my eyebrows are harder to groom. I do not have the time or patience so I researched lamination. The Brow Studio popped up on my search and had great reviews so after doing my own research on lamination from multiple sites I walked into Brow Studio. I was warmly greeted and helped without an apportionment however I recommend doing so online. The space is beautifully decorated and very clean. For my first time I just wanted to consult about lamination and then get my brows cleaned up with plans to do lamination on my next visit. She confirmed what I had researched and informed me of their process. She agreed I was a great candidate because my brows have started growing in different directions, thank you 40s! For my short visit to hold me over until I could get in a 45 minute lamination visit we decided on eyebrow tinting and threading. This was my first time threading and it is uncomfortable but fast. I found I wasn't as red afterward like I am with waxing. They are careful to prep your skin before and soothe it afterward. I will be a regular customer here. read more
