Wonderful experience!! I booked a piercing switch out because I had an MRI so had to remove my daith for the first time and couldn't for the life of me get the ball to fit back in. As soon as I walked in, it smelled heavenly, the ladies working were so warm and welcoming and the place felt so nice, clean and calm. The piercer was extremely quick and so gentle. I will definitely be back for my next piercing, as I hadn't yet found someone around KC since I've moved and they made me feel so comfortable from just a short experience I did have! Thank you!! read more

100% recommend this place!! I got my industrial piercing here and it was super quick! Jennifer was so nice to me and even complimented my eyeliner which was so sweet. There was calming music playing which helped so much to relax me during the process. I'm definitely planning on coming back! read more

very nice ! jennifer did my navel piercing and she was so kind and patient with me! 10/10 recommend. :)

Jennifer is absolutely AH*MAZE*ZING!!!! I went in for a consultation for a piercing and just had a good ole fabulous first-time meet & greet. I got a really cool piercing and didn't feel uncomfortable or like I was just a number to get in and out. Thank you, Jennifer! read more

Cathy is phenomenal, my experience has been rejuvenating, very relaxing attentive and she is v knowledgeable .

I've had plenty of spray tans in my life, but this was probably the best experience that I've had. I booked on short notice and when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised that they were ready for me! The ladies that work there are so nice and FUNNY! Jennifer A. gave me my spray tan and she made me feel comfortable to get a spray nude (my first ever). She is very professional; she took her time to make sure that I would be happy with my tan and touched up all the spots with her foam brush - where you generally get "caked on" tanning solution. I will be a returning customer because my tan turned out beautifully. (I have olive skin, brown hair, and brown eyes for reference - and I chose the "Espresso Bronzed") read more

I definitely recommend Bronzed N Beautiful because they did such a fantastic job piercing my daughter's ears! We took my daughter to Jennifer to have her ears pierced for the first time because the various options we had tried were not great experiences all of the way around. Jennifer was so kind and made the experience fantastic even though this was my daughter's first time getting pierced. We will definitely be back! read more

1st time getting a spray tan and it was a great experience! I felt totally comfortable and very welcomed. The tan came out beautifully! I was given after care instructions but left the paper on the counter when I left. They sent them via text before I even called to ask! Will def be returning ! read more

I got my first nose piercing done! Thank you so much to the staff for being so nice and creating a comfortable and welcoming environment.

I wanted a hair makeover. I had gotten bored with my layers and wasn't getting enough of a change from my regular stylist. I decided to try Natalie at Bronzed & Beautiful. I was not disappointed. She is awesome! She is a very knowledgable stylist and knows HAIR. She is very thoughtful about the style she creates. She is also a very nice person and I really enjoyed our chat while she was working away on me. I am looking forward to going back when the weather warms up for a shorter Summer Do! read more

Spa day was a success. I was driving by and decided to see if they could fit me in their busy schedule. Jenn was at the front and from the moment I stepped inside she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. The spa smells so delicious you want to stay all day. I got an invigorating facial and got an amazingly gorgeous spray tan. Jenn knows her stuff and taught me how to extend my golden glow until I could make it back in for my next session. The spray tan was quick and dried fast too which was suprising to me. I was afraid I would ruin my cute dress but it didn't. Jenn was so amazing I booked her for the next few months every other week. I wanna stay looking like this bronzed goddess Jenn has transformed me into. She is so wonderful a spray tan and facial appointment turned into me booking her to mocroblade my eyebrows which was the best decision beauty wise I've ever made. She is a queen of aesthetics and can make you feel more beautiful than ever or even just put you in this relaxing and pure comfortable place that you will want to return for another round. I promise you. Bronzed and beautiful if that's something you want in your life. Book Jenn. I DID and I am never letting her go. She makes me look too good!!! read more

My 10yo got her ears pierced and had a great experience, appreciate the calm professionalism we received.

Melinda was OUTSTANDING! extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. I got a Spray Tan for my wedding this weekend and I've never had anything like this! Amazing!!! Don't waste your money on spray tanning anywhere else. This is the spot! read more

Cathy is an artist! She really takes time to make sure that your tan looks perfect. I've had spray tans before with telltale signs of lines around the wrists or streaking on my legs...but here they're done with perfection. I would come to get my spray tan here no matter what the price, but lucky for me it's also super affordable! I was going to try the winter glow because I'm pretty white in the winter, but the signature to be perfect for me. read more

I came back home to KC for a visit and needed an airbrush tan before a wedding...I looked on Yelp to find a convenient place, and went in using their $10 off Yelp check in deal. I couldn't be more happy that I did! I have received countless tans in Chicago, and this was by far the best color and most even application I have ever had. I asked my technician to go SUPER light since I'm fair skinned, and she did two light applications. She and the owner were so nice and made the whole process comfortable from start to finish. : ) It didn't smell funky and was such a pretty color...it's not fading funny either which is a bonus. Highly recommend, can't wait to go back! -Carley read more

I had the best experience with Bronzed n Beautiful. Cathy is super helpful and did a great job applying my tan! She pays attention to detail and gave plenty of helpful tips on how to keep it lasting the full 10 days. I got the tan made specifically for weddings and sweat resistant for a wedding I was in. I had multiple people compliment me on my tan and it looks amazing in pictures. Will definitely use her again! read more

One of my favorite spray tans EVER! She was so sweet and did an amazing job. DEF get the finishing powder!! It makes all the difference!

It was my first time getting a spray tan. Cathy was great! She made me me feel comfortable and the tan was perfect.

I had very bad experience there ... If you want to do Brazilian wax, find another place.. It was very expensive, the lady was not professional at all ... She left some wax on my ass and leg ... I messed up with my jeans after and couldn't get rid of that wax .. I had to use even peeling ... I was sticky everywhere ... And she didn't wax everything , so I had to shave after ... The stuff there is very friendly but I came there not to make some friends .. Maybe other things they do good but I don't recommend waxing at all, I would better do by myself ... The price doesn't mean that the service is good.. read more

First time there and wasn't disappointed. Cathy was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly, informative, and knew what she was doing. She made me feel extremely comfortable and walked me through my entire experience. When I left she offered me product but I liked that she wasn't pushy about it. My only negative comment is the cleanliness of the room. It could use a dusting. I'm just a clean freak however so not everyone would notice this. read more

Cathy is the best! I did a lot of research before trying somewhere new for a facial & the prices were reasonable, & after my first visit I knew I'd be coming back. Cathy is very friendly & fun to talk to & she always has great tips on skin care. I struggle with acne and the last two times I have seen her my skin clears up shortly after thanks to her knowledge & care. I look forward to going back again! read more

Kathy was so great and welcoming! I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. sill definitely be back.

Had my very first spray tan done ever with Cathy and she did a fantastic job not only on the actual spray tan but also at making me feel comfortable. Such an even, long lasting spray tan that made me feel confident for a bachelorette trip! read more

I was told by Cathy black skin they could treat for dark spots. After many treatments and $100's of dollars worth of products/treatments (my opinion snake oil) still no change. My skin got darker and grayish tone. I should of ask if products were approved by FDA. I just stopped going and got advice/cream from my doctor which worked in weeks. I quietly went away figuring this place just not for me until I kept getting messages to come back. After ignoring the "specials" and pleads to come back I decided to let her know that her treatments didn't work. In my opinion this is just a place to get steamed rags N lotion rubbed on face and a bit of chit chat. The face is the first thing ppl see and should not be treated from someone who is clueless. I even went in for removal of blackheads. No good still. I can afford to treat myself well whatever the cost but treatments/products need to work but this place totally missed the mark. Just a warning to others trust the results you see before continuously spending money on NO results. So some advice don't be condescending in response to one's dismay. You ask for it and got it. Not only black skin I could of recommended to your spa but many different types of skin colors. I'll look for the unopened cream and post but I'm sure I just threw away. Take care. read more

This was my first time getting a spray tan. I was a little scared to try it out just cause I've heard a lot of spray tan gone bad stories but Natalie made it a great first experience. AWESOME experience, would definitely recommend Bronzed n Beautiful for your SAFE long lasting golden spray tan :)

I've been to this salon a couple times and got a wax, body scrub, and winter glow tan. I got all of these with Cathy. The wax was the best wax I've ever had. The body scrub was nice before the spray tan because there are areas that are hard to exfoliate yourself. I got the winter glow tan because I am very fair and I didn't want a normal tan. I just wanted a little color to even out the redness in my skin. Overall it looked very nice. The formula is a little sticky so you will be a little sticky for a few hours afterwards, which is totally normal. If you're getting the spray before and event I would be careful about what bra you wear leading up to the event. I don't wear a bra until the next day, but there are very very slight lines where I did. Next time I will wear a strapless bra before wearing my strapless dress. So for the day of and day after I would wear the loosest clothes you have and I wouldn't wear anything that might give you a line where you don't want one if you're getting ready for an event. My tan was applied very evenly and I was so impressed with how good my hands, wrists, feet, knees, and ankles looked. Those areas can go not well, but they looked great. There was one area on my leg that was slightly darker, but no one but me noticed. Cathy is so warm, nice to talk to, and really cares about giving you the best possible service. I could not recommend her more highly. Overall, great experience. I have a bunch more services booked there already. read more

Absolutely fantastic service with Cathy! I came in complaining about all the other waxing experiences Ive had, which were extremely painful, and tore off more skin than hair. She patiently listened to me complain, and then proceeded to give me the most painless, non-irritating, thorough Brazilian Ive ever had. She has a way of making the whole thing feel like a relaxing spa experience, with a clean, well appointed room, music, oil diffuser, etc. I left the salon hair-free, and irritation-free. She also dyed my eyelashes, which felt like a spa treatment on its own. The salon is open late on weeknights, which is a must for anyone working a day job. Thank you Cathy! You are officially the first one to make me actually want to keep up with the 6-week waxes. read more

I don't get beauty treatments very often, since I'm a little on the shy side. But I was feeling kind of 'blegh' and decided to give this place a try for a quick facial and an eyebrow wax as a little pick me up. Glad I did! First of all, I love any place that lets me book online and plainly lists open time slots - it was very easy to find an available time that worked around my schedule. The place itself is a soothing, pleasant, comfortable space. My aesthetician, Cathy, was so extremely nice and immediately set me at ease. The facial and wax were both superb. I also appreciated that I got a list of the products that were used in my facial, without any kind of high-pressure sales pitch attached to it. She very specifically told me that my skin doesn't need a lot of product - hah, thanks! - and for the couple of recommendations I did get, I was only encouraged to look up the stuff online to see for myself what I thought, if I were so inclined. I love looking stuff online first! I felt understood. Last thing I'll mention is that checkout is entirely painless. I don't know if this sort of thing matters to anyone else, but I genuinely appreciate having the ability to tip without, ah, needing to make a big production out of it either way. You know? When I try a new place, I always dread that I'll get the receipt and there will be no place to add a tip if one is deserved, and then I have to do the awkward thing of asking. Not so, here! They'll check you out on a tablet, and the tip screen is just one of the screens that you go through and you can discreetly choose to add gratuity or not, no pressure either way. My larger point being, aside from the main services I received, which I felt were of terrific quality - this is a place that gets how to make the entire customer experience smooth and gentle from beginning to end. Thanks! read more

I've received about 20 facial or microdermabrasion services from Cathy. I highly recommend her as a friendly, gentle, calming, and skilled esthetician with years of experience and extensive knowledge. I've always felt she was honest with me about the current condition of my skin, the outcome I could realistically expect from a procedure, and only recommending products she genuinely thought would benefit my home care. She offers but does not push product sales. I've struggled with PCOS, with one symptom being extensive breakouts along the jawline. I finally became proactive by receiving biweekly microderms. This was a financial commitment on an educator's income, and I was beyond THRILLED when my skin gradually began clearing with the repeated exfoliation of the procedure! My confidence improved so much with clear skin for the first time in years! Cathy and I have discussed PCOS (an endocrine-gynecological condition affecting 15% of women of reproductive age), and she's told me of noticing potentially indicative patterns of acne and body hair growth in young female clients. Especially as PCOS is not well-known, she encourages they seek a physician's assessment. I appreciate her concern for clients' overall health rather than just their treatment that day. I return more occasionally now, but over the couple years I've patronized this spa, the environment has always been clean, pleasant, and not rushed, with services ready to begin on time. I'm disappointed that it's time to leave when I walk out the door. TIPS FOR POTENTIAL CLIENTS: --Online booking is easy. (However, if you don't receive a text confirmation, your booking may not have processed properly. I've encountered a couple kinks.) --Services are frequently available same-day, at least during weekdays. --As sometimes only one person is staffing the salon, phone calls may go to voicemail. They've sometimes had difficulty retrieving messages from me. --For the same reason, the door may be locked if you arrive extremely early for your appointment and the previous client's service is still underway. --Call ahead about forms of payment accepted if you want to use cash. I've always used a card to pay via their tablet, so I'm uncertain whether they accept cash. --NOW SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT, ALREADY :D read more
