I'm not gonna lie. Eyebrow threading hurts like H-E-L-L. This isn't something I would imagine doing in the bikini area...I mean HURTS. I've gotten my eyebrows threaded before, and meh, that's ok. It's the lip that will make you wince a little. This place isn't going to ease that pain, but they will thread the hell out of your face! Yeah, that's right. They do awesome eyebrow threading. I have a great place in Carrollton that I would go to, but really had to plan my day around it. This place is right down the street from my house. In case you don't know, I'm all about convenience. I want something right across the street if I can get it!!! So, if you are in the Plano area - this place is a must. They are pretty inexpensive and the girls do a great job. My first time getting my brows threaded, I decided to come here. I was anxious to say the least. I had made an appointment 2 days before for my lunch break. They took me immediately and had me sit in one of the chairs. The lady who threaded my brows was gentle but thorough and I didn't tell her it was my first time. It is slightly more painful than waxing but only because they can get those individual hairs which is what you want. Whole appointment took 7 minutes start to finish (including payment). Clean and cute little eyebrow shop. $10 for eyebrows is a bit steep but get the right eyebrow tech (Maya) and its worth it. Wish they were a more friendlier. Seem very stand offish in behavior and mannerism. -Sanitary and clean I like the fact that the girls always sanitize their hands and the seat between customers (I notice stuff like that) -Quick Went the first time and my sister recommend to ask for Maya. The first time was in The beginning of June and the wait time was about 15-20 minutes considering their were three people ahead of me. Been to other places where the wait time was 2x as long. But hey we gotta pay a price for beauty. They do let you sign in online and make appointments so you won't have to sit and wait. $10 $10 for eyebrows is a bit much! But maybe it's because I'm frugal and always looking for a deal. Plus I'm used to paying $10 for eyebrows plus tip at other places. Considering you should tip the girl be aware that it will cost you more than just $10. Reception/hostess 1st experience was lacking. No greetings. Just told us to sign i and that's it 2nd experience the receptionist (new one) was bubbly and sweet and greeted us with a smile and asked how we were from the start. (I guess politeness gets overlooked at times) It was such a contrast that my sister even commented on it to the receptionist and thanked her for being nice, now that is sad when someone has to thank you for showing basic consideration because that means that's not given often. read more

I appreciate how I can get in and out at Styles of India...while eyebrow threading can be more painful than waxing, it's just better for your skin underneath...Plus they are inexpensive... they have a loyalty program that if you get a certain # of visits/services you get a free eyebrow threading service. It's in a very convenient area too...right next to Super Target which i frequent a lot, so it fits right in with your errand running. read more

Have only had 1 bad experience- it was a younger girl who was threading so slowly, I could feel her pulling out each individual hair one-by-one (OUCH!). I've never had my eyebrows threaded before and I'm not sure I will again. Waxing is much faster and a lot less painful. The lady was very nice. She said since it was my first time it hurt more. Not so sure about that. My right side looks fine it's thicker than the left. I didn't want to argue or risk having to much taken off so I left it alone. I've been coming here for months since I moved here this past summer and they do a great job. I love going to Regina, she is truly the best. However, I came here Saturday for the first time in a couple of weeks and something has definitely changed. Everything was extremely rushed, I understand being busy but the customer still shouldn't have to feel that way. As I waited for my tint to set on my eyebrows, who I'm guessing is the manager, asked me to sit on a stool in the hallway so they could move another customer in. This hadn't happened before and felt rude. Instead of bringing me back into a chair to finish the appointment, they finish my eyebrows on the stool in the hallway. They weren't done to completion as when I got back into my car there was still a ton of dye left on my eyebrows. When I went to pay they didn't show me my rewards points like they have in the past. The last time I went it said I had enough for a free thread but I was saving them and then they are saying I didn't even have enough for that. The last thing was that I went to pay and the tip options were "40%" "45%" and "50%" which just felt very sneaky to me. I don't know if I'm a monster but I usually tip 20% and after this experience I didn't really want to but I did anyway. I'm not sure if there is new management here but they definitely need to be prioritizing the customer experience. read more

I've literally delayed going back to get them done just to try and grow back where the other girl made them too thin. She was able to clean them up and still work past the trouble spot. This threading was quick, less painful, and close! I don't have a hair on my upper lip left, even the ones very close to my actual lip. She was also fast and gentle. It wasn't painless, obviously, but she was much more careful than other threaders I've experienced. This place is almost double the price of threading in other Plano salons (the one in Patel Brothers, Asha Salon, AK Salon), but I've been to every single one of those, and they don't give you half the perfection SOI gives you. It's the perfect blend of Indian threaders and experience with western business practices (touchscreen computer to check in), so I'm willing to pay a little more. (Plus, this is West Plano, so they're rent is probably higher.) I got a coupon from their website for eyebrows+upper lip for $12. read more

First place I've been to for threading in the area. Nice,professional people. They listen to your needs. I got waxing,facial and eyebrows done there. The facial was so relaxing and well done with music in a dim lit room. All were done nicely,except that I think they double dip the wax. The ambience is nice and prices inexpensive to moderate. Parking is plenty. Some services might be better off with an appointment. Walk ins are welcome. Would recommend this place! Definitely better than a lot of other Indian salons out there. read more
