Y'all. I feel like a person again…read more My eyebrows were never destined for greatness before Heather. When I was 3, I was bit in the eye by a Dalmatian. As a result, I have slightly less tissue under my right eyebrow than my left. Combined with a roller skating accident that removed the top of my arch when I was 12, and my right eyebrow has always been sort of a rebel. It has frustrated aestheticians, make up artists, and brow threaders my entire life. If you look in the photos, I even marked where almost no eyebrow exists naturally. Heather fixed it all, and I didn't even feel it. After two sessions, I now leave the house without worrying about anything more than some eyebrow gel. Tweezing my eyebrows is 100x easier because I have a clear definition of what should be plucked. And the shape is so much more even. When I told Heather I wanted a bit stronger brow than average, she delivered it perfectly. The best part is no one can tell that I've had anything permanent done. When I mention it, they look confused, then closely look at my eyebrows in amazement. If you aren't familiar with microblading, it is semi-permanent strokes added into your natural brow to fill and correct shape and density. With Heather, I didn't feel a thing because she goes above and beyond to find topical products that work. And while the initial price tag might make you balk, it's the best deal you'll find in Austin and, IMO, the best person you'll find to do them. It really is an investment that pays off in time, confidence, and (if you used to churn through brow products), serious savings. I can't recommend the process or Heather enough. She chain smokes and I was actually really annoyed by it as it took A LOT longer to finish then it should have. On my second follow up appt Julie was 45 minutes late getting there which also really annoyed me. I had Julie give me a more bold top eyeliner to an already existing liner from years ago. It turned out okay, it wasn't exactly what I wanted. While she was doing my liner she then went to my eyebrows and started making some corrections without even asking me first. She basically said "oh sweetheart let me do you a favor". Well no favor was done as I had really dark brown tattoo on my eyebrows and she completely f-ed it up by putting a different color, a lighter brown that was almost peach tint when it healed. So now I have to pencil in my brows to cover up the bullshit color that she put there without even getting my permission to do so. If you research her online, her and her father have been sued for apparently giving someone Hepatitis during the procedure in the past. She claimed to me that she herself makes and sharpens her own needles. Her prices are ridiculous too. She is not the inventor like she claims to be and her ego also rubbed me the wrong way. I find that very hard to believe as I have been getting tattooed for years by others across the USA. I would not recommend her at all.

I have been looking for somewhere that could do my microblading because while my eyebrows were dark which made them appear thick, they really weren't and they were not the same shape at all. Julie mapped out my eyebrows and made sure to ask how I wanted my eyebrows to look and even asked for pictures of how I normally did them when I filled them in to get the best idea of what my goal was. Even after the mapping, she checked with me to make sure the shape I had was the one I wanted. Julie was able to use my face shape and how I do my makeup to create brows that are so natural looking that nobody knows that they aren't done 24/7. I turn to the lady massaging my head and asked if she was filming me and she said yes, I responded and said no I don't want to be filmed. After the massage was over she asked for our phone numbers to "approve or disapprove" the footage for her to use. I was so confused and annoyed and said no two times persistently, still she was trying to convince me by saying how she won't be using my face. I told her I don't want any footage of my head or anything and she looked almost baffled that I said that. Anyway I'm super frustrated with the way she was handling this whole filming thing, it seemed more important than the actual massage. At one point I even heard her say to the girl filming "one more time over here" while I was trying to relax. I have a good feeling they are going to use that footage anyway.
