The purpose of my visit to this salon was to clean up my eyebrows before a big family event. However, the lady that threaded my eyebrows made them extremely uneven. In fact, I looked very surprise on one side of my eyes. On the plus side, I didn't have to explain to my family members what I was doing wrong in life: my uneven / surprised eyebrows were enough to shut them up. I have been going here for the past year, but I agree with a previous reviewer: since they've hired more stylists the service has gotten inconsistent. I went in on a Monday hoping that my regular would be there (the young woman who wears a hijab -love her!), she was gone so I was seen by another stylist (the young Jlo/Latina looking one) and she was rushed, distracted, and obviously overwhelmed and not present. She ruined my eyebrows. I've had to wait 2 months to grow them out again just to go get them fixed. I've never had my eyebrows threaded before so I bought their Groupon for eyebrows and cheeks. I walk in, it's 2 ladies and a screaming toddler and no one else. They weren't welcoming or anything and she criticized my eyebrows straight away. While she was threading my brows she was yelling at the kid in another language and was super unfriendly to me and made me feel unwelcome and like a nuisance. She tore into my eyebrows and barely spoke to me and it lasted about 2 minutes total. After the eyebrows she asks what else I want so I explain the Groupon said cheeks so I showed her where I wanted it next which was basically below my sideburns and in front of them. She says no and explains that the cheek means pretty much the space right below your eye. Who the fuck has peach fuzz in that area really. It's gonna be closer to the sideburns. So I just got pissed and was like fuck it never mind. Awful experience. I would totally recommend threading though just not by this place. read more

It was fairly quick and I'm happy with my brows! 30 minutes in and out. I went on Sunday ~3:00pm without an appointment and waited 15-20 minutes since there was only one lady working. Once I sat in the seat, it took less than 5 minutes for my brows to be shaped and witch hazel to be applied to help cool any red skin. Pros: -The lady with the hijab was a pro - very quick and skillful -She doesn't need much direction -Yelp $9 deal was terrific Cons: -Felt slightly rushed: wasn't asked what I wanted or have much time for me to consider the results, luckily I was happy :) -Slight confusion: I'd read about the "wait list" on other reviews so I tried to take note of the name before mine. I've been here a lot but am finally getting around to writing a review! This is my favorite place to go to get my brows done because the results are always consistent. I really prefer threading the waxing because it's a lot less irritating for the skin and much more precise. I've walked in every time and usually wait no longer than 15 minutes before it's my turn. (Threading is also quick and I'm out in less than 5 minutes.) If you're a student you get a discount too! Just remember to bring your student ID. $13 for brows is pretty affordable if you just go every month or two and I've found that upkeep is a lot easier when I get mine threaded vs waxed. read more

I am very disappointed as this used to be my go-to place. But after my last visit, I will have to make a re-adjustment in where I chose to go. I made sure that the woman knew I liked to keep my brows thick but this must have been lost in translation because she made my eyebrows super thin and uneven. She got rid of my natural arch and took away most of the end of my brows I have been working to grow for so long. I did not get the name of the person who did my brows, as she barely said anything to me. One star for how quickly she worked. I got there while she was working on someone. She did not acknowledge me even after she was done. I had to ask her if they had any openings for a brow threading. She told me to sign in on the log sheet. There were two ladies waiting ahead of me. She was probably done threading them in less than 10 minutes. She then told me to sit in the chair. Threaded my brows in 3 minutes, told me how much it was, I paid, and she went back to her seat. No other words were spoken. I don't remember any eye contact being made either. She also had her apple pods in both ears the entire time. Talk about unprofessional, lack of customer service and lack/no personality. Wish I got her name. She looked to be in her 20's and tanned skin. I normally go to a different brow place, and stopped here one time on a whim. The girl was ok, she was young and not very friendly but I gave her a shot. My brows were threaded SO thin. They looked terrible. They started growing in looking terrible. A month later I went back to my regular girl in Beaverton and she said she could see how thin they went and the gaps they left. Even one threading later and they look 1000 times better, so maybe it's just my personal experience but I won't be back. It also could be just that one girl, and not reflective of the other ones at this store. read more

Stopped in on a whim as I was in the area; saw the salon and subsequently, the Yelp check-in 50% off deal; and my eyebrows looked BAD. I got right in, the service lasted just a few minutes, and my eyebrows look really good! I definitely needed some reshaping and they look a ton better. I did notice some missed hairs, so that's not great, but all in all I was pretty happy with the service. I had never tried threading before, so that was interesting. For sure it does not feel great. But, neither does waxing and I had far less skin irritation after the threading. (Although, like waxing, be sure you don't have social plans for a few hours right after as you will probably be a bit red.) It seemed to be much quicker too, a huge plus when you just want to get it done. I would definitely recommend Brow Bliss, especially with the Yelp deal! read more

I've been here three times, each with different aestheticians, and am finally swearing Brow Bliss off because of inconsistent service. My first time here, I was incredibly impressed by my brows. My second and third times? Not so much. My brows were slightly mismatched after my second visit, and my aesthetician spent most of my third visit complaining about how difficult my brows are to style due to the direction of my hair growth... well, yes, I know my brows are hard to work with. That's why I pay to have it done professionally, rather than mucking about myself and running the risk of ending up with ugly brows. If I could have my brows done by the same aesthetician each time, I'd consider coming back; but as is, I don't see any reason to give Brow Bliss my continued patronage. read more

Brow Bliss came up on Yelp and I noticed they had 5 star reviews, so I went! I AM SO GLAD I DID. Azi greeted me and took me right away, I didn't even make or need an appointment. 5-10 minutes later I was out n about with my perfectly shaped brows. She took my already pretty thick brows and shaped them with a nice arch. She also trimmed them to perfection. I love that she left the thickness of the brow but just made them better. After a quick search, Brow Bliss had a lot of reviews and good ratings in addition to the Yelp check in deal for 50% eyebrow threading, which sealed the deal. I was greeted immediately by Azi and taken to a chair where the magic happened. I have to admit that the first ZIPPPP almost made me gasp, but I held it in because people were watching. Since this was my first time, I did not know threading hurts that much. So if this is your first time, pop some ibuprofen if you're a baby like me! Thankfully, the process is over in just ten minutes because Azi is really efficient and precise in this craft. At the end, I felt a lot of eyebrow hairs fluttering about on my face, so I was scared I was going to end up with chola eyebrows, but I guess my eyebrows were just super bushy before. I have been seeing Nilo at Brow Bliss for a couple years and there is no one I would trust more with my eyebrows. I have very thick, almost black eyebrows, they are very prominent on my face, so having someone knowledgeable and talented is very important to me. Every time I sit in that chair, I have confidence that she will do an incredible job, with literally no direction from me. I am given a compliment on my brows at least 3-4 times a week and I know this is all due to Nilo's capable hands! I have very sensitive skin and waxing always wreaked havoc on my face, but threading is much more gentle. I would suggest getting the 3 month membership, it not only saves you time from having to pay every visit, but it's such an incredible deal! I would recommend Brow Bliss to anyone and have even brought a few friends in, who all loved their experiences as well. Nilo is also incredibly sweet, always remembering to ask me how school or work is going. Even when the shop is busy, she takes her time and makes you feel welcome. When I arrived there was one person on the chair and then in the span of her getting her service and I waiting 4 more people arrived, and so when when it was time for me the lady seemed very very rushed. I waited for 13 min to go and then once I sat down I was done in 5 min. It just seemed like she was rushing the whole time and one brow is way better than the other. If you haven't tried threading before then let me tell you, it is the best method of hair removal I've ever experienced (and I've tried many). Professional threading also takes the chore of keeping up with brow shaping, and gives a very clean look. The bonus is getting upper lip completely cleaned up for only a few extra dollars. Never have I been more humiliated than today. I walked in the lady was cashing out a client and a different lady walked in and walked to the chair. I didn't interrupt their conversation, I signed in and sat down. Turned out the lady that walked in before me was the mother of the girl. There was another employee drying her hair. I waited, I was not acknowledged. The lady who worked there went to the back got her keys went to her car and came back. Still not even looking at me. Still treating me like I did not exist. The lady drying her hair was now straightening it. It must have been a good 10 minutes and not a word was said to me from anyone. I continued to wait. I finally got up, crossed my name off the list and left. Still ignored me, still did not say a word to me. I was speechless. There was no one waiting. They blatantly chose to ignore me without any reason. I will never be back to be subjected to this type of horrible customer service and neither will my family who has been going there since they opened.
