There was no clear plan of care, no accountability for poor results, and the equipment used does not appear to be state-of-the-art. Rather than adjusting the approach, responsibility was shifted to the client. I would walk around with a full beard before I ever give this woman another penny of my money.

1 star -- Severe leg injury from laser treatment, then weeks of being ignored…read more I went in for my very first laser hair removal appointment on June 18th and left with severe burns/injuries covering both my legs (see photos). The marks were still visible almost two weeks later (i'm praying these are not permanent scars). I saw my own doctor on June 24th, who diagnosed an adverse skin reaction to the laser treatment, prescribed prescription-strength steroid cream and a prednisone taper, and explicitly advised me not to return for further treatment at this location. What made it worse was the response after: * The marks became visible the day after my appointment (Friday, June 19th). I was working all day and couldn't call, so I emailed them that same day asking if my legs -- badly swollen and itchy -- were a normal reaction. * Saturday, June 20th: I called right when they opened, since I still hadn't heard back on my email. I sent photos as requested. No callback all weekend, so I ended up at urgent care for a hydrocortisone prescription. * Monday, June 22nd: called again, was told the "lead nurse" would call me Tuesday. Also learned that the petroleum jelly they gave me at my appointment to apply afterward was actually making the injury worse (trapping heat) -- meaning their own staff handed me something that worsened my injury. * Tuesday, June 23rd: no call. Called again, was told the same thing. I also sent a second, detailed email that day explaining everything. Their site advertises a 24-hour email response; I never got one. * Wednesday, June 24th: saw my own doctor, who confirmed the severity and advised against continuing treatment. I called LaserAway to cancel my 8-session contract and was told a director would follow up in 24-48 hours. * I heard nothing. I had a beach vacation starting the very next day, and had to keep my legs covered and out of the ocean the entire trip because of this. * I followed up again after vacation (Monday, June 29th) and was told 24-72 business hours. * Got a callback the next day (Tuesday, June 30th), told -- again -- to send photos so a nurse could "look into it," with a callback promised for tomorrow (which is now today). As of writing this, every single promised callback in this process has either not happened or happened days late, so I'm not optimistic. I've since sent a formal written request for contract cancellation, a full refund, and reimbursement of my medical costs, along with my doctor's documentation. We'll see if that ever gets a response. This is a company whose entire business is aesthetics, and when they visibly injured a first-time client, the response was silence, contradictory advice, and stalling on a contract cancellation while the clock ran on my sessions. My vacation was negatively affected by their negligence. I would not recommend anyone start treatment here.

Maybe if I was bolder, I wouldve inquired. They sell a number of sugar scrubs and other products that you can use after your sugaring/waxing appointment at home. At 2:30pm, a technician came out with another customer who'd just finished and greeted me after closing out her appointment. I was definitely nervous but my technician put me at ease with light conversation and music (they let you choose what music you want when you schedule your appointment). I had initially made my appointment for sugaring but I was told that my hairs were too short and that wax would work better. I was a bit disappointed because I'd read about sugaring, but happy that my technician was able to provide good advice. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected it to. I was in and out in about 45 minutes with silky smooth legs.

During our consultation in April he described the whole process and instructed me to let about 2" of the natural color grow in so he could match the tone. In August he spent a full day to implement the transition. Not only did he explain the process step-by-step, but he also made sure I understood the range of results I might see. I couldn't be happier. John was patient, thoughtful about what would work best, and made sure he did nothing to damage my hair. The results speak for themselves. Without reservation, I am recommending John for complex coloring work. I'd also like to share that I was mortified with the prospect of letting the gray show while I was growing it out. At first I tried to cover it up with coloring sprays and hats, but eventually nothing concealed the amount of gray that came in. I was pleasantly surprised by the encouragement I received from family, friends, acquaintances and strangers who freely and continually told me how much they liked my 2-tone look. This made each day leading up to my transformation with John so much easier. My advice for others who are contemplating going natural is, trust the process, and trust John. An encouraged reader asked me to provide info about the cost. I've never had my hair professionally colored so I don't know what the standard cost for coloring is, but this was likely well beyond that. One factor is that it took a full day of John's time with only short rest periods between applications, washing, and blow drying (which occurs between each step so the chemicals are absorbed by dry hair). Another factor is that it depends on variables including how your hair reacts to the chemicals, what chemicals can safely be used without damaging your hair, and how many processes are needed not only to strip the old color but potentially add low lights if quasi-darker tones remain. All this before the silver tint, potentially a glaze top coat, and a final blow out. It's likely that your colorist will provide a complimentary consultation before you start letting the gray grow out. You can ask questions about timing and expected cost range at that time.

The staff here were friendly and professional, they patiently explained to me of all the questions I had and went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable before the treatment started. The normal full face rejuvenation treatment takes 3 rounds on the face, however due to I was a 1st timer and was not fully accustomed to the laser feeling, so had to stop early. Post treatment I felt great, there is no pain, no adverse effects. Their pricing is comparable to similar facilities, please watch the video where the site manager explaining the charges for various treatments. The facility is very clean and inviting. Location of the facility is convenient with a fully automated parking garage downstairs, and limited EV charging on site. If you are looking for a trustworthy laser center, please check them out.
