I hate to leave à subpar review because the aesthetician was very nice and this is a new location. Very convenient shop, clean, and staffed with a friendly team. The pricing is fair. I asked for brow color and shaping. The shaping was done well, I opted for threading instead of wax. The color looked natural, and I had stronger looking eyebrows. I've had my brows colored often when having a facial; this is the first time I tried a mall-type service. I'm accustomed to gradual fading after about 4-6 weeks. I was assured it would last that long but it only lasted a week! Now I have to use eyebrow pencil again. Very disappointed. read more

I had a horrible experience. I went to get my eyebrows and lip done and the lady pulled off my skin. I don't think she knows how to do eye brows or lips using wax. She could have told in the first place if she wasn't comfortable using wax on face, i would have not went ahead. My skin burns terribly. I can see clearly that a layer of skin came of. read more

Brow Arc is conveniently located in Westlake Center mall just above where the Link Light Rail stop is. I've been twice and purchased a session based membership. They also have time based memberships available as well and the value will be dictated by how often you want/need to get threaded. Both experiences have been good, although this last time I was left with some little cuts on my brows. I think it's partly because I can be sensitive and I was also long overdue on getting my brows done. read more

We had a formal event coming up, so we made a reservation here to have my girlfriend's hair done on the day of the event. They wrote down our contact information in their planner and it was all set. Fast forward one week to the day of the event -- we arrive here again and are told that there's nobody available to do hair. The receptionist told us that they called and left a voicemail, which was never received. She then combs through the same planner we saw a week ago, but she was looking through the January section. She refused to listen to us when we pointed out that she should be looking in the April section... Either way, we figured if there's nobody to do hair today, we'll have to go somewhere else. So we asked her if there were any other salons nearby to do hair, and she literally told us to "just google it." We won't be visiting again. read more

I did a walk in and they were able to take me right away. She did an amazing job with getting all excess hair, because let me tell you I was pretty bushy. A few strays were left but I only noticed because I'm weird that way, but that okay I'll just pluck those few later. All that matter was that she got 99.9% of them. If I'm ever in the Seattle area again I will be sure to come here again. The only reason I took one star off is because she barely talk to me and asked what I wanted. Thankfully I only wanted a simple clean up, but it still is a valid question that I believe should always be asked. The price for threading and waxing for eyebrows is the same ($15) so why not just go big and do threading so it'll last longer right. Especially since not a lot of people do it. read more

Surprisingly, there are not many places downtown to get your eyebrows threaded. I've been threading my eyebrows for years and have had both good and bad experiences, this Brow Arc is pretty good. They offer a membership where you can pre-purchase threading appointments at a pretty significant discount, which is very appreciated. Where they lose a star, for me, is the ​pain. This is probably the most pain I have ever had to deal with for threading. I don't know if it's the thread they use or the fact that I have seen younger/more inexperienced technicians, but man, sometimes it REALLY hurts. The most painful appointment I had, I went home and saw I still had some stray hairs and wanted to die, lol. But at the end of the day,​ I have always been happy with how my eyebrows look, and that is what really counts. read more

I didn't think I had enough time, but she assured me it take less than 5 minutes. True to her word, my out of control shapeless eyebrows were quickly transformed. They looked amazing! Do not come here for BROW LAMINATION! This place does not specialize in this service and will perform it incorrectly, not using the right technique. I've had brow lamination done multiple times at various salons, but this place completely missed the mark. Critical steps were skipped; the tech didn't shape my brows by combing the hair up into the desired position with a glue-like solution. She simply brushed them with a spoolie (which does absolutely nothing) and applied the perm solution. While that was processing, she switched between two other clients doing threading. I usually wouldn't mind this, but it made me concerned because she didn't use a timer and looked too distracted to keep track of time (especially while using such a harsh chemical as a perm). After the "lamination" was done, she didn't shape or trim hairs that were out of place, just slapped some brow gel and called it good. I also got eyebrow threading and tinting as part of the $79 package. Threading was good, and seems like a lot of customer come specifically for that (hence my 2-stars). The tinting was way too dark for me, I looked ridiculous, even after emphasizing that I do not want very dark eyebrows because I'm blonde. As a result of the poor technique, my eyebrow hairs barely changed direction of growth and doesn't look like I had anything done. It's a shame I wasted $79 at this salon. read more

I get my eyebrows done by Sharda and full body wax. I have super sensitive skin. Sharda definitely knows how to take care of the customers, make them feel comfortable and she has great expertise in waxing and eye brows. Never had a bad experience with her. She is very friendly and knows how to work on sensitive skin and is very patient. Love my eye brows now and can never find another person who can wax/ do my eye brows better than her. Would give a five star if everyone else at this parlor were friendly and well experienced. But 4 star all for the efforts of Sharda. read more

Love this place! ! Very consistent with their services. One of my favorite things about this place is I never have to wait, I live only about a couple of minutes away(walking distance) and I'm usually able to call and get in within 20 to 30 minutes max. Tried this place for the first time as the location was convenient and God how I regretted not walking for 5-10 more mins. I thread my eyebrows once in two weeks so I know what to expect. My threading was painful and tears wouldn't stop rolling down. At one point I was bleeding as she had ripped my skin away. Even after this when I checked, my eyebrows were not clean at all. She had broken most my hair into half so now there was no way to clean them up further. She couldn't even trim them properly. So my advice, save money, walk a bit more and go to e-brow lounge at sola salon- never disappoints! read more

It was a pretty bad experience as the person ( I don't know the name) treated me so rudely and did my face threading without taking into account that this can hurt. Also made a comment about " too much" hair which I know that's why I go for threading. It was overall bad experience as she moved my face around in very rude way. Also did not do a good job. And she tried to pursue me to buy package at the end which actually makes sense if I was planning to go back. I can not commit to a place where I am not treated well. Although this place is right next to my apt, I still drive to get my eye brows done somewhere else. This is a prime location at Westlake center, so I will request the owner to train your staff to have some courtesy towards customers and at least treat them well. read more

Love going to brow arc! This is a huge chain that is in most major malls. So when you have a membership you can use any of their locations which is super convenient wherever you are! This location at Westlake is at a great location. Near my bus stop so it's a quick stop before I go home. There usually is 2 ladies working at a time so I don't have to wait. Sometimes there is 1 person ahead of me in line but you can always look around at the shops in Westlake while you are waiting. The place is clean and the ladies are nice. The place just moved from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor about a year ago. I like what they've done with the place. Ive been going here for the past couple years and I would recommend. I usually just do my brows and lip for threading. My hairs grow fast and all over the place so they do a great job cleaning it up and giving it shape. I probably stop here once a month and do a 6 time membership. read more

Location: I've been to the salon in Westlake and at Southcenter Mall over 10 different times. Most of the time, they did a decent job. I work downtown and live in West Seattle, the convenience of the location was key for me. I also like that it's a walk in salon and I've never had to wait long. Cost: The price is also good, the first year I bought a punch card and was able to use it the full year. I can't recall, but I think the price worked out to about $12-$15 each visit. I bought a punch card the following year as well, but they seemed to have changed the expiration date, I think I had 2 punches left on the card but it had expired. Without the punch card I think it's $18 - $20, still not bad, but they push hard for you to buy the punch card. Service: Hit or miss and more lately it's been a BIG miss. While they are friendly, the last 3 times I've been in I specifically asked for them to keep my brows fuller and just to clean them up, what I walked away with was thin and uneven brows. I'll be going out of my way to try threading elsewhere to see if they do a better job. I'd rather go out of my way and pay more than to walk around with thin uneven brows! Salon: Used to be a kiosk at Southcenter, so a little odd sitting outside Nordstrom in the open getting your brows threaded, but I think they've moved into a store. The one at Westlake is nice, seems clean. read more
