Sterling Ridge location. Brothers serves a NYC style thin crust pizza. The flavor is OK, but IMO they are very skimpy with the cheese and toppings. The menu here on YELP is not accurate. They don't have 70% of the items listed. No subs, no buffalo chicken, etc. it's basically a mediocre slice shop. As I'm accustomed to more of a thicker meatier pizza,I asked about their Sicilian style which they say is thick crust deep dish and loaded with toppings. Three times I have tried to order it and they ether ran out, or didn't make any of the dough that week. A very poorly run place. If you are in a pinch for a slice, go for it, but don't expect to be impressed. read more

Everybody thinks the best pizza is the version they grew-up with, so I know we will never have agreement. My daughter grew-up in Georgia, and loves Pizza Hut... I grew-up in northern NJ, where they have great pizza, but as you move around the NE - - or even town-to-town in NJ - - you find important differences. We absolutely LOVE Brothers. The owners are so wonderful, and the food is fabulous. We went in on Veterans Day and they ended up blessing us with money off, and even upgraded our pizza for free. I've been going to Brother since it first open while I was in Driver's Ed next door. This place not only embodies the atmosphere of pizzeria but Manny the owner is the coolest guy in the world. Become a regular and you'll get hooked up with cheap slices, free drinks, extra this that and the other. I cant describe it enough as a neighborhood hang out with amazing pizza. I'm only giving 2 stars because the pizza tasted fine. For a Saturday evening, it wasn't very busy so i guess all the workers thought it would be okay to be on their cell phones while taking orders and boxing up pizzas. So gross!! I watched one guy remove a pizza from the oven, flip it around WITH BARE HANDS and put it back in and then go straight back to his phone. No gloves, no hand washing...nothing. The guy tossing the dough was more interested in the movie that was on the tv so that's why my pizza was thick in some spots and super thin in others. And when did it become okay to have r-rated movies playing?? Foul language and shootings? It's supposed to be a family restaurant!! 40 minutes before they're supposed to close they started cleaning so we were hit in the face with an overwhelming scent of fabuloso. I couldn't even smell my pizza. Also, one of the workers wiping down tables had a gun on his waist...not something I'd like to see while having dinner with my young children. I love this place! Growing up I always ate at the one on sawdust. It's nice having a piece of my childhood right next to my work. Staff is generally pretty nice and the pizza is always great. I love to just stop in and get a $2.50 slice for lunch. read more

For a pizza place in a shopping center strip mall, this is very good pizza, and reasonably priced. We've done both dine in and take out and have never been disappointed. We've tried their pasta dinners, and those are great as well. My only complaint is I always I feel sorry for the Pizza Hut next door ... as everyone is passing it up for Brothers. read more

Brothers does a really good pizza! The salads are fine enough but they do a pizza really well. The restaurant is pretty small and gets packed but for pick up or delivery it is a really good pizza. I just moved to The Woodlands and was anxious to find some local takeout/delivery places that would make us happy. Tried out Brothers tonight and thought it was pretty good! I lived in NYC and Providence (both great pizza towns) and although I'm not sure you can compare it with those locations, it was enjoyable and I'd definitely order again from Brothers over the big chains. we had an XL pepperoni and the pepperoni had just the right amount of spice. We also had a Greek salad - not exactly an authentic Greek - but really good and the dressing was delicious. Sort of reminded me of the olive garden salad. Yum! My 2 year old had 2 slices and kept asking for more! Good stuff. read more

This is a grows little pizza shop for good affordable pizza by the slice or a whole pie. The lunch specials are great. You will not find any kind of fancy artisan pizzas here, just good old fashioned New York thin crust and good Calzones. The customer service here is about one step away from spitting in my face. I can almost feel the distaste off these people, and I'm not really sure what could have triggered it. Also, the booths are so small that the tables dig into your chest, and it smells like old spice deodorant about 50% of the time. Brother's Pizza was my obvious first choice for the start of my pizzeria review blog. Though this is not their first location, this is the location I dine at the most. Though it does not matter. All locations have welcoming and pleasant employee's, and that wonderful fresh pizza smell. Every time Brother's is the chosen destination for meal time, I get excited to enjoy some of the best New York style pizza north Houston has to offer. I've tried just about every item on the menu and they are all good choices, but I always suggest just going with the pizza. They sell by the slice which is especially helpful for those stopping by for a quick lunch. The only reason why I didn't give 5 stars is sometimes the tables are a bit untidy and the setup inside does have a gaudy feel to it - but don't let it fool you! Just returned from a trip and called at 8:30pm to find out how late restaurant was opened. Was told restaurant was opened until 9pm, so called back at 8:45pm to place order. The lady that answered the phone was atrocious. Asked why I kept calling and indicated they would not accept my order as they were preparing to close? Business must be so good they do not need my families business and after the attitude and insults I received tonight, my business and cash will be going to one of the many other pizza competitors in the Woodlands. Terrible service on Fridays, do not even think about ordering. Last night I placed an order for take out, was hungry after a day of work and trips around town. I was told that the pizza will be ready in 40 minutes... I was late 10 minutes on top of the 40 and was worried that the pizza will get cold... I shouldn't have been worried about that since after 50 minutes from placing the order the pizza was not even in the oven yet. No call back to tell me they are running late, nothing. Brother's Pizza off Woodlands Parkway and Kuykendahl. The manager was EXTREMELY rude and sent her son to collect the cold food they delivered. We thought we would have to drive it up there after having an altercation with the owner and decided against it. We thought it would be left at that but it wasn't. Here's what happened: I called and placed my order around 1:43pm. Around 3:20 our food arrived and the driver apologized and informed us that he made a mistake when we he told me they delivered here. We should've ordered from the Grogan's Mill location. We figured lesson learned. Seth and I went to dig in and the pizza and wings weren't even hot. My fiance decided to call back and inform the manager that the pizza took forever to get here and the food wasn't even hot. She was very defensive and called my fiance a liar and began raising her voice at him. Told him she would refund him and to take his business elsewhere next time. I tried to defuse the situation and hopped on the phone and she proceed to yell at me and hung up. I called back to figure out what she wanted us to do and she kept yelling at me telling me to take my business elsewhere and not to call back. At this point I figured she wanted us to take the pizza up there and that's not something I wanted to do. She seemed like a very rude person and I did not want things to escalate. I called the Grogan's Mill location and spoke with the manager, R.T. who was very professional and apologetic about the actions of the Sterling Ridge owner, Lima. He reports that he has gotten several calls about how she treats her customers. About 20 minutes later the driver shows up and turns out he's her son. He wanted us to give him the food because his mother took it upon herself to void the transaction and not communicate with us what she wanted to do. We heated up the pizza and wings and ate because we thought it was done with. She hung up on us three times and told me she would file telephone harassment against us. All I wanted to know was how she was going to rectify the situation. Her son was extremely rude and wouldn't let me shut our front door. My fiance actually had to slam it shut and I locked it. This OWNER has no class and lacks what it takes to work in customer service! I have NEVER had an owner of a business treat me as she did and tell me to take my business elsewhere! This was one of the strangest things I've ever had happen and it was completely unacceptable. I will NEVER refer anyone to this location nor will I ever come back or support her business. However the Grogan's Mill location is amazing! The manager is awesome and he herd me out today when I explained everything! Take your business to this man's place! Just read a couple negative reviews, and all I can say is, I have no idea what they're talking about. We order takeout here probably 3 times a month, and have never been disappointed. In fact, on occasion, I call and speak to the manager to give whoever made my wonderful pie so well my kudos. Not enough cheese? Not high quality? I have never experienced that. In fact, it is by far the best available pizza in The Woodlands, bar none. Fresh ingredients, ample amounts, custom ordered for my family. I have come to know the owners over time and have confidence that if I ever had a question or problem, they would resolve it immediately. Yeah, costs more (a lot some might say) than Domino's or the Pizza Hut next door, but the business is thriving. What does that tell you?
