The absolute worst . They did not provide the service they said they would and then gave me the runaround. I had to handle this rat control by myself after they dropped off the traps. They said they'd come by and pick them back up and they said they would spray poison around the house as to keep them from coming back, but they did not. Didnt respond when contacting the office. Absolutely can't stand these guys. They came 4 times in 3 months and still have a black widow after the last treatment. They said they could come every day if necessary and I said if you have to come every day then you're not doing your job. This company is crooked. I made the mistake of using them for gopher problem. For months I'd have to call weekly due to new gopher holes popping up. They never killed a single gopher. My problem got worse. I called to cancel, and they put me through to some snake who threatened to charge me a fee to cancel. I emailed them to cancel and complain. My biggest problem was gophers the guy came out with one or two gopher traps when there were several holes so a week later another guy comes out they set up a bunch of gopher traps and then leave these little Flags but they only come to check them every other month well I don't know what happened to the flags and I don't know where the Gopher traps are anymore and neither do they personally I think they're service that's not good at all and I would not recommend them for anything and now I just noticed my has been being charged more than the promised price I'm done trying to call them I would recommend them to nobody read more

Brooks gopher-pest service is an absolute scam. RUN, don't sign ANYTHING electronic and read the reviews about their gopher service. Pushy salesman oversold this great gopher-pest trapping service with additional bug spray, etc. for $150 every two months. I thought Great! I am battling gophers in my back lawn. Promises to have tech out next day. However, 2 (two) traps were set behind sheds out of view. Then guy walks around with a backpack sprayer for bugs - not the typical pro tank sprayer most pest places have . I thought they just hadn't done back lawn yet, but then guy left. Wasn't impressed. - I can do that bug spay myself with my own backpack sprayer (1+ acres). I still have bugs around foundation and gophers destroying backyard. Called to cancel and get told there is a $250 cancelation fee. They promise to have a 'manager' come out to do the service right. I received a text confirmation for 12:30 to 1:30 arrival. No call no show by 2:30. Call Brooks again to cancel and get gaslit over cancelling and saying no authority to cancel, yada yada. I just happened to be home that day and after letting me know when he there, he did his thing and I caught him on the way out and asked him to help me with a heavy box I had delivered. I am writing to share my experience with Brooks Pest Control and to caution others against using their services. I hired this company to address a rat infestation in my attic. Despite three service visits, the technician refused to enter the attic to place traps where the main activity was located. Instead, they placed 2 traps at the entrance, traps I could have gotten from Home Depot. This approach felt like a deliberate attempt to prolong the issue rather than resolve it, meaning the longer you use their services, the more profitable the business is. Furthermore, the company stopped showing up for scheduled services for three months while continuing to charge my bank account. When I contacted them, they claimed they could not reach me to schedule appointments which is not true and refused to issue a refund for the undelivered services. Even after I explicitly called to cancel, they continued to charge my account for another three months. I eventually had to involve my bank to stop these unauthorized transactions. Additionally, not only did they not show up to provide the services, the went ahead and charged me a $175 cancelation fee. This company has proven to be dishonest and unprofessional. They showed no interest in remedying the situation or providing the service I paid for. I strongly advise against providing them with your banking information or utilizing their services. If you choose to hire them, I recommend using a credit card or debit card rather than providing them with your bank account, because if you have any issues with them, they will find excuses and they will still charge you even if you already asked them to stop the services or if the services were not delivered. read more

My bad for hiring the first pest control company that I called. Over a week ago I called Brooks because I saw a mouse in my kitchen. I had to pay $175 and lock in for 18 months at $59 per month. They came the next day (sad face) and laid 6 sticky traps ($12 value) in the kitchen. I had work done in my livingroom a few days later. Mouse poop was found under my couch. I have looked for and closed several potential openings. Why didn't the service guy look for any of that housewide? I have since purchased more sticky traps and other deterrents and poison. I haven't seen the mouse but we hear it! To cancel Brooks service it will cost me another $175 dollars. That's at least $350 dollars to Brooks for inadequate service! DO NOT USE BROOKS!!! Initially these guys came to just spray outside area for spiders and flies . But every time we would notice no difference within a week of spraying and then coming out every 2 months. Fast forward to recently we discovered some rodents getting into our home I called them right away to see what can be done and they did send a technician out for service but all he could do was give us flimsy paper glue traps for inside and a bait box for outside and said they cannot find any external holes leading to inside or cover up anything and if we found anything we would have to cover and fix ourselves . Which we did .. or so we thought because we're still catching a few inside over past week on traps we had to purchase ourselves . The traps they provided for us did not catch a single thing . So my thought process is why pay for a service they cannot do so I called to cancel and all I got was push back to not cancel and that they can come out more often and I continued to refuse . Eventually got it cancelled so far but the guys attitude was apparent when I flat out refused for the 4th time in one conversation of him trying to convince us to continue. We will see if they surprise us later with hidden charges but I don't recommend them, we will be going with someone who can actually help us fix the issue. read more

The first guy did a decent job (I assume, I never had a pest control company before), the woman who came a month after him was on my property for maybe five minutes, at most. I saw that she had cleared spider webs, but there was no evidence of the other things she was supposed to have done and she had already left when I went out to let her into the back yard. Poor quality, low value. I learned from a neighbor that you MUST cancel your service before the third visit, or they'll charge that enormous cancellation fee - so I did. Meanwhile, I moved and with working long hours and moving and my brother passing away, I forgot to cancel my account. I sent an email because I work 6am to 6pm or later sometimes and I cannot call during my working hours. I was told that my cancellation was noted. I was charged twice since I moved. I finally got some time to call and cancel and when I asked for a refund for the last two bills since I don't live there anymore, they said that it is not their policy to refund anyone regardless of how horrible the service was. I will never use them again and never recommend anyone to use them. This company is just a scam and should not be in business.
