I had the honor of taking my father to his latest dentist appointment, while visiting him and got to meet Dr. Larson again after such a long time. I can't say enough wonderful things about this office. Dr. Larson is not only an excellent dentist, but one of the most genuinely personable doctors we've ever encountered. He takes his time with my dad, talks to him with patience and respect, and makes him feel like he's the only patient on the schedule that day. It's rare to find a provider who combines skill, warmth, and true compassion -- especially for elderly patients who need a little extra care and conversation. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Larson and his entire staff. He will be my dentist going forward. One of my molars had been crumbling bit by bit over time and i could no longer put off having it looked at when the filling that was in it fell out. The filling was placed years ago by another dentist. After examining the tooth, Dr Larson presented me with a couple options. We decided to go with a crown. Technology has changed a lot since I was last at a dentist. He imaged the area and fabricated the crown in office. It's a perfect fit. Dr Brooks Larsen has been our family dentist for years. The dental hygienists and staff are always so helpful and kind. Recently my front tooth broke. Dr Larson and team made time for me so an evaluation could be done. Recommendations were provided; a choice was made and he put things into motion. This facility is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly. Dr. Larson was incredible! I've gone to a dentist before who I felt was ripping me off & having me get unnecessary work done for the money. This was NOT the case with Dr. Larson!! He showed me in great detail color pictures of my teeth from multiple angles, showed me where potential issues were, what needed to be done right away & what we could wait on. The technology was incredible, but his knowledge really impressed me. He took the time to explain the tools he would be using & did everything to make me feel at ease. I know I'm probably in the minority but I look forward to going to the dentist. I've been coming to this dentist since I was a little kid and they were located off of Chapman Avenue in Fullerton. Terry works the front desk and she's been there at least 20 years. She's always wonderful and is one of those people that can put you in a good mood. Gina is my usual hygienists and has a gentle touch but is always thorough. I swear she takes notes because she remembers my dad and sister and what they've been up to. (They go there too) Dr. Richardson is always easy going and a conversationalist. He's really diligent about noticing the little problems before they become big ones and typically can perform any fillings with out anesthetic. There is only one drawback to this office. They don't take HMO dental plans. Only PPO plans here and since my work is super cheap on they're dental coverage I end up paying full price to come here. I've tried going to the dentists provided in the HMO plans and they can't hold a candle to this place. read more

If you want a place not to get only receive the high quality service from Dr. Larson but also to mention the amazing front staff and the male assistants!!! I have been referred to Dr. Larson because at the time I was suffering from a really horrible experience because an endodontists did a horrible job of my root canal that I had to redo the root canal. This was my first root canal and it was terrifying. Dr. Larson was able to see me immediately and took the time to explain everything so thoroughly. Not only was I getting the best quality treatment but I was also being educated. Yesterday,I was experiencing pain and after Xrays and CT he was letting me know it was my sinuses and prescribed me antibiotics. Also, ibuprofen to reduce the pain. The pain went away completely today!!!! Please take Dr. Larson's recommendations!!! It has helped to prevent me from bigger issues later! I also got a mouth guard from his recommendations and it has helped me so much!!!! I was referred to Dr. Brooks by a friend after telling her that I am a dental chicken and going to the dentist has always given me anxiety over the years. When I went in for my appt. with Dr. Brooks I found his office to be very nice and comfortable. His staff was friendly and the hygienist who helped get me started was very kind and made me feel really comfortable. Unfortunately for me, I had to have a tooth extracted. Dr. Brooks was very kind and gentle. He made sure I understood what he was doing during the procedure and made sure that I felt no pain what so ever. I had another appointment with Dr. Brooks for another tooth that was broken and he took his time in trying to save my tooth rather that having to extract this one as well. I felt no pain again during the procedure and it healed without pain as well. I would recommend Dr. Brooks to other friends and family, especially to ones who are afraid of having dental work done. read more

I've recently moved to CA and have been looking for a dentist and if you're looking for one, I highly recommend Dr. Larson! I was at total ease. He explains everything in a way you can understand and I quickly discovered how knowledgeable he is. As he explained how my tooth problem was caused and how he was going to fix it, I also realized how much he enjoys what he does and isn't going through the motions. His office has some pretty cool equipment that seems to be the latest up to date technology and wasn't operating in some caveman era like some dentists I've been to. I chipped my tooth, had just moved to OC, and an acquaintance recommended Dr. Larson to me. It was an emergency so I didn't have a chance to find a different dentist. He rattled on about how he bought the practice from skilled dentists who molded their own crowns in house. How does that relate to Dr. Larson's competence? Well it doesn't because when I asked for a gold crown he pushed for a porcelain crown seeming more comfortable with it since he could shave it and make it fit instead of having to make a perfect fit before hand. He did guarantee the work for life... whether this is true remains to be seen. Luckily I haven't had problems with the crown yet. He also told me the person who recommended him to me went along with everything he suggested. Not me, I like to be educated about the best care for my teeth and in being informed I get a feel for how competent the dentist is. There ARE bad dentists who are just there to make money. I had been to my regular dentist 6 months before and had no cavities, but when I visited Dr. Larson to get a crown he did a check up and told me I needed 3 fillings. Needless to say I didn't go back and here I am 3 years later, went to a new dentist, and there were no cavities.
