My family dentist was on vacation but I had a toothache and needed a dentist. Very polite on the surface, but got an attitude and defensive out of no where when I tried to explain what was wrong and which tooth it was. She maybe felt intimidated or shes insecure, I dunno. I have been to several dentist offices before and none of them compare to Artistic Dental. I had some work done last year at a nearby dental office where they installed my crowns poorly which led to one falling off. Also I have a huge fear of needles and have had bad experiences getting poked in the wrong spot. Today was my first Visit to Artistic Dental and I have to say; What a Difference!! 1. They handled and treated my needs with kind and friendly service; though I was embarrassed about my laundry list of needs, they reassured me that I had nothing to worry about. 2. They are extremely detailed when explaining X-Rays and Exams. All the while explaining which of your treatments should be the most important to handle first. 3 The Needles: I did not Feel a THING!! The Doctor was so comforting and gentle that I completely trust her with any future procedures. 4. The office/tools: the office was pristinely clean and all their tools were state of the art and up to date. Also the chairs have a TV so you can watch while you wait. Overall, I think I've found my go to spot and I fully recommend this location to anyone who can relate to my review. read more

Dentist claimed my husband needed something that would cost a couple thousand. Went to another dentist and that wasn't the case. Got a crown and it fell out, exactly 1 year after I got it. I have TMJ and she was rough with me. So was her assistant, worst dentist experience ever. This dentist sucks, she's nice the first visit. She seems to be pleasant to men clients after the first visit but she was a complete b@tch to me after the first visit. She would get frustrated with me about keeping my mouth open... I have TMJ lady, sorry my mouth starts to close without my control. Thought that was known in dental school. She also had the nerve to insult the work I had from a prior dentist. After years of searching and dreading dental appointments, we found a place where our entire family feels like they are with family . The only concern I have is that my daughters will take for granted having an amazing dentist (Kyra Nguyen, DDS) and an amazing staff because they have not known the hardship of being herded in and out, just another number, or by rude front office staff who seem to only increase your costs, or worse yet, having your entire tooth extracted because of a minor infection (later confirmed by a different dentist in the same office). I am shocked and surprised by all the 5 star ratings this dentist got. I went in to just checkout the place since I had a coupon for a free exam. It is a pretty modern office. Which is a good sign. My problem is that when I left ,I was informed that I needed over 3,000 worth of dental work. Crowns ,fillings , deep cleaning, you name it that dentist found it. It reminded me of the $9.99 oil change coupon. The one where you go in and they also inform you that you need all kinds of other work done to your car so it doesn't break down. The 9.99 oil change turns into a few hundred dollars worth of work. So if you really feel like this dentist isn't picking your pocket, then Good Luck to you! She's a wolf in sheeps clothing. They get 5 stars for niceness! One star for trying to put me in the poor house. I'll take a mean ,nasty but honest dentist over her any day. read more

I was just about to call when her receptionist called 20 min before my appt time asking where I was. At first I was polite and apologetic because my fault and honestly I can't control the health of my kids, right? I offer that I can come in the afternoon when I can get a sitter but Instead of understanding the receptionist tells me "oh, do you know how valuable the Dr's time is? you wasted 2 hrs of her time now. we had you down for xoom." so yeah just annoyed because she lost $$$ for something not covered by insurance. way to lose clients and referrals. read more
