I am very upset and disappointed with this practice. I went in specifically for what was advertised as a "FREE" Invisalign consultation, only to later discover that they had submitted a claim to my insurance. Because of that claim, when I went to my regular dentist for X-rays, I ended up having to pay out of pocket. Calling something a "free consultation" while billing a patient's insurance without making that clear upfront feels extremely misleading. I also strongly recommend consulting with an orthodontist if you are considering Invisalign. During my consultation, Dr. Ha immediately told me that I needed to have all of my wisdom teeth removed to make more room for my crowded front teeth and tried to refer me to another practice for the extractions. I was uncomfortable with such a significant recommendation, so I sought additional opinions from other orthodontists. None of the orthodontists I consulted told me that removing my wisdom teeth was necessary for my Invisalign treatment or that doing so would resolve the crowding issue. I can only speak from my own experience, but between the unexpected insurance claim and the significantly different treatment recommendations I received from other orthodontists, I completely lost confidence and trust in this practice.

Upon arriving at the office after adjusting both my work schedule and the boys' school schedules--I was informed that their appointments had been changed. Both boys were seen simultaneously, and neither was treated by Alex. When I inquired about the change, I was informed that Sara had altered the appointments, assuming it would be more convenient. While I appreciate efforts to accommodate patients, such a change should not have been made without prior consultation. A simple phone call would have resolved this matter, and a note at the time of scheduling could have prevented the miscommunication altogether. I would not recommend this dental facility based off of office experience. We also had a previous issue with charges being added during Covid with no prior notice to us and the charges were not covered by insurance.

Dr Lee does…read morenot feel comfortable providing even a basic cleaning to 1st/3rd trimester pregnant women despite all major guidelines including American Dental Association and ACOG (ob gyn guidelines) ensuring it is perfectly safe and strongly recommended. It's extremely important that pregnant women get routine cleanings during their pregnancy as they are at increased risk of gum disease. Dr Lee chooses to go against all major guidelines and enforce his own policy denying pregnant women important dental care that they need. I find this to be a red flag, if he's uncomfortable doing a basic cleaning for someone who's pregnant, I wonder if he is truly confident in his skills as a dentist overall.
