I ordered an order of 100 wings and 3 pies of pizza today. The pizzas we ordered were good but unfortunately when it came to the wings that was a different story. I ordered 50 bbq wings and 50 medium hot wings. But instead I received 50 medium hot and 50 hot wings. When I called the manager to address the issue he told me that he had to check the video surveillance in order to see if the order was correct. Which makes no sense the manager who I spoke to later proceeded to offer to give a tub of bbq sauce. This isn't customer service. I had to drive up to the place with the two trays of wings to address the issue in this order. Upon arrival I was told that the wing he tried from the tray of wings was bbq sauce with a kick. We all know that bbq sauce is usually sweet with a tang. If his bbq sauce had a kick that is something that should have been told to me when I ordered. Overall terrible customer service and will not recommend this place to further people. read more

I ordered the Chicken Francese from Brooklyn Pizza in Rahway NJ. I'm not sure if the cook was in a hurry or the cook just doesn't care. The dish was horrible and bland, had zero taste. This is my first time trying this place out and I will never be back again. We wanted a delivery but since it was going to take 1 hour for 2 items, we decided to pick up instead. All we got was a grandmothers pizza and a brooklyn sandwich and it cost $30! The food was disgusting. The pizza was so salty we couldn't eat it and the sandwich was a mess. Soggy rotten lettuce and tomatoes. The chicken was breaded but yet it was soggy and greasy. You can tell they don't clean the grill because the cheese had burnt black stuff on it. The fries were so soggy and cold and tasted like chlorine! My dog who eats everything, refused to even sniff the chicken from the sandwich. The customer service was nice on the phone when we ordered and when we picked up. But when we called back to complain, she jumped down my throat. It has a nice atmosphere. They have flat screen televisions, but an old Italian eatery decor. Definitely more refined than many of the other pizza palors in the area. We have dined in on several occassions. My son asks for this pizza place specifically. The staff is very nice and serve you as any other restaurant. Plus their prices are very competitive. I ordered a pie with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions and was disappointed that the mushrooms were of the canned variety. The crust, cheese, pepperoni and onions were all great. Not a fan of Brooklyn pizza. I've been in a few times for a slice after work, it's always a long wait for some reason even if it's empty. So they placed ad flyers on my door and i decided one day to try it out. Ordered for home delivery one large pizza and 10 wings. It took one hour and 25 minutes to deliver it. Driver said the girl on front desk got the town name incorrect and he went to another town. OK. So we sat down to finally eat pizza and wings. Guess what? Pizza looked not cooked, wings were good for me but too spicy for my wife, and to top it off, we requested ranch dressing for Bruschetta pizza since options were ranch, blue cheese and something else, but it arrived with blue cheese dressing. I called pizzeria few times to speak to the manager but the absent-minded front girl kept saying he is too busy to talk. I told her about the whole mishap and she did not even say Sorry. She asked if pizza got delivered or not, and then enjoy it and hang up. ANd guess what: I would have given you a second chance if at least the customer service was appropriate! This was my first and last experience with Brooklyn Pizza. Despite the chain's clever name I doubt any of these people have ever had a real slice of pizza. The pizza arrived in a cold and depressing state and we were charged for a large when it was supposed to be a medium. We ordered the Veggie, and there was a severe lack of sauce and cheese. The eggplant was soggy and tasted freezer burnt. To top it all off there was cellophane from the top of a cigarette pack in my salad. Not the most appetizing experience. read more

Horrible I do not know how their service is when you are dining in. I live literally around the corner from them and have always ordered in. I have ordered there over 10 times in the past couple of months and last night will be the last time I ever call them for anything. I do not mind the hour wait for my order to be delivered a block down from where they are at. However, I do not need attitude over the phone, cold pasta and pizza, all the extras missing when my $50 order finally gets here as I am in the middle of entertaining my friends. Sloppy, Unprofessional, "walk in joint" at best. I have put over 10 orders to this place at minimum $30 per order every time over the past couple of months. I live less than a mile away... Their pizza is pretty decent. Good amount of cheese and sauce. Crust was good too. The only complaint I had was the panini that my girl had. She had a grilled chicken panini and she was NOT happy with her food. The chicken was hard and rubbery, as if it was taken out of the freezer after five years. It ruined her day, my day was ok. If this is a chain, it certainly doesn't operate like a "chain" like Dominos. It seems like the owner is really invested in the place as his own, he is there 24/7 and seems to take pride in his food. The pizza is actually really good. I like that the pizza is thin, the crust is chewy and they don't load it with overly sweet or tangy sauce. It's really good with pepperoni because they use a higher-end spicy style peperoni. I was pleasantly surprised at how light and airy their pizza is. It doesn't hurt that the place is nice and clean and priced right too, that's a big plus! read more

First, before I continue I want to say I DO really like their pizza a lot and overall, I enjoy the place particularly when I eat in or pick up the food myself. However, when we order for delivery, they mess up the orders quite a bit if it is anything but pizza. For instance tonight, I ordered Eggplant Parmigiana, no sauce on the pasta and garlic bread. I received pretty much no sauce at all on the eggplant (who, can eat eggplant with no sauce?) and they sent their special garlic bread for $4.50 and charged me for it, instead of the plain one for $1.75. This happens a lot. The people taking the orders just do not pay attention. Now, in their defense, the Owner did not charge me for the order when I called to complain - so kudos to them for this. But, the fact that this occurs so frequently is still annoying. Stick to ordering a pie and you probably will be fine. They have never screwed up any of my pizza orders. read more

Pizza is pretty good. Very thin crust and based on pizza alone I'd probably go up to four stars. They have some delicious combinations on the pizza like buffalo chicken which is particularly delicious. The pizza prices are very very high for what is actually in the box. The first time I picked up a pie from there I swore the box was empty. That's not a bad thing, though, it's crispy and delicious. In my experience the sandwiches strictly sub-par. Earlier this month we were looking for some late take out and remembered Brooklyn Pizza. So we ordered some hot subs - chicken parm and a Philly cheese steak. Best I can say is notso hotso, really. I've never had anything else on their menu so I can't say either way. The pizza is delicious! Fresh out and even if it has been sitting for a bit. Sandwiches and dinners are amazing as well. The cashiers provide good service and they're very nice, helpful, and respectable. Everyone working there is very nice. They're also open 7 days a week 11am-10pm! And, they have free wi-fi. This is the first pizza I ever had when we moved into the Rahway area. It is also the last time I ever ate here. I was extremely hungry from moving in our things, and that was still not enough to entice me to eat past "satiety". The pizza was dripping with grease and tasteless.
