This place is truly unprofessional. I came here to do my eyebrows and the lady just got a thread and started plucking my eye brow hairs. Both of my brows were uneven. Thank god that my mom was with me, she made sure the lady made my brows even. That's the only reason I'm giving it two stars. Go to the salon on 86th Street between 4th and 5th ave. Theeeeeee worsttttt!! I came in to get henna done and they tried to overcharge me for the design I originally wanted. I didn't let that happen so I told them to give me their best design for $20 on one hand. The lady who did it was older and no I'm not ageist but her hand was shaking the whole time she did the henna and at no point suggested I go to a steady surface so she can do better. By the time she's done the design is so crappy. I was truly upset and embarrassed that this design was about to be on my hand for the next two weeks. It was so bad my eyebrow lady at a completely different place was embarrassed for me and redid the whole design for free. She told me "we don't even give our children henna like this." More importantly the original henna is still stuck on my hands and no matter how hard I scrub it off it won't come off. Save yourself. Stay away. read more

I've been here twice and both times were a mistake. The place is filthy! The customer service is RUDE! They don't greet you or even speak to you at all. They just point at a chair tell you to sit and start talking to each other in another language. I say, thank you, bye have a great day and get no response. I never have high expectations for these places, but this spot really lacks technique. First, they aren't very welcoming and then this particular girl who did my eyebrows mainly used scissors to shape my brows. One is clearly way thiner than the other and I feel that anyone who does eyebrows knows that thiner is not the best route to go. I usually get my eyebrows done in Park Slope but I was in the area and decided I'd give this place a try so I don't have to commute all the way to my regular place. Boy oh boy was that the worst decision Ive ever made... Upon entering I greeted the worker ( who was currently busy doing a customers eyebrows ) no hi back but i completely understood for she was busy with a customer. I take a seat and another worker from the back comes to the front. She gives me a look and then starts speaking in another language to the worker that's busy with a customer. Immediately, in my head I'm like I'm getting a weird vibe here should I just ignore it or get up and leave. Sadly, I decided to ignore it 5 mins after the worker from the back finishes speaking to the worker I greeted she then comes up to me and says "eyebrows" and points at the chair for me to sit and then I'm all done.. when i got up from the chair my eyebrows were just completely ruined... I have really thick arched eyebrows and it was just horrible she made them uneven, didn't correctly clean it up, honestly Im just waiting to grow them out again because my eyebrows were ruined!! The customer service here is horrible! I will never go again and to be honest I'm surprised this place is still in business esp located within the heart of BayRidge! read more

I was super hesitant about going here to get my brows, because of the negative yelp reviews. Also, this place is pretty shabby looking, which added to my worries. The lady that did my eyebrows was super intimidating; literally no emotion to her and uttered commanding, one worded instructions to me. After she finished, I was prepared for my eyebrows to come out terrible, but to my surprise, my eyebrows looked good. She did what I asked, just cleaned up the hairs that I had grown out. And the price is super cheap for threading services. I usually pay around $30 for eyebrow and lip threading and this place charged $17 for eyebrow, lip and chin total!! read more

A newly opened salon right off the R train station on 86th street. They offer services from facials to waxing to threading. I went in for eyebrow threading for $7. It was okay, I was hoping they would do a cleaner job. I could still see the little hairs around my arch area. They said it was due to ingrown hair from tweezing and so they were unable to do it. After threading, my eyebrows were also slightly mismatched. I needed to go home to retouch them with tweezers. Since it was my first time, they gave me a card to come back on the 10th time free. I'm only going to be back because its close to where I live. read more

I was here for the first time today because someone recommended this place to me because it wasn't too far from where I live. Never had my brows threaded before, so I gave it shot. I came in with hairy, unruly brows, and just wanted a clean-up, so that's what I told them. They just pointed me to a seat, told me to sit down in a commanding voice, and got started. Wasn't too painful, but they didn't do it professionally because after they were done, my brows weren't even because one was straight and another was angled. Misky does my brows and is my go-to girl. She does my brows every time and does them perfectly. Everyone isn't Perfect though, and she might either thin them out accidentally or so, but fixes them regardless. Horrible don't go here. I went to wax my upper lip because my skin is super sensitive and threading causes bumps that last for days. When I usually get it waxed the bumps come and go but it's been 3 days and it hasn't gone away and I'm guessing it's because they aren't clean.
