Had to make a quick pitstop here before the walk on the bridge, for restroom and opted for sparkling lemonade with iced tea. The people were very gracious and allow me to use the restroom with a minimum purchase. Although the tea cost eight dollars, which is pretty steep. It was worth not holding over the bridge. lol- the place was clean and cool, the atmosphere was open and the host was welcoming understanding my flight. However, the bathroom did not have tissue :/ - almost a fail if I didn't have some in my pocket

Food was freshly prepared and very good. They have a nice variety of food to choose from. Good service.

From New York City hall, I crossed the Brooklyn Bridge on my foot. This cafe is located at the exit of the bridge on a side of Brooklyn. I was thirsty as I walked across the bridge. As the exit gradually approached, the cafe Jumped into my eyes. I decided to come in it. Though Brooklyn Bridge Bistro was Brooklyn Bridge Cafe before, now the name become Brooklyn Bridge Bistro. I suddenly think the cafe and searched on the internet. The location matched with my old photo but the name of it didn't matched with the name in my photo. So I watched the Website of Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, managing local business. As a result, I found that Brooklyn Bridge Bistro is the same cafe, Brooklyn Bridge Bistro. The Brooklyn Bridge Bistro has been open the same place for a long time. Maybe, local people in Brooklyn rarely visit the cafe, but tourists of Brooklyn Bridge usually visit it. So so many reviews evaluate high quality and services, especially the prices. According to my research, it is very famous for tourists who visited Brooklyn Bridge, but local people hardly ever visit it.

Time & Date: Friday, 7/30/21 @ 6:30pm Crowd: only 2 parties Ordered: Iced Cafe Latte w/ Almond Milk ($7.25) Needed some energy before walking the Brooklyn Bridge, and this restaurant was conveniently located at the bridge entrance. This is a sit down restaurant, but I just ordered a latte from the menu to go. The espresso was decently strong & there was a slight sweetness from the almond milk. Solid latte, but for $7.25? Big Yikes!

I haven't waited this long for anything since Space Mountain. The service was surely lacking this AM, but the food was ok until I noticed the pool of oil my egg white omelette was basking in. Probably a must-miss

What a nice place! We were hoping to make it in for breakfast, but we just missed the cut off time and had lunch instead. I ordered the mac n cheese and buffalo wings. Both were really good. The mac n cheese was really saucy, which was nice, but could have used some more seasoning. The dressing that came with the wings was a little vinegary, but the wings themselves were good. I was able to try the margarita pizza, artichoke dip, and grits. The grits were rich and creamy and although the crust on the pizza was a little doughy, it had good flavor. The artichoke dip was REALLY good. It was a hit with the group for sure. The staff was really nice and welcoming.

There is currently construction and scaffolding in front of the place, but you'll see signage where to go at the opening of the scaffolding. We walked in, past the bar and checked in. We were seated within 5 minutes. I ordered a bourbon old-fashioned and we ordered crab rangoon as a starter. There were a lot of them and the sweet chili sauce was great. For my entree, I ordered the vodka rigatoni and a side of buttered broccoli. The vodka rigatoni was really good - liked the flavor and a decent size of pasta. The broccoli was really good for some reason to me. Also tried the truffle mac and cheese which was incredibly rich and tasted great. As a dessert, we had the chocolate pie which was dense, rich, and topped with a huge dollop of whipped topping. I really liked the atmosphere of the place, loud roaring 20s style with jazz playing. Plus I kept finding myself checking out the mural on the wall. Try it for yourself - but worth the fight to get a table.

But after all the hype, the Michelin buzz, and the impossible reservation, I left feeling like something was missing. The chrysanthemum salad is the real deal. Buried under a mountain of parmesan with a punchy dressing, it is bright and textural and honestly the best thing we ordered. Get it without question. The crudo was also a highlight: fresh, delicate, well-balanced. My only complaint is that it was gone in about four bites. The garlic flatbread, which is supposed to be a crowd-pleaser, came out genuinely soggy in the middle. Not in a good way. The edges delivered but the center just didn't hold up. And then there's the lasagna, the dish everyone tells you to order. The pinwheel presentation is adorable and I get why it photographs so well. But ours was sausage-forward to a fault, light on cheese, and swimming in a sauce that just didn't have much to say. For the restaurant's signature dish, it felt like a letdown. Don Angie is perfectly good. It is not a bad meal. But for the effort it takes to get a table, I expected more than a few memorable moments scattered across an otherwise forgettable spread.

Not something a party of two would be able to east, so we skipped apps altogether. Sucks too, because several tables had it and it liked amazing, just too much for two. For dinner I had the Yemeni Au Police Kebab, Filet Mignon which was absolutely delicious. The peppercorn Hawaii really sweetened the meat's flavor. So high marks for the steak. Very pricey, beautiful atmosphere (if you get a nice table) and maybe a place that's better for a group than a couple.
