I have several Rosehearted dresses and sweaters that are in constant, probably weekly, rotation in my closet year round and love them all, the quality holds up and most dresses have pockets!! The cost is totally reasonable for every item too, and I'm known for being pretty frugal. In shop, there are also non-clothing items that were just so cute and fit the vibe, I wanted to buy them all but left with just my new favorite (handmade!) scrunchie, lip balm in a delicious honeysuckle scent, and a sweet little notebook. Rosehearted makes you feel like you might just wake up tomorrow on a perfect spring day and spend the afternoon reading poetry, painting wildflowers, and having a picnic in a quiet meadow.

I came in on a Friday morning to look around for fun after seeing Esme & Elodie's active IG, and walked away with six new pieces of clothing. It was hard to narrow it down to just six! I purchased 2 pairs of jeans, 2 dresses, a blouse and a shawl. Everything is comfortable and complimentary. Emily was so kind-not only did she help me in choosing items to try on, but she also helped give me great styling tips at my request, and take risks with what I tried on. She was honest and friendly in her observations about how each piece looked. I have never felt so confident trying on new clothes and I left feeling beautiful and fierce. I can't come back soon enough for more! This is a boutique I could and do recommend to absolutely everyone! Esme & Elodie also carries jewelry, cards, and some home goods. This is a perfect stop for a wardrobe makeover AND gifts (or goodies for yourself). Their website and IG are great as well.

Since I was staying not-that-far-away, I popped in right after they opened! I was blown away by the sheer size of this place. It looks small on the outside, but it's quite spacious and they literally carry everything. From their designer and vintage sections to a large shoe area, tons of jewelry, handbags, and of course plus size clothing, there was a LOT to occupy my time. When I arrived, the kind woman at the counter gave me the lay of the land, and then I was set free to explore the store. The other two staff members were extremely helpful, too, as I loaded my arms with all sorts of things to try on. I ended up leaving with the aforementioned pink sweater (phew!) and a couple of other things. This is the kind of place you definitely want to keep coming back to, as their inventory is always changing. Prices were on the medium-high side, but that's just the way of the world right now it seems.

So I was glad I was able to check out this new store that opened up in the Tacoma Mall. There are lots of Asian, specifically Chinese brands of toys like Skullpanda and Dimoo but there are also some American characters here as well. Over all I was not too familiar with most of the characters, brands or merchandise however. I come I suppose from a different generation of toys with a heavy preference towards action figures which the merchandise isn't quite that as some of it comes across to me as frail or delicate so I imagine it is intended for display purposes only and perhaps even keep it still in the box. It's still a really cool store and there is all sorts of merch options to absorb despite getting the realization that I may have been "aged out" on some of this stuff by not knowing all of the references, books or origins of where some of this stuff is from. But despite that it's a cool place to go to check out what they have.
