This cute old orchard, gift shop, local shop (soaps, honey, sauces, fudge...) and antique shop was great. They have canned sparkling cider to buy there, buy a case! I regret only grabbing one! I want 100! Very cute place with a lot to see and buy. Very nice staff. I bought a drawing from a local artist too.

There were no pick your own apples, but you could get pre-picked apples and put them in a bag to purchase. I got overcharged - bought 1 peck and charged for 1 and .5 pecks, they said there was nothing they could do. Employees were walking around, but were not interested in helping people, or pointing people in the right direction. The apple cider donuts were good - and thankfully I was able to get a hot bag, but the employee was frustrated that I asked if there were any hot apple cider donuts. And while the donuts were good, it was odd to see there were a bunch of artificial colors in the ingredients. Overall, it was a disappointing visit - and I will try another orchard next time.

I grew up coming to this orchard for the penny candy, apple dumplings and the play ground. The group of people who have run this Orchard are what made me come back as an adult and raised my children on this playground, picked our apples here, shared dumplings between us and yes, always the penny candy. Jams that came years later, honey combs and the fun treasure trove of a small indoor "yard sale". And who can remember the haunted maze inside all those years ago??? Good times As an adult and having friends across the pond, they were able to ship apples internationally that friends in Europe could try apples they don't grow. Yes, I recommend Brookfield Orchards

What a fun day! We are rolling in apples now. We got Macintosh, Empire, and Cortland. The cider donuts were delicious, hot and coated in cinnamon sugar. Fun rock band, hay ride (not horse drawn), face painting, antique type of gift shop selling homemade pumpkin bread etc. We got a loaf with raisins-- it's so great warmed a bit with a cuppa tea.

Great local orchard that has stayed true to their routes over the many years! They have a good amount of trees to pick from. They also have tons of apples fresh picked that day for sale in their store. Their store has some baked goods, apple cider, antiques and gifts. It is very fun to walk around and see all the different and unique things they have. They have the best apple dumplings you will ever try and for an awesome price.

100 years old, Gotta try the hot apple dumplings...they come with French vanillaicecream...yum... Pick ur own or buy it he in the gift shop

We tried the cheese plate with lovely bit of Chicory dressed perfectly, delicious raspberry compote, the Bread and Butter, oh that butter!! Mmm! Duck fat potatoes were very good, my husband had the Beet Salad and Lamb Ragu, I had the fresh pasta with sun dried tomatoes, scallions in a burre blanc. It was delicious (slightly salty to me) but I enjoyed it. For dessert we both enjoyed coffee and vanilla ice cream with maple syrup. This was the perfect choice for our anniversary dinner. It was an hour drive for us but I feel it was worth the trek.

I work at Day Kimball Hospital & We had our Christmas Party here for our family's we served last…read moreyear and apparently our team can't get enough of this property and the amazing farm to table meals prepared by chef Brian. The property is an idyllic historical farm & farmhouse situated on multiple acres on a picturesque rural piece of land that could definitely be the cover of a postcard! Everyone we encountered who is a part of Little Dipper Farm has been great! We even hosted one of our kids/family events here and it was one of the parent's absolute favorites! We made salsa and everything we utilized for the recipe was grown on this property and was literally picked moments before and as fresh as could be. Everyone really enjoyed the salsa & I brought some home to my son who literally ate the entire jar in one setting citing it as the "Best Salsa I've ever had"! So as I mentioned above, the food here is Farm to Table which means it's all grown here on site - but if it's not it's grown nearby at another farm or typically somewhere local to the area. I believe Sara is in charge of the vegetables and tending the garden and Brian is the mastermind Chef, a graduate of JWU- he is extremely talented and out of the various times I've eaten here (3-6x minimum now)- I have never eaten anything that wasn't delicious! Seriously- Brian could make the most boring and bland item- taste amazing! He truly has a gift & if you haven't been here I highly suggest you check it out! They do dinners I believe Thursday-Saturday 4-10pm! They also host events here from weddings to party's etc! The decor inside is a Vintage farmhouse style which, combines the warm and welcoming friendliness of the farmhouse with historic design and decor from eras in the past. The American farmhouse itself dates back as far as the early American colonies in the 1600s. The historical architectural post and beam elements and the setup of the barn definitely transports you back to another time period when things were much simpler, but with updated restrooms and fixtures- it has both modern amenities with that historical style/feel. Overall- if you have never been here, I would definitely recommend it! Or if you're interested in having an event here- they are really great and will accommodate a variety of budgets! Check it out! I would definitely rate 5+ stars- if I could!
