My husband and I looked at a number of places in Sonoma, Napa and Vacaville and VVL was by far the cleanest and most welcoming community we saw. She has dietary restrictions and the cook had no problem with adjusting her meals, making sure she liked what she ate, and helped to keep her favorites on hand. Staff and residents present did not represent the demographic of the area but its also pretty expensive. This is a CCRC meaning you pay a hefty fee before moving in, and you also pay monthly fees. The minimum admittance fee is around $450k per person! They do provide for your needs as you progress from Independent Living to Skilled Nursing (if needed). The place appeared clean and the lawns were well manicured.

The staff is continually monitoring the needs of residents to make us feel like the community it is. They are always looking for resident input. PVE is over 70 acres of beautifully maintained landscaping and trees - making walks with our pets a time of relaxation. The fact that everything is included in one price makes it very easy to budget. We welcome our guests and family to visit as it is fun to show them around the Suisun Valley wine country 15 minutes away.

I have lived at Cogir for nearly 6 months. In that six months, my health and breathing have gotten considerably worse. I'm unable to gather up the energy to do much of anything. I have COPD. Exposure to mold could send me to the hospital. I am trying to move out, Cogir insists on a 60 day notice. They will not make an exception for the health risk to their residents. If you're looking for a nice place for your elderly parents or yourself, I would look for a better facility

Wow so if you're love one get stuck on a chair they will not do something, you have to call ambulance. Unbelievable place. No sympathy at all to elders especially LORI she does not deserve to be a director! I am just waiting for another facility to be available, I can't wait to move my dad. Directors like LORI needs to know and change her attitude how she treats elderly, because it might get back to her when she will be at their age. This is a NO! NO! facility no wonder ownership change a lot!!!
