The atmosphere is family-friendly. She has dietary restrictions and the cook had no problem with adjusting her meals, making sure she liked what she ate, and helped to keep her favorites on hand. The first thing I noticed was Deji the owner, he was very attentive and wanted to accommodate us in every way possible. The property is so beautiful and serene. My mom was there for almost 2-months and they had 24/7 staffing. We were also there 24/7 and was able to get the Hospice assistance of VITAS Care. Together they made my mom's quality of life comfortable and the feeling of being taken cared of. We were very happy and grateful for finding this place. Deji, his wife, all the staff and VITAS staff were very kind and attentive to my mom during those past 2 months. There are only a few patients there so you do get a lot of one-on-one time. My mom enjoyed looking out into the serene backyard and hearing the birds chirping. She also loved the spacious room "The Suite" that accommodated all our family when they came to visit. Dad has only been here for a few months but everything has been going great, questions always answered and requests have been met. Dad is fairly younger than the majority with memory impairment but the staff really help make him feel at home. Maria, who tends to dad's apartment has been really good to him and someone he looks forward to seeing. Shelly, the administrator has also been very helpful and accommodating. Dad always mentions how clean and well kept the building is and that maintenance staff is always someone he can go to. Dad is not one to join in on activities right now but as an Activity Director myself, they do an amazing job with special events and a full, well rounded activity calendar. So far so good.
