They are open to suggestions - I have a 40+ professional nursing career:) I am grateful for the individualized approach and the quick response to any changes they notice, so I can take action and get the care needed. I terminated the services of Amada after suffering incompetent caregivers (if or when they showed up) and my VISA account being grossly overcharged. Amada attempted to sue me(extort) an additional $10,000.00 for a, NON EXISTANT, contract violation. I COUNTER SUED for $12,500.00 and was awarded a judgment that has been met with reluctence to pay, well under what was taken from me. Unfortunately, my mother became ill and was hospitalized after just one caregiver visit, but I continued to use their services while I cared for my mom when she was on Hospice Care. I was able to meet every caregiver and found them all to be very professional and pleasant, they helped me with whatever care I needed that day, even if it was just to keep an eye on my mom while she slept so that I could run errands or rest. Since the type of care for my mom varied from day to day, they were very helpful with scheduling visits until my mom passed away. After my mom passed away, Alan sent me a gorgeous flower arrangement along with a very thoughtful and caring email. Together they made my mom's quality of life comfortable and the feeling of being taken cared of. We were very happy and grateful for finding this place. Deji, his wife, all the staff and VITAS staff were very kind and attentive to my mom during those past 2 months. There are only a few patients there so you do get a lot of one-on-one time. However, she was steered to another facility in Fremont that filled all of her specifications and then some (primarily an Asian community). She sadly passed in April 2019.
