My wife and I bought a home in Saddlebrooke Ranch and moved in Oct 2024. The buying process was…read moredisappointing in that what you see in the models is not at all what you get. We made selections for wall color and cabinet color and during the process we were told the color for walls was no longer available. The new wall color was so close to the kitchen cabinets color that we had no contrast. We asked if Robson could repaint the cabinets and the answer was no. So we hired a company to repaint the kitchen cabinets at the cost of $4000. We had picked our pavers and during the build / design process and Robson said that brand was no longer available so we had to pick a new style/color and brand. There was no clear understanding of price difference so no compensation. There were a number of items, mirrors and medicine cabinets that we said we did not want but no credit for those items. We planned to upscale mirrors but nothing was available thru Robson. We met with the electrical company Aterra and during that process found out that models had four can lights per each bedroom and den, only to find out that only two were standard per room. So a substantial increase in price per room to have four. That is not disclosed as are many items in the models. We paid thru the standard price for phone jacks for landline, not landline is available. Cell service is so bad in the development that we have to use WiFi to improve cell coverage. This is a safety issue. Only one company is recommended for internet and that is Orbitel, no other options. Design center items are substantially marked up to bolster the profit margins. The percentage of design options to purchase price is way understated. It was stated 20-25%. The build process was very slow, workmanship / quality of finish was poor. Total build time was 14 months from commitment to purchase. This required us to rent back our Colorado home for 5 months. We had our home inspected by a local quality inspector that has worked in the communities for 20 years and found 49 pages of issues that were presented to the Robson "Customer Care Group" for the 11th month warranty process. The corrections process was poor at best and quality, especially paint and finish was done by multiple trades to correct nail pops, trim issues, doors that would not close. They used the wrong paint types and colors that required multiple visits to correct. Still not correct! Multiple customer care representatives that never carried over details from one rep to another and that lead to poor customer care coordination. Our last customer care person John R did not coordinate the trades or provide the details from our paid for inspection report so it was difficult for the trades to know what they were to do. We love the community and the amenities and the people that live here. We paid a good sum of money for a home that is mostly a tract home. I would give a failing mark to the sales and Customer Care group. Robson has missed the mark of quality in many ways. We would not recommend Robson Saddlebrooke Ranch. Its original concept has been lost over the years. Irv and Karen C

Some of the therapists are amazing, others not so much. It is very expensive, and the financial side of the facility is unprofessional and rude. There was major miscommunication and they outright ignored my multiple calls and emails before sending my account to collections after insurance paid their part. I learned that in the second half of 2025, major corporate changes gutted the first responder program (called Red, White & Blue, or RWB), and they increased the patient to staff ratio to unsafe levels. So very sad. It's a gorgeous facility and the clinical staff is exceptional. So while my healthcare was fantastic at that time, I'd be wary and look at other options, especially veterans and first responders, as that program has been gutted.

I was a patient at Sierra Tucson for one month in July 2021…read more It has taken me almost five years to write this because my experience there was so traumatic. I went there for help with severe chronic pain, depression, and trauma, and I left feeling much worse, not better. From the very beginning, I experienced a lack of professionalism and care. I was picked up from the airport by a staff member who immediately asked me if I smoked so he could smoke on the drive. The van smelled heavily of cigarette smoke the entire hour-long ride. That was my introduction to a place that claims to prioritize health and healing. My first night, after finally falling asleep around midnight, I was woken at 2 am when a staff member turned on all the lights and loudly announced I had a roommate. I woke up in a full trauma response. I was there to heal trauma, not be retraumatized. Within the first couple of days, I spoke with staff to try to arrange to leave. There were so many red flags within the first 24 hours, and it was pretty clear that this was not going to be a healing experience for me. I wanted to leave. They quickly arranged a meeting for me with one of the higher ups and he manipulated me into staying, taking advantage of my vulnerable state. If I had been in a better state of mind, I would have booked a flight home immediately. The environment was chaotic and disorganized. My toilet ran nonstop for over a week despite multiple reports. Staffing was inadequate, and there were many times I needed support and had to wait hours to speak to someone. The scheduling was a constant issue and incredibly stressful and exhausting. My schedule was almost always wrong, so every morning I had to go to the scheduling desk to get it corrected. I often had to wait because the staff were almost always late, and when they did arrive, they were unfriendly and unhelpful. I waited for appointments that didn't exist and missed ones that were never properly scheduled. I was told before coming that I would receive EMDR, which was one of the main reasons I chose this facility. After weeks of asking, I was eventually told I would not be getting it at all. I submitted many written complaints during my stay, and nothing was ever addressed. There was no accountability or follow-through. The financial aspect was incredibly misleading and exploitative. My family paid $45,000 for my stay. Only after arriving did I learn that many of the "integrative services" presented on their website were not included and required an additional $2,500 to access. By that point, I had already rearranged my life to be there for a month and had already committed financially, so I reluctantly paid the extra money. The additional services were not worth it. It was a bait-and-switch. There were also serious issues with professionalism and basic respect. My belongings were damaged, including my ukulele. A $45,000 check from my father was lost for over a week. I also overheard staff gossiping about me which was shocking, emotionally painful, and deeply inappropriate in a treatment setting. My experience with my individual therapist Minnie was very unprofessional and harmful. She was unkind and unsympathetic and shared personal information with my father without my consent, including information that was completely untrue, which caused serious harm in my family. There were many situations that were actively retraumatizing rather than therapeutic. During my stay, a patient died by suicide in a room just a couple doors down from mine. One minute I was sitting across from her at dinner, and the very next morning I found out that she had hung herself in her room the night before. That alone speaks to the level of safety and support in the environment, and it had a profound emotional impact on me while I was already in a vulnerable state. Even the programming did not match what was advertised. Even the programming did not match what was presented. For example, "equine therapy" consisted of a single brief session where we all stood around and briefly touched a horse. That was the extent of it. When I got home, I immediately wrote to Sierra Tucson and provided detailed documentation of everything that had happened and asked for my money back. I did not receive any resolution. Overall, I spent a significant amount of time trying to advocate for basic aspects of my care while dealing with chronic pain and emotional distress. I spent an enormous amount of time trying to fix issues that should never have been my responsibility. It was incredibly frustrating and exhausting. Instead of being able to focus on healing, I was dealing with constant stress, instability, and emotional harm, which made my condition worse. People come to places like this when they are at their most vulnerable. What I experienced was not just disappointing, it was deeply harmful.

I wish our experience had ended as positively as it began, but unfortunately, this left us feeling frustrated and disappointed. If you are considering Elder Health, I would recommend ensuring you have a backup plan in case something similar happens. There are other concierge doctors and they are less costly. ElderHealth is a concierge service, but for the standard fee my parents get housecalls, frequent wellness check-ins, and an entire team looking after and coordinating every aspect of their care. The ElderHealth team consists of Dr. Self, two wonderful nurse practitioners, and a social worker, and will bring in any service their patient might need, including music therapy and a nurse specializing in geriatric psychiatry. Before ElderHealth, my parents had a patchwork of specialists and had frequent problems when doctors didn't communicate with each other. Dr. Self and ElderHealth offer complete care coordination. They do everything possible to minimize hospital and office visits, bringing monitors and testing service to my folks' home. ElderHealth is a model of what medical care should look like.

Without coming to us and letting us know beforehand. What was offered in the program that got us to pick this place were taken away without any warning. They changed our schedules, We weren't offered any kind of therapy meditation that we had had the first two weeks. The CEO Clayton was a complete asshole to residents he is totally on a power trip he disregarded all of us like we were lesser than. They accept all dogs as service dogs so we had them pissing on the floor barking being aggressive towards other dogs. They were not service dogs. Thank goodness for a couple emotional support dogs that were older or being trained because they helped so many through this mess. I would never recommend this place to anyone. However, the therapist I had were absolutely top-notch and some of the best staff and nurses who truly cared about us were there.
