We love Bronco's! And Bronco's makes us feel like they love us. Several servers know us and know some of regular orders. Which by the way, the Guacamole Azteca is the best! We love this fresh avocado with fresh lime, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and jalapeño. It's always bright and fresh. Just what you need on a warm day. We always add some hotter salsa from the salsa bar to it for an extra kick! Every dish we have had at Bronco's has been delicious. Some of our favorites are the Tacos de Carne Asada, Carnitas Mexicano, too many steak and chicken dishes to list AND my creation Hard Shell Taco with Shredded Chicken/Lettuce/Tomato. The place needs a little sprucing up as it looks similar to when I was last there 13 years ago! I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was, though. I ordered the El Pollo Norteno, and I could not get enough of it. I ate the leftovers for breakfast! Staff were all very friendly and would definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

Me and my wife stopped coming here because their size and quality of the big chicken burrito we always used to order has gotten worse. They skimp out on the toppings and queso sauce now and it's such a shame. We used to like coming here. Maybe it's the economy or management or chef changes but too bad. I am not a Mexican food fanatic, so don't take this review too seriously. Have been to Bronco's three times since moving to Woodruff early this year. The service has been excellent each time and I like the practice of giving each person their individual salsa with the choice of mild or hot. The food was as good as any other Mexican food I have tasted but I tend to go the route of tacos and burritos. The atmosphere is good if you enjoy a social evening with friends. read more

Service and food were horrible, Had to ask 4 times to take my order and the waitress that finally took it acted upset to do so. Had to almost beg for chips and salsa and the salsa bar was wiped out. People were standing around not busy. Finally got are food 30 minutes later (unheard of for a Mexican Restaurant) cold and gross couldnt flag a waitress down to tell them they forgot are cheese dip and the food was cold. While I do enjoy the food at Broncos, it's not good enough to overcome horrible customer service. Twice this week I have placed to go orders and twice this week I have found myself greatly disappointed. It appears to me that no thought is put into scheduling and the amount of time you are told on the phone to expect to wait on your food is greatly understated. With Covid around restaurants should expect more call in orders and plan accordingly. We are on our way to the beach and I had a hankering for Mexican food. Thanks to the yelp app and the review of a another yelper, we ended up here. It was about 10 mins off the interstate (closer to 15 with the detour) and it hit the spot. You have the option to choose hot or mild salsa (both tasty) and the pineapple bomber was delicious. It was only $4.75 for a "small" which was closer in size to a large and half the price of a mixed drink back home. My husband got the burrito macho without meat and it was one of the better vegetarian burritos we have tried at any Mexican restaurant. It was covered in an array of fajita vegetables, red sauce, and queso. I am only giving this place 4 stars because I ordered the combination 7 (chile relleno, cheese enchilada, beans, and rice) and it was your average run-of-the-mill Mexican food. read more

I live in Texas... how can my favorite Mexican restaurant be in tiny Woodruff South Carolina? I don't know honestly, but it is! This place is so good. Whenever I visit my mother we have to stop here at least once or more on my trip. I get the vegetarian fajitas which are filled with perfectly spiced veggies, even some unexpected ones like carrots and cauliflower. They have a whole vegetarian section on their menu which is really nice, and of course there are plenty of dishes for the carnivorous. The fried ice cream though, oooooh my, is up there on my favorite desserts ever list. It doesn't look all that impressive, but it is just yummy, and hands down the best one I've had anywhere. The complimentary chips and salsa are a but disappointing. Chips are room temperature with no salt or seasoning. The salsa has been blended to oblivion. It does however have decent flavor to it. The menu is entirely too large (TEN PAGES). It would likely take you thirty minutes to read the menu if you timed yourself. I order the # 25 combination (yes I too could not believe how many "combinations" they put on their menu). Combination 25: Unseasoned rice that tastes like it's instant rice (very dry and clumped together). Instant beans with a slight bit of added hot sauce and over salted and the burrito and enchilada I could tell no difference between aside from size because all either had was poorly seasoned beef. The red topping sauce came from a can (very reminiscent of Chef Boyardee). Sent the whole mess back. Ordered three hard shell tacos. Cheese was not fresh and came from a bag which was clumped together over the tacos and accompanied with the same beef. At least the lettuce was fresh. The staff was nice and my waiter was alright but nothing can make up for poor food. One star. Sorry Bronco, you have great employees but you just have to learn how to cook fresh. This is my Favorite Family owned and operated Mexican restaurant around. Food is always delicious and the service is superb. On one side of the room it has an open bar with a large flatscreen TV which is secluded for a friendly family environment on the other with plenty of room and seating to accommodate a large crowd. I've been coming here for years since first opened and always find it welcoming, nice, and a super clean place to satisfy your Mexican taste buds.
