Thursday evening my wife and I stopped off at Bronco's in Woodruff for an early dinner. I tried the Pollo con Creama for the first time. The dish was tasty and filling but I think I prefer the Carnitas. My wife had the 3 soft tacos and was totally satisfied with her selection. The service at Bronco's is consistently good and the staff are friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! read more

We love Bronco's! And Bronco's makes us feel like they love us. Several servers know us and know some of regular orders. Which by the way, the Guacamole Azteca is the best! We love this fresh avocado with fresh lime, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and jalapeño. It's always bright and fresh. Just what you need on a warm day. We always add some hotter salsa from the salsa bar to it for an extra kick! Every dish we have had at Bronco's has been delicious. Some of our favorites are the Tacos de Carne Asada, Carnitas Mexicano, too many steak and chicken dishes to list AND my creation Hard Shell Taco with Shredded Chicken/Lettuce/Tomato. If only they would have shredded beef tacos, that is one thing I miss from California. Thank you to the entire staff at Bronco's for making us feel at home each time we visit. See you again this week . read more

The place needs a little sprucing up as it looks similar to when I was last there 13 years ago! I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious the food was, though. I ordered the El Pollo Norteno, and I could not get enough of it. I ate the leftovers for breakfast! Staff were all very friendly and would definitely recommend if you're in the area. read more

Service/Costumer service is good. Location is good and parking is easy Food on the other hand pretty bland. It needs more flavor. It's just not a good Mexican cuisine in my opinion. The only thing I really enjoyed at this restaurant was the salsa bar. Plenty of different options of salsas to eat with your chips and kinda help out with the bland taste of the food. read more

Love this place. The fajitas are the best! Service is great too. Ambiance....its Mexican style inspired. It works. Very reasonably priced. read more

Me and my wife stopped coming here because their size and quality of the big chicken burrito we always used to order has gotten worse. They skimp out on the toppings and queso sauce now and it's such a shame. We used to like coming here. Maybe it's the economy or management or chef changes but too bad. The staff is still nice though. read more

I am not a Mexican food fanatic, so don't take this review too seriously. Have been to Bronco's three times since moving to Woodruff early this year. The service has been excellent each time and I like the practice of giving each person their individual salsa with the choice of mild or hot. The food was as good as any other Mexican food I have tasted but I tend to go the route of tacos and burritos. The atmosphere is good if you enjoy a social evening with friends. read more

First time going here. It was good. To me my food was a little bland not much flavor. There was so much grease from the beef in the shell of my taco salad. read more

Food was bland, service was great! We met some friends there so the ambiance was good as well. Steak was dry and unflavored. read more

Bronco Mexican Restaurant - half eaten pizza and half eaten pizza - Mexican Near Me - Woodruff, South Carolina

This is some great Tex mex food and is a good price. Can't beat it. Gets very busy so be prepared for that. Parking lot is a pain to get out

Great little Mexican place in the middle of tiny Woodruff. No complaints here when I can get a great meal for $6.99, along with chips and salsa bar and a very good Margarita (16 oz) for $7.99. The premises is very clean, the food very good and the staff delightful. Couldn't ask for much more. 3 Cheers! read more

Service and food were horrible, Had to ask 4 times to take my order and the waitress that finally took it acted upset to do so. Had to almost beg for chips and salsa and the salsa bar was wiped out. People were standing around not busy. Finally got are food 30 minutes later (unheard of for a Mexican Restaurant) cold and gross couldnt flag a waitress down to tell them they forgot are cheese dip and the food was cold. First time in my 60 years I didnt want to pay for that nasty food. I seldom write a review but I have tried this place 3 times all of them a horrible experience. Only two Mexican Restaurants in Woodruff and I would of went to the other one but it was closed 7/3 Never again will I eat in this nasty place and I drive Rideshare and will make sure everyone knows my opinion of this place. read more

We usually get takeout from here and really enjoy it. Service staff is friendly whether you are getting takeout or dining inside.

Food is fresh and delicious! They have the best chips served warm with a salsa bar available for a variety of sauces. The service is super friendly and fast. The prices are super reasonable. read more

We love Broncos! We have known Claudio and his crew since he first come to Woodruff in the mid 90's. For us, the service is always good and the wait staff is always friendly! When they get to know you, they treat you like family! If you've never been, you should try them out. read more

Everything is great - food, service, atmosphere, and pricing. I come here once a week and have always had a positive experience.

Great food and great service! Never disappointed with anything I've gotten there and service is always friendly.

Always check the menu prices...better yet. Keep a menu at the table so you can check the bill. We quit for that reason. Gave them 3 chances to prove it was an honest mistake...they didn't take one of those chances. Over-charged us every single time. read more

Always a friendly staff and the food is always great! Drinks are awesome and the bartenders are so nice. Don't go on Friday night during football season if you don't like crowds, small town and it can't be helped. But always a favorite place to go! read more

While I do enjoy the food at Broncos, it's not good enough to overcome horrible customer service. Twice this week I have placed to go orders and twice this week I have found myself greatly disappointed. It appears to me that no thought is put into scheduling and the amount of time you are told on the phone to expect to wait on your food is greatly understated. With Covid around restaurants should expect more call in orders and plan accordingly. Don't visit this restaurant unless you have a lot of time to spend waiting...and waiting....and waiting... read more

We are on our way to the beach and I had a hankering for Mexican food. Thanks to the yelp app and the review of a another yelper, we ended up here. It was about 10 mins off the interstate (closer to 15 with the detour) and it hit the spot. You have the option to choose hot or mild salsa (both tasty) and the pineapple bomber was delicious. It was only $4.75 for a "small" which was closer in size to a large and half the price of a mixed drink back home. My husband got the burrito macho without meat and it was one of the better vegetarian burritos we have tried at any Mexican restaurant. It was covered in an array of fajita vegetables, red sauce, and queso. I am only giving this place 4 stars because I ordered the combination 7 (chile relleno, cheese enchilada, beans, and rice) and it was your average run-of-the-mill Mexican food. read more

I live in Texas... how can my favorite Mexican restaurant be in tiny Woodruff South Carolina? I don't know honestly, but it is! This place is so good. Whenever I visit my mother we have to stop here at least once or more on my trip. I get the vegetarian fajitas which are filled with perfectly spiced veggies, even some unexpected ones like carrots and cauliflower. They have a whole vegetarian section on their menu which is really nice, and of course there are plenty of dishes for the carnivorous. The fried ice cream though, oooooh my, is up there on my favorite desserts ever list. It doesn't look all that impressive, but it is just yummy, and hands down the best one I've had anywhere. The staff is always super friendly too. This place is always packed, and for good reason. read more

I have no clue how this place stays so busy. We gave this place several chances with different dishes. The fajita meat was burnt and dry. The chicken was the same way. The taco beef has no seasoning. The salsa tastes like marinara. For authentic Mexican food I'm really surprised by the lack of flavor and dry meats. Won't be back. 2 stars only due to the friendly staff. read more

Great food & drinks and friendly staff. I eat there at least once a week! I live in Woodruff and that location is my favorite!

The complimentary chips and salsa are a but disappointing. Chips are room temperature with no salt or seasoning. The salsa has been blended to oblivion. It does however have decent flavor to it. The menu is entirely too large (TEN PAGES). It would likely take you thirty minutes to read the menu if you timed yourself. I order the # 25 combination (yes I too could not believe how many "combinations" they put on their menu). Combination 25: Unseasoned rice that tastes like it's instant rice (very dry and clumped together). Instant beans with a slight bit of added hot sauce and over salted and the burrito and enchilada I could tell no difference between aside from size because all either had was poorly seasoned beef. The red topping sauce came from a can (very reminiscent of Chef Boyardee). Sent the whole mess back. Ordered three hard shell tacos. Cheese was not fresh and came from a bag which was clumped together over the tacos and accompanied with the same beef. At least the lettuce was fresh. The staff was nice and my waiter was alright but nothing can make up for poor food. One star. Sorry Bronco, you have great employees but you just have to learn how to cook fresh. That's what customers want in any restaurant! read more

Best Mexican food around. Great service and the food is always hot and fresh. The salsa bar is also awesome lots of different heat levels including one that will blow your face out. My advice is to try the salsa in small dip before you big dip or you may regret it. I highly recommend Bronco. read more

The food was pretty good, service was just slow. Paying the check took a good 15 minutes and the line to pay was between the kitchen and the tables so servers were trying to get past the large queue every few seconds. Other than that I had a good experience here and would come back. read more

HORRIBLE! Placed my order in the parking lot (COVID-19). Waited 20-30 minutes for four tacos! $8 for small luke warm tacos! One of my tacos had the filling in the box, not the taco. Greasy, bland and textureless. My 11 year can make better. NEVER AGAIN EVER! read more

They're constantly adding new things to their menu. They have a pineapple with pork dish that is just out of this world. It's more than you can eat but it's wonderful you wouldn't believe such good Mexican food would be in such a tiny town. The place is packed on the weekends.
