We didn't come for the customer service. In/out 10 mins. Be nice to see his 73' on the road someday.

I have never written a review in my entire life until this moment. The hostility and lack of customer service I received when trying to get a safety check here was so absurd that I thought it was fake. The owner is one of the most I kind humans I have met in my life. I do not recommend this place to anyone, please go to their competition around the corner called All Stars Garage. This place won't last long read more

good service good value timely very thorough highly recommend always come back i like that they send a reminder card read more

Had a little mishap here with our car and Robert was so kind and helped us. Didn't want to charge us but we insisted and it was very budget friendly. Thank you guys for your help you've definitely earned a regular read more

Gentle kind helpful service is all I ever get from Bronco garage when I'm bringing my car for its yearly inspection.

Went here and it was nice. The shop was helpful, quick, and easy to get a safety check done. First come first serve. $26 cash only though!

I found this place on a list of garages that did official state safety inspections required for new car registration. The owner was fantastic! He did the preliminary inspection timely, then outlined the rest of the process and gave me a couple of tips that saved us time overall. The required follow-up after the DMV was quick and painless. read more

We always go to Robert for our safety checks. No need for a appointment. His Saturday hours really work for us. ( call and check - not open every Saturday ) We are always in and out in a snap . Great location in Kihei close to the Tesoro. We bring all our cars and motorcycles here. read more

I loved this place and will be back next month for my safety check! The owner saved me money and a headache! My safety check doesn't expire till March, and I came in February. If he would've completed it then and I'd be out of sync with my car registration. I will wait for March and get it done then so the safety check and registration happened in the same month. TMI but makes good sense! Plenty mahalos~ read more

Super easy and fast. We got there a few minutes before he opened and there was only one person ahead of us. Once he started on us we were down within 8 minutes. Inspections is all he does. He's a pro. read more

It's just a safety check guys! I never observed rudeness but many folks like myself have presented accidentally expired paperwork. I found if you are nice he was very nice. If you act the part of a Karen, well you perhaps getting back what you dished out. read more

Rude, Rude, Rude! Reading his reviews, I see that he must occasionally be nice but that was not my experience. I also see that when reviewers have called him on his rudeness he always blames the reviewer. You can do that. You can blame me for not having the proper proof of insurance handy but that is no excuse for rudeness. Try asking nicely for what you require. I won't be back! read more

I'm accustomed to what I have come to call "Maui service"...long lines, delays, indifference, and the like. But the customer service here--if you can call it that--was next level bad. I felt like Robert was surly and rude to me...and I'm not a particularly thin-skinned person. I won't reward his behavior with more business. The guy down the street at All Stars Garage is much nicer. read more

I always dread when it's time for my safety check because with most places it's all about going at the right time before there's a line, which usually means getting there a couple minutes before they open. Well, this time I didn't feel like driving into town to my usual spot, so I looked for one near my work place, so I could just go during then. Thanks to yelp I found two very close by, one whose reviews weren't that good & this one, which made my decision very easy. I saw they opened at 9:00, so I got there around 9:15 & to my surprise there was no one there!! Yesssss!! Signage was very clear you park your car in the stall & go through the door. Make sure you have all your papers in hand ready to go with your cash. I was then asked for my keys & my car was driven into the garage, where he then performed all the needed tasks. Even better, I didn't even have to do a thing. My car was driven back out & I was outta there in no time. Highly recommended if you live in the Kihei area! read more

I needed to get our safety check done for our car so I started doing a bit of research. Bronco Garage was at the top of the list and close to our condo. I had a few meetings in the morning that dragged on a bit longer than I had hoped which pushed me into the lunch hour. It was raining a bit so I decided to just get the safety check done and try to go to the beach later. Solid choice! When I showed up they were just finishing up the car prior to me and the gentleman at the counter was very efficient and wasted no words. "Registration and insurance". I had both in my hand and we were on our way. After he input some info into his computer he asked for the keys. Our car was pulled in, given the once over, and the process was soon done. He called out from behind the counter "$26". I handed over some cash. The new sticker was placed, paperwork was handed back to me, and I was on my way. Couldn't have been any easier or more efficient. I will be returning each and every year. Thanks for being great at your job! read more

Avoid if you value being treated like a human being. There's nowhere to park and no signage to tell you where to park. I pulled up and I'm greeted by a rude man yelling that I cannot park there that I need to move and that he cannot do my inspection because my license plate is not mounted on the front of my car when I explained that it has been taped before he yells at me who who like he's a darn owl . Then he starts yelling that he doesn't have what I need. I don't need to be yelled at I will go somewhere else gladly . Rude, unfriendly and truly unhelpful. Piss poor customer service. Go somewhere else the reviews are deceiving. You shouldn't yell at people and raise your hands when you don't have an answer. read more

These guys are great, quick and painless safety inspections in a great location! Highly recommend!

Terribly service. No aloha here. Bruddah who owns the shop took long time to give my car a safety check and smeared his used gum on my passenger seat. don't go here, a waste of money. Go to the other car shops. Bruddah bronco you won stinky guy. read more

The rudest customer service I have experienced on island in years. I walked out snd will never return. This guy copied his old employers business (just around the corner), and almost their brand name. This guy Robert should not be in business in my estimation. He couldn't be polite or helpful if his life depended on it. Head around the corner to the other shop, All Star Garage, they were helpful, friendly and fast! read more

Be ready for a no nonsense businessman. He's busy and is straight forward but isn't rude. He does vehicle inspections quickly and efficiently. Just don't go there looking to shoot the breeze or make a lifelong friend. read more

We got right in for our safety inspection. The owner was very professional, helpful and friendly. This is the only place we will go for our annual inspection. Highly recommended. read more

Super fast service, friendly and inexpensive ($26 only). Highly recommend!! We will definitely use them again.

I've been here 4 times with my car and my wife's for safety inspections, no problem in and out. Today I go in, go around the front of my car notice my plate bent down from a car wash I just had. I bend it back up into place turn around and noticed him shaking his head like I did something wrong. I asked him why he's shaking his head at me ?I guess he thought I had it taped on. The plate is bolted on the front no problem before. I felt like he was getting confrontational. I don't know why you would treat a customer like this,It made me so uncomfortable. read more

A great place to get safety inspection for scooters and bikes as well! For some reason they are not listed in the Safety Inspection categories of Yelp and unless you know the name of the place, you will never find it! Rob the owner says he doesn't know how to get Bronco Garage in the safety category, so if anyone in Yelp or who knows how to help get it in a more searchable category, please advise! read more

I've gone to Bronco Garage for my last two safety inspections and both times had such quick professional safety check. I pulled up outside of regular business hours and the owner still accommodated me. Mahalo nui loa! read more

i always go with this guy all of my cars and also trailer but I noticed his mean and rude personality I just ignore it every time but the last time, I think it's enough. there's other guys out there which are more aloha spirits. he doesn't care even if you're already a long time customer. read more

Robert does a great job and will not BS you. You drive up with no appointment, hand him your registration and insurance, and he'll drive your car into the garage. The inspection is quick, a great price, and then you are on your way. read more

Great place for a safety check. Braddah mans fast, I was in and out of there in 10 mins.

Fast and easy. No appointment necessary. Inspection took about 5 minutes and I was out of there. Note that it's cash only.

I am so happy that Bronco Garage is is in Kihei. Robert is fast and efficient, something you won't find at other Safety Inspection Stations in the Kihei area. I will be bringing all my vehicles in the future to Bronco Garage. read more

If there is zero star, I will give to this rude guy, when you talk to this guy you will feel like you were his slave. He drive you car in his garage open the hood and slam the hood so hard. I recommend to go to the other garage in the same area "All Star Garage". read more

Poor rating based on how I saw him treat another customer. I walked right in and got my car through inspection but I have a newer car. The women in line in front of me came in with an older VW (early 2000s). She gave the guy the keys, he pulled it into the garage, popped the hood, and then started manhandling the hood when it wouldn't immediately open (like bending the hood). The woman looked up, saw this, and ran over saying she 'could help with it'. By then he had already broke it. He initially tried to fix it for a minute or two but when other people started walking in, he got nasty, told the woman it was already broken and to 'call the cops' if she really thought he broke it. She was asking him to fix it but he told her to get her car out of there and kept telling her to call the cops. This dude showed his true self when he was in a tricky spot, real dirtbag. I had let my inspection lapse and had taken time out of work to do the inspection so I did get my car inspected here, but i will NEVER return to this garage. We need more aloha than this on island! read more

Safety inspections are a necessary evil and no one likes to get them done. Robert at Bronco Garage takes away all of the pain! If you need a safety on Maui, go to the Bronco Garage to get it done right, fast and with a friendly smile. read more
