So I ordered from BME for dinner the other night and by popular demand, I ordered the Vegumami burger with a side of fries, truffle aoli and their brownie cookie for dessert. When the food arrived, the fries were as cold as ice and that burger was soooooo tasteless. I even added hebernero to the burger for an extra kick. Even with the habernero the taste was so bland. I don't think I will ever come back to this horrible place again. I came here with my sister and her husband starving expecting a great meal because of all of the people who recommended us. I guess it was not there day the service wasn't very good, the place was dirty and the menu was inaccurate. I don't remember our whole order detailed but i do know that we got 2 burgers 1 hot dog and just one thing of fries it came out to over $55 and was the smallest portion for all of us I think I only had like 5 fries for $8 and my burger that was supposed to be normal was overly spicy this was very upsetting the hot dog was also so small you could eat it all in one bite. I've been here many times now. The food is somewhat consistent. The salads are always good and fresh. I've tried the caesar and signature salads. I prefer the signature salad. It's really good! The caesar doesn't taste like a traditional one because they've made it really citrusy, however my friend loves it. The chicken is actually really cheap and good (only $4). You get a generous portion of chicken and salad. I'm not a fan of the tater tots, I don't think they have much flavor even with cheese. Same with the fries. I don't like that they're hand cut really thick, not a fan. I'm not sure what to say about the burgers. They have a truffle burger that I really liked the first time I tried it. The second time it wasn't great. It started to get cold and the meat started to taste/smell bad. I couldn't eat it. I haven't ordered a burger since. The smoothies are really good so I'm assuming the acai bowls would probably be really good too. I believe I usually get the ocean breeze smoothie. Overall, friendly workers, good food, and great prices. Solid salad place. Not sure if I can say the same about the burgers. I just hope they improve their fries because I love fries. One of the finest burger joints in the country, period. Great ambience/decor and quick/kind service. Very easy ordering system and a fun/creative menu. Loved that there was a fresh juice bar attached! Just docking a star because some of the promised toppings on our burgers were missing. You can dress up a burger however you want but if the patty doesn't deliver, your burger is just bread with fillings. Brome elevates the Patty game: their Halal beef patties are thick, juicy, fluffy, and very well seasoned! I'm not much of a meat eater but even I would be satisfied with eating one of their patties by itself, no bread or toppings needed. However, Brome brings out the creativity with fun flavor combos and toppings for its burgers to complement that great patty. The best topping by far is the "Truffle Aioli". All the toppings are fresh and delicious, and I loved the wonderful buns to sandwich all this goodness in between. Dante's Heaven could be much spicier, will add jalapeños next time. I've heard about Brome a few times in the past - both via Instagram and also since they have participated in Dearborn Restaurant Week for the past 2 years. But we never actually visited until this past July 4th weekend. I had plans to visit a nearby bakery to pick up a cake for BF's birthday, so we wanted to stop in a spot nearby for breakfast. We arrived around 10:30am on a Sunday and it was pretty empty. I'm guessing their busy times are during the week and later on the weekends for lunch. I had the Wake-up Call with Soft Scrambled Eggs, Caramelized Onion, Mild Cheddar, Chives, and Gochujang Aioli in a Brioche bun. BF had the Sunrise Burger with a Sunny Fried Egg, Black Angus Sausage Patty, Mcclure's Pickles, Mild Cheddar, and Dijonnaise in a Brioche bun. I really, really liked my breakfast sandwich. The gochujang aioli gave it a nice kick. Prices were reasonable for a yummy and filling breakfast. Service was friendly and our food came out pretty quickly. read more

After a long day at Greenfield Village, this got the job done. Very close nearby if you're in the area and convenient free public parking behind the restaurant. The ordering at the restaurant is a bit confusing. They display their menus on TVs in a hall and not directly in front of or above their cash registers (nor have a plastic or menu at the register), so if you have a large order or if you're like me and can't remember your full order you'll struggle. Onto the food - we got the Mex burger and the deluxe burger and shared a side of fries. Both were pretty decent burgers and cooked well. Their burgers are over-priced, small patty that's always a bit dry even though I order the rare option between the two. I've tried the Mex burger over 5 times since they opened & each time it felt like a hit or miss. Their quality kinda decreased while their prices increased (with their meat, but the juice shop addition was super cool ). However, their kale salad is SHOW-STOPPING. Tonight, I got a carry out order from Brome as part of a Yelp event. I decided to try the crispy chicken sandwich and sub the mustard aioli for the sweet habanero sauce. The sauce was so good. I wish there had been more! Also, McClure pickles are my favorite and were the perfect addition to the sandwich! The fries were really fresh. They tasted like someone had just cut potatoes in the kitchen. The serving was called a "handful," but there were plenty! I noticed that Brome just added a brunch menu. Our cousins from Utica came down to chill with us for the day. They said they wanted to try out the offerings around area. They were in the mood for burgers and I remembered that this spot isnt that far away from my house. I had the Jalapeno Madness and the Chili and Cheese tots. I enjoyed the burger a lot. The patty was well seasoned and the fixins were on point. Came with a fried egg. Did it just so I can do egg porn with the drippy yolk. Tots was definitely a Force to be reckoned with. Only issue is that my burger came out well done. If the front of the line staff asks me how I want my burger done. I would expect it to come out medium rare and not fully cooked. But since your burger is really good, that can be forgiven. Would've been a perfect 5 if it wasn't for the over done patty. Thank you so much for reading my review. Brome was a quick stop for me to grab dinner while I was passing through the area. Featuring a very cool interior with living walls and wood interiors, it definitely has great ambiance for a fast casual restaurant. I was also intrigued by the menu featuring organic beef burgers and fries with multiple toppings. I ended up getting the deluxe organic burger with garlic fries and an Oreo shake. Service was typical for a fast casual, quick and to the point. I took a number and proceeded to a table. My shake came out relatively quickly and was an absolute delight! Thick, but drinkable, it is a solid shake. Unfortunately, it was the highlight of my experience. The burger and fries ended up taking quite a while to come out. When they finally did, it was presented well... but then going to taste them was a bit disappointing. The burger was over salted to a fairly high degree and the fries were mediocre at best. The garlic seasoning affected the texture of the fries in a way that made them somewhat oily and soggy. I really did want to love this place. With good location, ambiance, and offering organic beef, I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the key piece of the burger was a bit of a letdown. Especially at $12.50, this needs to be a better experience. Solid place to come and get some food outside of Detroit. The food was good, but not great if I'm being honest. I LOVED the interior of the restaurant. There's a large wall with alive plants filling the space and it's truly beautiful. When we arrived, we were able to get one of their long tables and sat together. Around 6ish, there was a huge line to order and people waiting to find tables. It started to get a little annoying actually because a few people started standing by our table ready to grab it once we were done. As soon as we have an indication we were leaving, people pounced. I tried their Impossible Burger which was very good and delicious. Their fries were very tasty, I couldn't stop eating them.
