French toast right! Top to bottom; Cinna-Cakes, Crunchy French Toast, Tiki Toast all so goood
Victoria R.

The food, service and ambiance were excellent; however my bf and I didn't quite enjoy our experience here as much as we preferred. If you'd like to grab a quick tasty bite, reasonably priced I'd say you should try this place out (:

Crunchy French toast

Wowza! I got the classic crunchy French toast. I will never have it again, but it was cool to try something crazy. The service was EXCELLENT! I think I found my new lover! The vibes were like no other! I wish I could live in this booth! I WILL be coming back, but I'll be getting something different. Till next time amigos! Ciao!

OMG!!! This has got to be one of the best meals I have ever had in my entire life!!! The Eggs Benedict was phenomenal and so was the service! Even if this isn't enough, the place looked very cool. And let me tell you, by the time I took the last bite, I was practically levitating out of my chair. I wanted to stand up and give the chef a standing ovation right then and there. The whole experience felt like being wrapped in a warm, buttery hug of pure culinary bliss. Honestly, I'm convinced this place could single-handedly restore someone's faith in humanity. It was THAT good. Also, somewhere in the distance, a squirrel was aggressively guarding a single acorn like it was a priceless family heirloom.

Service was pretty fast perhaps because it was close to closing time . I would recommend that customers coming in close to closing time not to be seated in the area closest to the outside patio as, it's loud and disruptive. Kids burger was pretty good , it was juicy. The BLT with Turkey was kind of light on the protein .

Chicken & Waffle Benedict

Never had a chicken and waffle Benny. Very interesting. Definitely different but not bad. The chicken was a bit dry. The avocado toast was delicious. Our sever could have been friendlier and more up beat to make his service more enjoyable.

Best breakfast place ever! The food was out of this world, and the service...hard to find a friendlier staff. Norma Q made us feel so welcome and cosy on Christmas Day breakfast. Really cute place and 10 star service

Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs

Atmosphere good and clean.Everyone was nice and greeted us with a good morning or hello and a smile. Our waiter was great, super nice, wish I remembered his name. Food was served on big white plates and didn't have much space on our table. Food was good. I got avocado toast with poached eggs cooked perfectly. Avocado was fresh and tasty. I also got a lemon ricotta pancake with blueberries. Liked that I could taste the lemon, woulda liked a little more lemon and maybe ricotta on top. Teens got eggs and pancakes. Daughter got gluten free pancakes and said they were good and fluffy which is rare for her to say. Home fries weren't seasoned but not the main dish so didn't matter just a filler. My husband said his meat omelette was packed with meat and didn't disappoint. Bathrooms were clean which I always appreciate.

Cali Breakfast Burrito
Joshua W.

The Breakfast Burrito was excellent, although I wasn't a huge fan of the side and would have preferred another option. It was super busy when we went so expect a wait if you go. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful inside. Clean bathrooms too!

Juices were brought out in elegant glasses.

Does this place have an open menu?

No/yesThey have made my own dish with the omelet with shredded beef on top and rice as a side, but everything gets charged as an upgrade and instead of 16 dollars a dish, you pay 25, pretty good place, though

Excellent selection of spirits (Top Shelf)!…read more Food was amazing. Steaks cooked to perfection. A bit on the pricy side, but worth it in my opinion. The duck was also cooked perfectly with a crispy seasoned skin that was spot on. We ordered the crispy mushrooms. Not what we expected but so good we ordered another dish with our dinner. We had the Basque Cheesecake and the Crème Brûlée. Both were outstanding. The restaurant itself has a rich mahogany feel and comfortable booths. Our waiter was always checking on us and making sure we had everything we need The family had a great first experience and will be back for more! Cheers!

Their locals are both actually local but also have many out of town regulars like us since so many travel to enjoy the amazingness of San Diego. We try to stay as close to Moe's as we can when we visit because they're in the perfect spot at the edge of Mission and the start of Pacific Beach where all the fun is. The food and cocktails are as good as the service. It's easy to chat up a new friend at the bar because their San Diego happiness is contagious. There were a number of new recipes on the cocktail menu this trip. They had me at "Party With Elvis." Although I was drawn to the fun name, the walnut-infused bourbon was too enticing to pass up, especially because they paired it with Montenegro (Amaro) and sweet vermouth. So it's a fancy Manhattan variation. It was delish!!!!!! Make sure when you go to the amazing beaches next time in SD, check out Moe's. You'll love the food and cocktails as much as the vibe. What a nice restaurant to enjoy a really lovely dinner at in Ocean Beach! Walking up with my…read moredaughter and my doodle , we asked if there was room on their patio and there was a lovely table with umbrella on the corner. It had turf underneath all tables along the street side and was shaded well for both hoomans and dog! The server quickly wiped the table and was friendly in asking about drinks , while we immersed in the menu - much inspired by New Zealand. She was great the entire time we were there. She came by just enough to check in to get the "nodding yes with our our heads as mouths full " affirmation she needed that all was well. So- I had the Blazin' Ahi and it was absolutely delicious! The ahi , a fave of mine anyway but with the seared with panko covering it and the wasabi mayo and peas and cucumbers? Chef's kiss! Will go next time we are there in late summer and highly recommend!

M. ordered the Wagyu burger with matchstick fries & I got the New Zealand Classic breakfast with chicken sausage. Waters were brought out quickly for us, including Cali. I later ordered a mimosa & it came out quickly as well. There's a special on mimosas on Saturday & Sunday from 10-2. They start at $1 at 10am and the price goes up incrementally until 2pm when they're $9. (My mimosa was $6.) The food took a bit longer, about twenty minutes, to be delivered. I liked my breakfast very much. Everything was tasty & I enjoyed having little bits of different things to nosh on. M. said his burger was very good, he only wished that it was a bit bigger for the price. Service was fine & friendly. Overall, this was a pleasant experience. Great people watching and great weather helped to enhance this brunch even more. Peace.

Huge shoutout to Doughboys Grill and especially the owner David "Doughboy" for being extremely helpful and having some of the best customer service I've had in a long time. You can tell they actually care about their customers and the quality of their food. I got the pastrami fries, the breakfast smash burger (I think it was the American Smash Burger), and the 3pc buffalo wings. The buffalo wings were so good I literally had to order more to go, and Doughboy even hooked it up for us. My wife got the GTA and the BBQ wings, which were amazing too. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and way better than expected. Definitely one of those spots you keep coming back to. We will 100% be back multiple times soon. Highly recommend this place if you want great food and even better people.

I ordered from Doordash and saw that there were pretty good reviews so I had high hopes. I got two…read moreorders of the onion rings, the GTA double smash burger, the cheesesteak, wings, a slice of pepperoni pizza, and a "cinnamon roll". The onion rings did not come with the ranch that it was advertised to come with. The onion rings had a thick crunchy batter that was very chewy, which wasn't great. This combined with the fact that the piece of onion inside was the smallest thinnest piece of onion, just made it seem like it was chewing fried batter. The pizza appeared old and sad. I would've taken a picture but I threw it away too fast. I couldn't take more than 3 bites. The smash burger and cheesesteak were the better items. The meat was flavored well, and they were decent size. The smash burger i would say was a solid 7.8. I do wish the cheesesteak had a bit more cheese, seeing as that's the point of it. The downside to both these things was the bread/buns which were chewy and dry, leading me to see a theme with "Doughboy's". The wings (buffalo) were good to me, good flavor, good amount of sauce. My friend wished they were crispier, but I was just glad they had good flavor. Lastly, the cinnamon roll. Advertised as "Big texas cinnamon roll" on Doordash. It's a regular dollar store, packaged in plastic, 99¢ cinnamon roll. Maybe it's my fault for not knowing the brand of packaged rolls but I expected something different. If i was in the area i would go back for the smashburger and wings, but I think there's better places in SD to get all of these things in my opinion.
