On the left two containers, Brody 's Molcajete Supreme. On the right, the beef fajitas. Came with a total of 9 tortillas. Was a lot of food.

Portion sizes were gigantic and the food was delicious! We ordered Brody's Molcajete Supreme and some beef fajitas to go fairly late. The entrance was weird and dark and difficult to get to, so that could be improved. The food, though, was excellent. We really enjoyed the flavors of the two dishes, and they were tasty the next day as leftovers as well. Price wise they were alright, given how much food there was and the area.

We went to Brody's based on the amount of great reviews on here and how close it was to our hotel. It's a strip mall restaurant and quite popular in Cedar City. We didn't have to wait long for a table and the staff was very friendly and apologized for the wait. Our server was great and once again apologized for the wait, although we didn't find it inconveniencing. We ordered street tacos, taquitas, and a carnita asada burrito. The food was ok, nothing special and the portions were generous. We were actually very pleased with the service and location but not real impressed with the food. It was good, but not great. They don't have a liquor license so no margaritas, but you can get wine and beer. Typical strip mall ambiance, lots of paintings of Mexican culture and some local landmarks as well. The feature painting is the local LDS temple. It was a nice experience but no need for us to go back.

Wanted this place to be better, but I'm being generous giving 3 stars. They are obviously understaffed. There is no order on being seated and some customers got mad bc people were being seated before them. There menu is huge and that's a red flag for me. I ordered a chili relleno burrito with beans and rice. It looked good but hardly had any beans and rice. But the chili relleno was good. My wife ordered the Chili Verde plate. She was disappointed. The meat pieces were very small and there was hardly any. The service was slow but that was understandable. The waitress was very good though and very nice.

The staff at Brody's was very hospitable to our large group which is always appreciated because it can be hard when we need 9+ different checks for the group and we have kids sitting separate from the parents. We have been out to eat at many places with this group and it's not always handled well like it was at Brody's. We had a lot of requests and the entire restaurant was full but our waitress and the manager still managed to deal with us! This restaurant has a warm, family feel to it. The rice and beans that came with our dishes were delicious. The Carne Asada and Shrimp and the Chile Verde were both tasty choices, but I was disappointed that the Chile Verde didn't come with large chunks of pork. It almost seemed like I got the last bits at the end of a big pot. Despite this, our group was pleased with the meal and I would return the next time I find myself in Cedar City.

Solid Mexican food near the Shakespeare festival. Nothing super amazing, but totally satisfying and tasty.

Great service, authentic Mexican food, very clean and great variety on their menu. I lived in Mexico City for a year and this is one of the best authentic Mexican restaurants I have found in Utah.

I have eaten here at least 10 times over the last 3 years. My wife and I will drive 35 miles to go here. The food is the best Mexican food in the entire St George area. The chips and salsa are great. The portion size is excellent. The food is always fresh and delivered promptly. The prices are very reasonable. 12 bucks a plate. I can't say enough good things about Brody's. The servers are great and so is the owner. This restaurant should easily be rated a full five stars just because it is consistently good. Try Brody's- you won't be disappointed.

Outstanding! Such a nice authentic style atmosphere when you walk in! We were greeted promptly by the the nicest lady ever! They immediately brought out fresh chips and salsa and we added the fresh guacamole! It was amazing! I had a combo plate that included an enchilada, taco and burrito, beans and rice. It was all done perfectly and the portions are very nice! With all the food it was impossible to order desert! Definitely next time for sure!

Gaslighting over scrambled eggs was definitely not expected. About five minutes later, she brought out scrambled eggs on the side, which pretty much confirmed they hadn't been in the machaca in the first place. The rice was mushy, the machaca itself was basically mush, and there was so little meat we could barely find it. I was with a coworker, and she couldn't believe the waitress was seriously telling us there were eggs in a dish that clearly had none. Very disappointing food, and the way it was handled made the whole experience even worse.

This place serves up some of the freshest, most authentic Mexican grub I've had in southern Utah. We ordered a mix of their street tacos (the carne asada and al pastor are absolute standouts--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and topped with fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime) along with their homemade horchata and a side of beans. We also enjoyed one of their daily specials, with a staff-recommended chia-lime and strawberry fresca, and everything was amazing. Everything was made to order, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly affordable for the quality. The staff was super friendly and quick, even during the dinner rush, and the casual vibe with outdoor seating made it perfect for unwinding with the kids. No frills, just great food that feels like a taste of home. If you're in Cedar City for skiing, hiking, or just passing through, do yourself a favor and stop here. We'll definitely be back--five stars all the way!

I chose the Enchiladas Tricolor which was a good opportunity to try their mole, red and verde sauces on chicken, cheese & pork respectively. Comes with beans, rice & interestingly ... coleslaw. My husband chose the Burrito Asada but didn't want any pico de gallo. The waitress asked if he wanted the guacamole and the red sauce on the side to which he said "Sure". I think he's lucky the red sauce was on the side as he could only describe it as "weird, very strange, not good." I tried it and thought "thin vegetable soup ". The kitchen forgot to put the melted cheese on top so his burrito in the picture is very plain looking. He added the guacamole along with the beans and rice to each bite of the burrito and thought that added some flavor to it. The asada was just bland beef with no evidence of a marinade or spicing. My Tricolor Enchiladas plate had 3 enchiladas, beans, rice & coleslaw- & only half of those 6 items were tasty. I was intrigued by the coleslaw and liked it so I ate it all first. I ended up taking sone from my husband's plate to cleanse my palette after I finished eating my meal. It helped clear out the weird pork gravy taste that was the sole flavor of the chile verde. It was so different from other chile verdes I've eaten before. This one had no citrus notes that would normally come from having tomatillos in it. The pork did not improve my outlook. After my first bite I cut the enchilada open to see if the pork was fully cooked. It was pinkish but seemed cooked. It just had that partially raw pork flavor to it. The other 2 enchiladas were good (chicken with a slightly sweet mole sauce and the Classic Red with cheese). I think that same veggie tasting red sauce my husband encountered is their "Classic Red" sauce. The sour cream dollop on this enchilada kinda overtook the sauce so I didn't mind it - didn't miss tasting that sauce here. Sadly the last 2 components on my plate - beans & rice were really lacking. The beans seemed a bit salty but had little flavor despite that. The rice appeared to have no seasoning in it - very bland. Mixing the two together didn't improve either. Adding one of the 2 tasty salsas (red or green) that came to the table with the just slightly greasy chips did help the rice. I noticed a pool of oil/ grease accumulating behind the enchiladas (see picture). Not a good sign for flavor to me. The waitress said the restaurant has been around for 22 years and the booth we sat in showed it. My side of the booth seemed to raise me higher than normal above the table while my husband's side seated him at the proper height to the tabletop. My husband said his Strawberry Margarita was good and thought he could taste the tequila. I had a sip and wasn't sure if it was tequila or the triple sec in the background but thought it was a decent strawberry margarita as it was not overly sweet. I noticed the price on the menu $8.99 was not the price we were charged ($9.99) for his "house margarita ". All other pricing on our receipt matched the menu. Also on our receipt there was a Card Total and a lower Cash Total. We had already planned to pay cash. There's too many other Mexican restaurants in Cedar City to ever go back to La Casa DM.
