I paid $199 to have a car shipped from California ,it showed up a $31000 dollar car less then 40…read morek on it..I drove it and it had horrible road noise on the freeway. I told them to have it looked at before I would buy it.The tech said it was from the custom wheels(that had the exact same size tires on them that came oem)so I drove another car the same brand and exact model just to compare , the road noise was not near as bad,but the power lock was extremely loud on that one. I asked if they could put the wheels on from the 2nd one I drove to see if it solved the problem on the one I had shipped.They dont do that they said,so I asked them to lower the price a little so I could get new tires.They said they are no haggle,I said no haggle for a car with no problems right?So I was already in the hole $200 and it coulda been worse if I had got the car bought new tires and wheels and still had the same road noise.So I will take the $200 dollar hit anyday.I will however never pay to have a car shipped without looking at it first again,that way there are no surprises!Especially when it's non refundable. I could have saved a lot of headache if I had just read these reviews.So pay attention to what you see.I won't go back to carmax again! I gave it 2 stars because a few of the sales people were nice.

I spoke with a young lady about traveling from Portland to Salem to view a vehicle yesterday 1/9/26. She told me visits were by appointment only and scheduled me for Monday, 1/12/26. However, while checking their Facebook page today (1/10/26), I saw that the vehicle had already been sold. I was never contacted or notified of this change. When I called to confirm, I spoke with a gentleman who had no record of my appointment and seemed unaware of the situation. I was extremely disappointed, especially knowing I could have driven all the way from Portland and wasted time and gas for a vehicle that was no longer available. I'm thankful I happened to see the post before making the trip, but this experience shows a serious lack of coordination and customer communication. Back to the drawing board.

I get home It drive great the whole way I put it in park after turning into my parking spot and a light comes on that says EPS BAS and I was like hmm that's strange I'm a girl so I didn't even know what that meant. I turn the car off and turn it back on to see if it and t away and the car would no go it of gear. Now it's stuck in park with that light on my dash and I litterally drive it for 30 min before not being able to use it after paying 5200 cash for this van. I have never felt so ashamed and scammed in my life. I'm a single mother and bow I have no way to work I have no money for a car and I have a car I can't fix that I just bought.
