So far LKQ has been my lifesaver when fixing up family cars. I bought a radiator / condenser combo for a 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe, and saved over $200 compared to the dealer price. It's used but still works perfectly. Also purchased a starter motor for Toyota Corolla, sun visor, rims / wheels, door handles for Lexus. They even offer replacement engines and transmissions, and body parts. There was a Challenger Hellcat engine by the front desk on my last visit. If you're walking in, speak with Oscar at the front knows his stuff. He's a great guy. Also JR & David are awesome. If you're Calling in to place an order, I would recommend having your card ready to order. Have Patience , once you get through to somebody be ready to order! With the parts shortage going on, LKQ is the best supplier hands down. There's no doubt in my mind they are #1 and I highly recommend them to my family and friends for years. It was from a 2010 Lewis with about 87 or so miles. It lasted about 7 months sadly, we got another from a 2012 about same miles, this one was in better looking condition. I should have taken a picture. The only issue now is getting someone to answer their phone! It's so frustrating! It took me 3 days to speak with Oscar! Stopped by Oreily to get my battery tested because my car seemed like it was having issues starting…read moreup. Went here the first time and the guy who tested my batter said that it was fine and no issues at all. I noticed the issues continued so I went back about a week later and another guy who tested my battery said that the battery was fine but needed to be charged. He then went on to say that they can't take out the battery and charge it that I would personally have to take out the battery myself and that it would take an hour to charge. Wasn't able to do that. Later that day I called AAA and they did a battery test and turns out the health of my car battery was at basically 0%. I don't know what type of technology they are using here but it's clearly not reliable at all and could really end up screwing people over. Would not recommend taking your car here.

As a former Corporate Manager myself running various types of stores, it hurts to me to go to a business or a store and find employees (and especially managers) who just do not care at all. This is why I am so happy and writing a 5-star review today for this Auto Zone location, but particularly - this review is 100% owned by the Manager here - Carlos Sanchez - because this guy KNOWS what he is doing and cares that he does it well - you can just tell. He is right there alongside anyone in the store doing the work, and frankly running circles around everyone else (at least, from what I have seen - that is meant as a compliment lol). He helped us personally about a month ago to get our battery tested and changed, and then again today (I got lucky he was there again) with our second car. Friendly & expedited quality service is what we all hope for, right? And this is a BUSY spot, as we have a LOT of independent dealerships right up the street along Broadway with mechanics and the like coming here. And being in South Phoenix, I hate to say it, but sometimes our Corporate chains here are really lacking and poorly managed. Thank you again Carlos, you're terrific and I appreciate you!
