I ordered and shipped two difficult to find bottles of Mezcal at a competitive price. These were gifts and I needed delivery before my flight. GL promptly shipped with confirmations and tracking via UPS. Sadly, I found out that the order was lost the day before I depart. Stressed, I called GL, told them the situation and they took care of everything from there. A few things to support their great customer service. They always have a human answering the phone. George helped me. He was apologetic, even though it was on UPS. He found my order info quickly and connected me with Andre. Andre knew my urgency and returned my call quickly with solutions. He offered to replace the order at cost! (A friend picked it up). After UPS confirmed their mistake, Andre refunded me my original order and submitted the UPS claim on my behalf. When I wanted to learn how to make an Espresso Martini and Pina Colada, I knew where to get the alcohol. My alcohol knowledge is limited and when I google best alcohols, 80% of the time, this place has it in stock. I can discover a new drink while purchasing old favorites. The staff are always friendly and welcoming! They remember their regulars. They go out of their way to search for brands and/or suggest new items that have come in. This company sucks if your shipment gets damaged and forget about adding the safe shipping option…read more If you choose to have the package held at fedex for pickup the safe shipping is voided. We had a package of six bottles shipped via fedex to be held for pickup at a fedex office. Somehow the package was damaged by fedex and returned to remedy liquor without consent. They refunded to price of the 4 undamaged bottles less a $15 dollar per bottle restock fee. The cost.of shipping was not refundable nor the cost of the damaged bottles. This.company is a total rip off if somethine happens to the package. I have ordered a couple thousand dollars from this site i the past, not anymore. Piss poor customer service.
