After waiting 3 days to hear back, someone finally contacted my sister to let her know it would be December 1st before my niece could be seen!! My sister was called back today and informed that they could see her at 1:45. After pulling my niece out of school, and driving over an hour to get to the clinic in Durham, the lady who scheduled the appointment told my sister that they had scheduled it with the wrong doctor, that the Pediatric Orthopedist wasn't in today and that they couldn't see her :(!! Not only was the lady who scheduled the appointment wrong rude to them...So was her immediate supervisor!! They then sent my sister on a wild goose chase to find another orthopedic clinic that could see her today. Thankfully Triangle Orthopedic Specialists were able to see her this afternoon...So a HUGE THANK YOU to them for working her in. Duke Healthcare should be ASHAMED...The way this has all been handled on their end has been totally UNACCEPTABLE...And you have definitely lost our business!!
