I decided to give PT a try 1st, I was in pretty bad shape it took about 6 months of treatment but no surgery and no more pain. They did an excellent job 2nd incident the ball of both my feet had all numbness no feeling at all. I went back to NC Physical therapy three months later my feet are near normal. This is a great place for PT and to note the owner and the staff are extremely nice, respectful and knowledgeable. I would recommend them.

Kyle, my therapist, has worked with me to put together a program of exercises and stretching that have helped tremendously. I added dry needling to the mix, which has been a Godsend. Kyle seems to be able to find the exact location of knots and tension and to target them for release with perfect precision. I get much relief from him and this therapy. I have worked with other therapists as well. To a one, every staff member (clinical and administrative) is friendly, competent, funny, and a joy. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

Ellen is an expert in her field and friendly person to work with. She has a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (DPT) and teaches at UNC-Chapel Hill (http://www.fitptnc.com/sections/MeetStaff/staffMain.html). She has an upbeat personality and at the same time, she is very thoughtful in everything she does. My therapist has consistently provided accurate problem diagnosis and solutions. After following her exercise instructions, my pain issues had gone away. She solved a lower back pain that I endured for more than 10 years. Prior to this practice, I had treatment with a chiropractor with minimal success. As a bonus, I get to learn something. She has shown me, in the anatomy book, the exact location of my problem when I asked. This helped me focus on the area when I do the prescribed exercises. I am very happy my physician referred me to Ellen Roeber. Ellen is a great person to work with, has a big heart, and I feel blessed that she is my therapist.

I found Athletic Advantage through their website. I really look forward to my appointments. Early on, we took it easy to make sure that I was healing and not pushing too fast. As I've been recovering, the intensity of my therapy sessions has increased and it's more like working out than just getting therapy. I am sore the next day, but in that good way that means I'm getting stronger. We mix in new exercises to keep me fresh mentally and physically, and they have set me up with a number of exercises to do at home between visits. Their goal is to get you better so you don't have to keep coming in forever. I've been working with Nate, and he is awesome. He is genuinely invested in me, is very familiar with my status and pace and connects with me on a personal level. The administrative staff is friendly, too. They give me a printout of my appointments, and I receive robo-calls the night before to remind me. There are also many student aides who help throughout your training. Everyone is friendly, but they are tough! They will make sure you stick to the proper form and are doing the exercises the correct way. I have had a tremendous experience and I know my improvement is due in large part to them. I would give 10 stars if I could and would recommend to anyone who is recovering from an injury or surgery and wants to get back into shape. Their location is on Fayetteville Road at the end of a office/shopping strip. I've submitted an update to Yelp, and hopefully they'll adjust it soon. It's actually adjacent to the parking lot for the American Tobacco Trail, but those parking lots don't connect.

I switched to this place after an unfortunate experience from another chiropractor so I was somewhat apprehensive going in, but Dr. Kevin takes the time to listen and try different methods than my past chiropractor did which has helped a lot already. Unlike other places I've been, I don't feel like just another patient-- here, I feel like I'm recieving personalized care for my needs. From the self check-in kiosk to the adjustment tables and massage roller tables, they have excellent top quality equipment which very much contributes to a great overall experience.
