We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner (35 people) and welcome party (100 people) at Brix and could not have been more thrilled with the experience. Nita was fantastic to work with and helped us plan out food and drinks for our large group. She also gave recommendations for flowers and decorations and provided signage. She helped with moving the dinner along so that we were ready to greet our guests as they arrived for the welcome party. Her staff (Cheryl, Zach and Matt) were super friendly and attentive. Everyone commented that the food was outstanding. And it goes without saying that the wine and cocktail selections were fantastic. Nita helped us choose options for each event that were great quality and value. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We had the rehearsal dinner in the Bordeaux room and then opened to the Grotto and Vista rooms and some outdoor patio space for the welcome party. Everyone had a fantastic time. We were thrilled with our choice and wouldn't hesitate to host another event here. read more

Great staff, very helpful and accommodating for the large group we went with, everyone's orders were correct and they had great drink recommendations to go with our meals or with each persons tastes. Grilled chicken was a bit dry but great sauces to combat that. Inside is heavy brick and metal theme very chic. Endless they've updated it recently. read more

We came here for dinner, a group of 5 of us. The 4 people in my group all went with a wine flight each, and since I was fasting they decided to drink while time passes. Our server was Kendrick and he did an outstanding job to make sure we were all satisfied. We decided to start with the cheese plate and it was unfortunate none of their cheeses were spicy. Spicy cheese is just as good as aged cheese! Since I was fasting, I specifically inquired how long the food takes to cook and the response was: not more than 20 minutes for any dish. Keeping that in mind, we all decided to order our main dishes at 7:55, which means we would eat right about sunset which was around 8:15. We ordered different pizzas and a few different sides. I went with the White Pizza without bacon and the Mac n cheese. The white pizza came with Shrimp, arugula, a fried egg, and so much flavor!! The food arrived to our tables around 8:40, which was disappointing for a hungry fella, but I will make up the negative into a positive by saying the food was fabulous! It was well worth the wait and I would highly recommend it. Service was great and food was delicious. A friend told me about BRIX when I was looking for a venue for a party. We had never been there so my husband and I went for dinner and sampled a couple of wine flights, multiple appetizers, and desserts and also split an entree - we had several to-go containers because it was way too much food for 2, but we wanted to try a variety. We were very impressed with Nita, the owner, Alex, our waiter, the venue, wine, and food. We loved BRIX and held our private event there on June 25, 2022, to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday and his retirement. It also happened to be our wedding anniversary so we had a whole lot to celebrate. We had all three rooms - Bordeaux, Vista, and Grotto for a party of about 65. The rooms would definitely accommodate more people but I wanted everyone to have plenty of room to feel comfortable in the crazy world we live in today. We had a combination of table seating and mingling space and it worked out great. EVERYTHING.WAS.WONDERFUL!!!! I was completely happy with the entire experience from the initial planning conversations with the owner, Nita, to when Alex and Kendrick helped us carry everything to our car after the event ended. Kaley, Paige, Alex, and Kendrick were dedicated to our party and the service was beyond phenomenal. They were all very attentive to us and our guests for the entire event. The evening flew by it was so much fun... and I did not have to worry about a single thing throughout the evening. The venue looked beautiful - classy, elegant, and comfortable. The wine and drinks were amazing. Then there was the FOOD... OMG!! Everything was soooo delicious. We had Hors d'oeurves that were refreshed throughout the evening. My absolute favorite was the Korean Beef Skewer - so tender and so flavorful.... but honestly, there wasn't anything that I didn't like. Even the olives on the vesper board had a unique flavor. One of the guests went on and on about the olives. Almost every guest commented on how great the party was - that they loved the venue, drinks, and food - many describing it as "Perfect." Of course, the most important person who told me it was "Perfect" was my husband. :) I highly recommend BRIX whether it is for drinks, dinner, or if you are looking to host a private party. We had an EPIC party and I am beyond happy with everything and everyone at BRIX. Nita, the owner, is awesome. She helped me so much. We have been going to BRIX for date night for many years and have always enjoyed ourselves. The wine selection is awesome and the bartenders, David and Kendrick, are very knowledgeable. We decided to host our mothers 90th birthday party at BRIX and we were not disappointed! Nita set the rooms up beautifully and Kendrick, David, and Logan were amazing keeping drinks filled, dirty plates taken away, and delicious food refreshed! I wish I had more pictures but I haven't received from the photo yet. The party was a huge success and we are still getting compliments from guests. read more

Finding this place can be a little challenge, luckily I called and the young lady who answered the phone gave me great directions to find my new favorite place! Tucked in the corner across from El Tiempo Cantina is the BRIX! What a lovely atmosphere, I went to celebrate a birthday with my dear friend and the owner is such a lovely person. She made sure to welcome the guests and was proud of her establishment. I was kind of bummed because I can't eat meat due to lent, but my server assured me that I would not be disappointed in whatever I chose. He was right! I settled on the risotto with blackened shrimp, for a first time risotto the bar is set high! It was so creamy and flavorful. It only comes with 4 shrimp but it was a perfect portion. I ordered a French 75 and a strawberry margarita, the French 75 was okay, I've had better. The margarita was nice and strong. Yes I know I should've ordered wine but I love a good mixed drink! I left here satisfied and I thank the owner and staff for a great night. I forgot the servers name after my margarita but he was very much appreciated for having patience and helping me navigate through a menu that has so many tasty items on it. You can sit in the gorgeous inside restaurant or enjoy the huge patio. We've been coming here nearly weekly (sometimes multiple times a week!) since the day they opened many moons ago. Officially have been here more times than I can count over the last few years. I am honestly surprised I haven't taken the time to write a review sooner, however, every time I leave this place I am in a state of ultimate bliss and most likely went straight home to sleep on what I assumed to be a cloud. The wine is the main feature, and makes for great conversation with friends and or your waiter. If you're feeling frisky, get a flight - but always, always get a bottle. What's the harm when you can cork it and take it home to enjoy. The food is easily the reason I have kept coming back. Every special occasion, romantic evening, or friend lunch date I've had here has been spectacular. The food is always 5 stars. The specials change and offer some variety with fusion flavors. We live in Atlanta and needed a venue for our son's rehearsal dinner. Planning such an important event long distance is extremely stressful. I spoke to Nita on the phone and she was answering my questions before I could even ask them! I knew immediately that I was in good hands. The planning process was very easy with all the options available. Nita went out of her way to make everything flawless. I even borrowed her vases and she took them to HEB to get them filled with flowers! My evening was stress free and I was able to relax and enjoy the evening. First time at Brix Wine Cellars. What an amazing experience! I had a last minute business dinner but did not have a reservation. The staff went above and beyond to find our group a table during a very busy night. We started at the bar while they prepared our table. Alex prepared our cocktails to perfection. We got our table and were moved to one of the rooms in the back. It was a great experience! The server was great and the food/wine was amazing. Nice place, food was decent but the service was lacking. One chandelier was falling out of the ceiling that was obviously noticeable that we pointed out to staff. Table for 16 ( son's college graduation dinner) was moved away from chandelier and placed pretty close to back wall making it a very tight fit to move around. Ok about the service, one waiter for 16 people to serve drinks, appetizers and 3 course meal. Needless to say service was extremely SLOW, when asked about slow drink service ( in my case 20 mins between drinks) waiter seemed a bit put off by my and others questions about drink service ,said that the tickets had been put in and there was a back up of 40 drinks at the bar. Food was barely warm by the time everyone was properly served, remember one guy. Once in awhile someone else would pop in to help but barely. Nita (the owner) was nice but somewhat difficult to get ahold of, seems she was away visiting relatives for the holiday. When contacted she told me that the party was scheduled to have 2 servers but that 3 of the staff had medical emergencies that night so we got one, fair enough I guess but seemed indifferent to my plight and said that waiter does party's that big or bigger by himself all the time. If true I would have to say his game needs improvement. I still tipped him $100 over the contracted tip price. Soooooo anyway sometimes things go well and sometimes not so well. Last week I went in with 4 people and was told I CANT sit at the bar in the four open seats.., two were tied wit ribbon.. ok.. noted! Today I arrive at the same place with the SAME four open car stools two tied with ribbon and was told THOSE are reserved for parties of FOUR! WTF! This is the way you treat good customers who are in there multiple times a week.. I'm done with BRIX and there temperamental policies that seem to change froM day to day at a whim. Our waitress for our private party was Kailey & she was amazing! She was on top of everything the whole night always wearing a smile.
