I went to this salon. Natalie cut my hair. My first visit was great ($145.00) My second visit was terrible! She had her head in her wedding planning and not my hair cut. She gave me the worst cut I have ever had and I am 73 ,another ($145.00) What happened there was uncalled for and mean. She wouldn`t re-cut my hair after I waited 2+1/2 months for it to grow out enough for her to fix and re-cut my hair and canceled my appointment on Sunday 3:30 A.M.. I called this salon regarding hand-tied extensions on a day they were closed. Annie called me back the very next day and let me know that unfortunately, they did not do hand tied weft hair extensions. Annie went ahead and let me know that they had a very good referral to another salon who did hand tied weft extensions that she would highly recommend. I asked if there was any connection with her salon and this salon and she said no. Annie said she went ahead and passed on my information to the person she recommended and that she would be expecting my call. I will be taking my daughters to your salon based off of the excellent customer service. This is obviously a business who cares about people in general not just customers who want to come into their salon. I am extremely impressed and overwhelmed at the fact that she would go above and beyond just to make sure I was taken care of when I would not be going to her salon. I do not recommend this place for hair. The first time I got my hair done here I had to return because the tone was completely off. It looked very yellow. The gal that did my hair was very sweet so I thought I would give her another chance, I had to drive one hour to get my hair fixed and it looks good after the second try. I went back the second time thinking she had the hang of it and I ended up looking like a cheetah. My hair is splotchy and it looks like the roots have already grown in for two months. I posted about my awful bangs that were shorter and not cut well. And my uneven hair. The hair cut was $90 I believe. I went back and saw someone my family trusts and she even said herself that she will fix it. Just thought her messaging me was unprofessional and not someone I would recommend to do hair. I've had the same amazing hairdresser, Jaclyn, for over 10yrs. She has been at BRIX for a few of those years now and I am always pleased with the salon overall. Everyone is kind, they're very particular about their quality - both in service and products offered. Each person leaving their stylist's chair looks lovely! I have curly hair, and a lot of it. I get a full color at each visit, with cuts as needed. Prices are clearly posted, and in line with industry standards. When getting blow outs, or styling done for work events, I get compliments on my color and technique used. You know it's good when others admire the craft! I would recommend Jaclyn to anyone seeking highlights, color treatment, new hairstyle or maintenance of an existing one. BRIX is wonderful, and although I haven't used their other services would recommend anyone to try them based on their desire to deliver great service and experience to all. When I arrived, the stylist first spent several minutes trying to interest me in buying product. There was no mention of how much my service would cost or how long the color process was. She did seem to enjoy lecturing me about my hair and what I needed to do differently to care for it. I just bit my tongue and let her ramble on. After the stylist added color, she said she had to wash the color bowl and would come back to check on me. That never happened. She did a really bad job rinsing my hair. Water got in my ears and down the back of my shirt. I politely asked for an extra towel but she said she would use the blow dryer instead. I honestly didn't even feel that the normal tip was deserved but gave one anyways. Overall, I thought the stylist had a bad attitude and would not recommend. Especially for the price I paid. I needed a hair trim badly and found the Brix Salon from Yelp. I knew their prices are a little bit higher than normal, but I went in and got my hair done by Kelli Britt. It's worth every penny! They have great hospitality, which me being an Event Planner is very important. I was greeted immediately and everyone was very nice. Kelli was great to chat with. She did a fantastic job trimming my dead ends while styling my hair so it doesn't look so flat. She has 30+ years of experience and has been serving Auburn the whole time. I highly recommend her or even any of the other stylists. They all seem great. My hair trim and style was $65. I think next time I will color my hair with some highlights. For the 4th of July holiday celebrations I wanted to get a pedicure. I have been to BRIX The Salon before, but it had been a few years. My previous experiences were good so I decided to try them again. I had the great fortune of booking "Sarah" to do my pedicure. I booked the Spa Pedicure and it was worth every penny. Best pedicure I have had in a long time! The pedicure experience itself was relaxing. Especially loved the massage. The paraffin treatment left my feet so very, very soft! Sarah took her time with my feet, no rush and she provided great attention to detail. An added bonus is Sarah is a pleasure to converse with. I requested "nail art" for a little something extra. Sarah painted the cutest U.S. Flag on each of my big toes. They came out fantastic! They also lasted and extraordinary long time. The toenail art did not chip or wear-off. It's actually growing out, and still looks presentable. This is two months AFTER the appointment. (I did redo all of the other toenails to refresh). I have received numerous compliments on my feet, including one yesterday at the grocery store! I went to Brix for the first time today. The salon is beautiful and sophisticated with a rustic chic vibe. I started my visit off with a complimentary cold iced tea (perfect after such a hot day!) Libby cut my hair and began by taking me back for a wash. It was one of the most relaxing and soothing hair washes I've had! After giving Libby the low-down on the cut I wanted she listened carefully and then executed it PERFECTLY! I have VERY long VERY thick hair. I am known for my long, thick, wavy, locks and am always nervous when I go in to get a haircut. Almost every person that has cut my hair has said it was the thickest hair they've ever worked with. I am extremely particular about my haircuts, and after having many bad ones in the past, I have very specific instructions for those that cut it now. Libby listened very closely, and was understanding of my long hair attachment. She was careful to show me visually how much she anticipated cutting off, and was sure to talk me through the process. She let me know what she was doing as she did it, and ended up cutting my hair EXACTLY as I had envisioned. She gave me great layers, made my hair look healthy, and lightened up the weight a bit. She took the time to go over every detail and styled it beautifully. This was the FIRST time someone did something other than blow out my hair when they were done cutting it. She took the time to give me beautiful beach waves after I told her my finace loves that look.
