Place is fantastic, it's a strip mall no frill burrito and taco spot in St Louis Park border. You walk the line, they cook your tortilla fresh and then pick your toppings. Carne Asada and Carnitas were delicious and the toppings were what I would expect from a good Mexican eatery. Just a few tables so most of the order are to go but the staff is cool and the food is good!!!! Grab a burrito and enjoy

Better Ingredients.. Better Pi... wait a second wrong cuisine but you get where I'm running with this. Brito's Burrito is an amazing place full stop. There's a certain pepper fast casual national chain that comes to mind when comparing the 2, but one of them is clearly a better option to pick up dinner. To start, the parking is plentiful at Texatonka, and there's seating available if you want to eat on site. When you enter the restaurant you see the options available to you before you order at the back. I always get the burrito, the fresh tortilla is a warm soft pillow that is made right in front of you; from the press to the griddle. All the other accoutrements are fabulous to select what goes inside. There's 3 rice choices: Mexican, White, and Brown. And if you're not adventurous to try carnitas or barbacoa, taco meat and chicken are available as well. Multiple salsas and then cilantro, onion, and lime combo if you want a standard taco topping. You're able to mix and match with quality. The food tastes clean, if you get where I'm going. A superior affordable fast casual option in Hopkins.

Wow, what a gem of a spot! We were starving after a late- night kickball game and Brito's was one of the few casual spots still open. My partner had been a few times before and loves it so I was excited to check it out! The FIRST thing I noticed as we walked in - 15 minutes before closing, no less - was the beaming smile on what seemed to be the manager's (or Brito himself?!) face. I felt bad coming in so late but he greeted us so warmly. My partner gave me fair warning that the portions are heavy despite the affordable prices, and he wasn't wrong. He got the biggest steak burrito I've ever laid eyes on, and my carnitas nachos were piled high! They provide plentiful toppings options - similar to Chipotle's lineup but with more and fresher options. We're talking fresh diced jalepeno, fresh cilantro, and fresh squeezed lime! For the Nachos I wished the queso was a bit thicker but everything else was spot on. There is a bit of indoor and outdoor seating but I'd guess most folks are taking out here like we did. For the price of what you'd pay at Chipotle, you can eat at Britos and get more, fresher quality food + memorable smiling service and support local!

Employees busy talking with each other than helping customers. Just standing and waiting for a bland burrito that's 99% rice.

The HH is cheap, the margs are STRONG, and the location is great! SPACE It's a huge space, with a large patio out front, bar/bar lounge inside on one side, and booths/tables on the other side. Note that happy hour is only on the bar/bar lounge, and bar lounge patio area. HAPPY HOUR 3-6pm Weekdays happy hour! OTHER FAVES My husband lovessss their corn rice that comes as a side, so he usually orders a three steak taco meal. It comes with rice and beans and is filling without being massive. The chips and salsa that came out were pretty good (I say that as a Californian with major opinions on good tortilla chips). Two of my companions ordered the elote appetizer, but saucers were never brought out. That made for pretty messy eating at our table, though we tried to clean up as best we could. I ordered three avocado tacos on corn tortillas. They were really good with a great mix of flavors and textures. The avocados pieces had a thin, crisp crust, the interior soft and perfectly ripe. So good! The beans were pretty standard, but I really liked the small scoop of sweet rice. It was like a touch of dessert to freshen my mouth at the end. Our server apparently misunderstood our request for splitting the checks, as my bill was lumped in with a companion's, but I just paid him in cash to reimburse him so we could head on out. Even with the hiccups, I'd come here again. The staff was pleasant and the food was great (and good Mexican food is not something to take for granted in Minnesota).

There's a kiosk inside to order from if you didnt preorder. My brother and I got two orders of the birria eggrolls with mild and medium sauce. I also ordered a couple street tacos with hot sauce, Al pastor and asada. My brother loved the egg rolls. I enjoyed them but found the wrap a bit heavy. The consommé was also a bit bland. My tacos were freakin amazing. I def will come back for more tacos soon! Flavors on point and they are overfilled with meat and toppings. Def a great value. The abundance of meat was spilling out w each bite. The hot sauce is a very hot orange/red hued sauce. I would say I have a mid level spice tolerance, it used to be higher but I think it's safe to say that the hot is a lot more intense than typical MN heat. If you're a pro w Mexican food truck hot sauces than you'll probably love this one. The medium sauce is like an avocado based verde sauce. That was my fave! And the mild is a true mild tomatillo salsa. Can't wait to try more tacos and maybe even the birria ramen!

I am updating the review because Pajarito delivered the experience I knew they would and exceeded expectations. See my previous review (chips are great, proteins are great, drinks are great) and all that stands. The additional details here are: they brought us a celebratory split champagne, dessert of choice on the house (the bunuelos were actually super good and I would get them again-- had no idea just how warm, light, sweet, yet dense a donut could be), and a aperatif (a fruity post-dinner mini shot/drink). Not to mention, the host was quick to say "congrats" (I had let them know of the occasion ahead of time). As well, they were happy to reserve an ideal seat of choice for us with advanced notice. Overall, such a great dinner and great service, which is what I was hoping for for this once-in-a-lifetime milestone celebration. Pajarito delivered. Thanks!
