I'm super happy to have met Gail because now for the first time I enjoy the company of the most beautiful and well behaved cat there is. My boy Bebop is very healthy and playful. If you are looking for a healthy and happy kittens rest assured that you are in good hands with Gail.

When we adopted our cat from British Dynasty my mom and I were so impressed and appreciative of how well our cat had been socialized. The effort Galina had made with our cat (Darkness) is evident in almost every interaction. Darkness is so gentle, and great about being handled/groomed even when she isn't happy about it. At her first vet check, everyone remarked about how beautiful, healthy, and well behaved she was. They could tell she came from a place where she was very well cared for. We also really appreciated how knowledgeable Galina was about the breed and the info she shared about the importance of diet. I left feeling really good about the experience and tell everyone I know about the info I learned from British Dynasty. Story time: We got Darkness at the beginning of the pandemic after the loss of two family members. At the same time a close friend experienced a similar loss and similarly adopted two kittens, but through a backyard breeder. Within a few months they lost one kitten due to a genetic heart defect (one that is British Dynasty and other reputable breeders routinely screen for). When they were able to get another kitten, it also passed within weeks from FIP contracted before they got him. Her experience has really made me appreciate what a positive difference adopting from a reputable can make. In the two years since, everyday (this will sound cheesy but it's true) I'm grateful I was able to get my cat from British Dynasty. From adoption to now, this has been my best experience with a pet ever. Darkness is such a character, and smart. She's independent and pretends to do her own thing, 9/10 she's laying nearby me just out of sight. Even the people in my life who were indifferent to cats have come to love her Thank you so much for all your care and hard work!

Lina emailed me after a week of silence. I thought we were just going to leave the situation alone, since I did not end up buying a kitten from her. This email came out of nowhere. She called me a "little girl" and was very condescending towards me, saying she knows so much more than I do and just because of my education (I work in the veterinary field) doesn't mean that I know anything about the "right way" to buy a cat. This was very offensive, not only to me but for all the animals and people she has hurt. Other reviewers have said their kittens ended up having ring worm and one has died. None of these things are the buyers fault, but Lina's fault. She is the one who is not doing things the "right way." British Dynasty/Lina G needs to be shut down.

I got my cat from Lina a couple of months ago. He was perfectly healthy and affectionate as a kitten at Lina's cattery. No ringworm issue for my cat. My cat was at 4 month age (older than the usual age most kitten get reserved ) when I discovered him in Lina's cattery, so I was surprised why nobody wanted to take him home at that time. I've always wanted a chunky tabby British shorthair boy (Lina showed me his parents' photo and both of them are strong and beautiful) After communicating with Lina via email and meeting her in person, I feel she loves and cares about her cats very much. I remember she has a long list of instructions about caring for the kitten and she walked me through all of them in detail when I first met her picking up my cat. Side note: Lina is very straightforward throughout the whole process, which I liked a lot ( I understand English is not her first language and there could be some miscommunication if not paying attention)

I got my Mochi from Lina in May of 2021. Mochi is the best kitten that i could have asked for. He is so cute and sweet. My boyfriend and I truly enjoy his company. The whole process of getting Mochi was smooth and easy. I dont have any complaint there. Lina even gave us advices and some goodies for the kitten.

This cattery is a scam. Do not purchase from them. They mention a lot on their website about scammers, but this is just to deter you from thinking they are a scam. I inquired about one of their kittens, was given no further information or photos of the cat, and was told I wasn't thinking properly when I had requested a video of the cat with todays date written. This is 100% a scam.

I am so happy I found Lina, owner of British Dynasty Cattery. She is passionate about her cats and kittens! I brought home my beautiful sweet chocolate boy a week before Christmas 2021. He adjusted very quickly to our home and our Chihuahua. They are now "besties". Lina is a reputable and honest breeder. Her cats are exquisite with the sweetest temperaments. You get what you pay for and my kitten was worth every penny. I've always adopted pound kitties and taken in strays. This kitten is one the best purchases I've ever made. Thank you Lina!

I bought a male British shorthair from Lina in June. I adore this kitten. I am obsessed with him and so is my husband who isn't really a "cat person" Rupurrrt is so smart and really good with my young children. Just his presence brings me so much joy. He is worth his weight in gold! Here is a picture of him watching me do yard work

My beautiful British Shorthair kitty is from British Dynasty, and she is the sweetest, loveliest cat ever. My family brought her home at the start of the pandemic lockdown, and she has provided endless warmth and entertainment to our household ever since. We don't know how we would have gotten through without her! She is a curious, playful, and trusting feline in excellent health, so I'm confident she was bred and raised with the highest of standards. I'm surprised by other reviews I've read about British Dynasty because my experience with Lina and her kitties has been entirely positive.

I have read through all the other reviews that people have left about this cattery and I totally agree with all the reviews that gave this Lina person a 1 star. I sent her a long email about my family, budget and questions about cats since it would be my first time deciding to buy a cat and so it went smoothly at first and she told me that she had kittens in my price range. So I thought great and asked if I could see some pictures since she didn't have them on her website and she did send them but when i was kindly inquiring about the female about her eye size since it looked a bit odd(size difference) and she replied extremely rudely like i was in shock by how a breeder would talk back like that with a potential new customer. I then emailed her saying that i apologize if i offended her in any way and she just never responded. I am extremely upset with my experience with her and have no clue how some of these people face her 5 star review, my experience with her was not pleasant at all! $2,600 for a kitten with a deformed eye.. no thanks rather pick one up from the streets and give it a good home. UPDATE! Lina is a bit of a stalker haha she not only found my previous work place but also insulted my health. So much for being professional All in all take caution when emailing her. I have blocked her email and number so she cannot harass me anymore.

Lina's response to me after asking for more photos

People get scammed all the time so naturally, as any cautious buyer, I inquired for more pictures of the kitten. Lina's website SAYS to do this. However, Lina's response was less than satisfactory and downright discourteous. Shown in pictures below, she does not practice what she preaches and I have no idea how this cattery made it to TICAs website. This is scammer and backyard breeder behavior. LINA IS SUS! Do not buy from this Cattery!

I'm…read moreposting this to inform others in the community, especially pet owners, about what we experienced during an incredibly difficult time. This is not meant to discredit the clinic as a whole, but to be transparent about an interaction that had a significant emotional impact on us and may be important for others to be aware of. Our family recently brought our cat to Columbia River Veterinary Specialists during one of the most painful moments a pet owner can experience--having to say goodbye. I want to be very clear that the majority of the staff we interacted with were kind, patient, and compassionate. The woman at the front desk treated us with warmth and respect, the staff member we spoke with on the phone beforehand was helpful and understanding, and the veterinarian who ultimately assisted with end-of-life care was gentle, loving, and respectful. He took the time to explain everything clearly and treated both our pet and our family with dignity. Those are exactly the kinds of people you want working in a field that involves end-of-life care and emotional vulnerability. Unfortunately, our initial interaction with one staff member significantly overshadowed the experience. When our family first arrived, the individual who took our cat back (not the person who checked us in) made comments that strongly implied judgment about why our pet had not been brought in sooner. These remarks were delivered in a way that felt accusatory and lacked empathy, especially given that our pet was actively dying and we were already emotionally overwhelmed. Financial limitations are a reality for many families. Being made to feel guilt or shame for not having immediate access to thousands of dollars--at the exact moment we were facing the loss of a beloved pet--was deeply inappropriate and unprofessional. Veterinary professionals are entrusted with not only animal care, but human compassion. This was not the time for assumptions, judgment, or commentary--it was a moment that required empathy, discretion, and support. I'm sharing this because no family should be made to feel judged or shamed while saying goodbye to a pet. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed internally, because the rest of the staff we encountered demonstrated the level of care and compassion that should be standard in situations like this. Our pet deserved peace and dignity in their final moments--and so did our family. I would like to call out Nicole Akerill aswell. She does not deserve to work in a profession like this! Thank you very much.

From the front desk, to the technician, to the veterinarian, they were all so kind, warm and excellent at their jobs. Yes, it's expensive to have a dog need emergency services. You should know that before getting a pet and you should know things are going to inevitably happen. Having a great team ready to take care of your pet the best they can is exactly why I highly recommend bringing your pet here for emergency needs. Thanks Dr. Tegan and staff!

I called around to a few places and no one could get her in on short notice or as an emergency, we called riverside and from the moment Shay picked up the phone the riverside staff were the best people in the world to us. We brought our dog down and they did a quick exam affirming that we already knew it was her time. They gave us plenty of time and space to say goodbye to our best friend and were so unbelievably compassionate. At such a hard moment it was so nice to be surrounded by people who not only obviously cared about our dog but also cared about us and how we were feeling and doing. They made sure we understood all the steps and answered all the questions we had. We truly cannot thank Riverside staff enough for the love and support that was in the exam room that day. We will definitely bring our pets here from now on. Thank you all for the wonderful work you do.

In short, the receptionist was rude to my mom, I called and she was also rude to me, was irritated with my questions, she yelled at me, therefore antagonizing me, and when I called her out on her behavior and asked to speak to a supervisor, she hung up on me. I drove to complain in person, the manager had no way to verify what happened and it was clear to me they lack employee oversight. She apologized for "how I feel" instead of the girl's behavior while mostly correcting me for losing my temper when I was antagonized. Now, I am reading SEVERAL similar reviews about their front desk. It is a shame because I believe their vets are good ones. This place has no clue the effect mean-spirited employees have on their clients. I was calling about a puppy - we are happy customers with no reason to be upset. This should have been an easy one for them. Honestly, if I am going to be stressed out, my dog will be too. PASS!
