I hate to write a bad review but here it goes. I haven't been this mad in such a long time. It took everything in me not to go back up there. I took my white comforter there to be cleaned. Because there were a few stains. Well EVERY stain that was there when I dropped it off was STILL there when I got it back home. I truly couldn't understand what the problem was ! Like how could this be !? So I called. And I waited a day until I was calm. I asked the man if something could be done because I paid over $30 for a service that didn't happen. The man told me I was charged because they "tried" to get the stains out and that they couldn't get the stains out after 2 tries. So I continued to express the fact that my comforter was still stained. IN ADDITION, it smelled like hospital bed sheets. Gross ! I've never been so disappointed in a business and the quality. How do you charge me a WHOLE cost for such a horrible service? And then at the end tell me there's nothing you can do.? Not even a coupon !? Disgusting ! Shouldn't be in business if you can't please your customer. So understand when you go to this business you are charged for their effort, NOT for their service. They've always helped me out especially when I needed a rush job because of an important occassion and plus they're very friendly and remember who their regulars are. They also do tailoring, but I have no prior experience with the tailoring so I can't give you any feedback in that category. So what prompted me to do my review on this place after coming here for more than a year? Well a year or two ago, I went to Deluxe Cleaners in Riverside to have my Kobe Bryant jersey dry cleaned. It was close and cheap since they did student discounts. I got my jersey back and to my mistake, I failed to carefully check to make sure it was okay. A few weeks later, I was ready to wear my jersey to a Lakers game, to find that there was some discoloring in parts of the numbers. WTF!!!!!! (punching things all around me) I was furious and could not believe it! By now, it was too late to make any complaints. I rarely wear that jersey now because it got messed up. It just sits in the closet now. So recently, I needed to get my authentic Troy Polamalu football jersey dry cleaned and was hesitant to do so. Coming to Brite Cleaners as often as I did, I had the confidence and trust for them to take care of my jersey and Steelers cap. I picked up my items today and I was totally impressed! I thoroughly checked the jersey to make sure there was no damage before leaving. Everything looked good and brand new! Brite Cleaners is very professional and their service is impeccable. As I am typing this review, I cant help but NOT like this place. I dropped off my 3 business shirts and 2 slacks for dry cleaning last week and just like Charlie S. said in their review, clothes smell. I dropped off on a Tuesday and the lady said they would be ready on Friday at 5pm. I picked them up, took them home and put them in the closet. I grabbed one of the business shirts put it on then grabbed my coffee and headed out the house. As I was driving, thought maybe I spilled something in the car the night before because there was a faint "dirty laundry water smell", eww! Flipping sux because now I am wearing this all day! If you want your clothes to get that "wet and no dry" smell, bring your clothes here. I dont know how these people stay in business?!?! This was my first and last visit...DONT GOOOOO! I bought a nice suit and dropped it off before wearing it. When I picked up the suit I didn't have time to pull it out and inspect it because I had an important meeting to attend. I literally pulled the blazer out of the plastic wrapping a few short minutes before the meeting was to start and to a very unpleasant and disappointing surprise, my jacket wreaked of dirty laundry water, you know the stench that accumulates if you forget about wet clothes in the dryer? Yes, this suit was brand new! This was very upsetting because I invested good money to use a nice suit and trusted that the cleaners would do their jobs. Plus I had to sit in my meeting without my blazer because I didn't wan the stench in my nose. The next day, I went back to Brite Cleaners, a manager told me that it was "The stench of the chemicals." Come on! I've had plenty of suits dry-cleaned and I've never had this issue. Seems like someone mishandled my nice suit! However, to add to this issue, the manager guy, said he was going to try and steam the stench out! Seriously!?? The stench was in the cloth because of whatever mishandling treatment occured behind the scenes! He then decided to explain to me that there was no refund available because it was just how dry cleaners smell. The manager agreed to pay only 38% of my bill, ultimately I paid $13 to have a brand new suit and shirt that ruined my evening and costed me another $11 to take it to a different place. My husband took his suit here to get it dry cleaned and picked it up like normal assuming all was good. Had to attend a wedding and couldn't figure out why his suit was 2 different blues. Looked again and they gave him THE WRONG COAT. His suit was pricey and they messed up and gave him someone else's coat that was not even the same brand. They blamed my husband because he walked out of the store without checking, which is clearly stated on their policy on the wall? But also saying that "this never happens." Welp, it happened guy.
