I have always had pleasant service from the ladies that work here which is always something I look for in a place to shop. What I like is that I don't HAVE to be a stylist to access decent prices. There is a comparable company close to my home that is only for stylists which is slightly frustrating but just means I spend money elsewhere.

It was located further down from the current location but I always enjoyed seeing what was new, adding to my subscriptions and nerding out with the staff. Eventually I moved away for a while and had to cancel my subs and quit comics altogether to save myself the silly amount of money I was spending on it. That said, while visiting Bellingham, my husband and I popped in with our one year old and it's definitely become a general pop culture store, still focused on comics and a lot more clean and organized than it used to be. I say that with no shade to the previous way it was as that was so charming to me, just that it is more polished now. If I lived in the area, I have no doubt my daughter and I would come to this shop more as she grows up, hopefully enjoying comics like me! Since she's only 1, we just got her some small toys that caught her eye.

This place is a gamer's paradise, not just because it's a game store, but because the ownership are true gamers and know what they want and need. They also price things competitively so you don't have to shop Amazon to get a good deal. They have a used game section, which is a great way to score a like-new game for cheap. One of my favorite things that they do is host a variety of game nights, which is super cool. I've really enjoyed being able to connect with fun people who want to play the same types of games as me.

Nice guy. Not a lot of options on merchandise but it's still awesome that it's a game store.read more

I was in here for a good 8 - 10 mins and there's nobody . Doors were wide open . Finally a lady from another shop in the mall showed up but she had to phone the actual owner for instructions . Despite the snow fall, my fiancé drove out to this store since it was the closest, to quickly grab a pair of falsies for me. The store closes at 6pm and it was only around 5:10pm and the doors were already locked and the lady at the counter was completely ignoring my fiancé as he was knocking. The product was literally right by the entrance and he was ready to pay in debit/credit but after much knocking, the lady finally opened the door only to say "WE'RE CLOSED" three consecutive times at his face. Wow, was that necessary? She could have at least been more considerate and polite. All my fiancé knew was that they close at 6pm (even for New Year's eve hours) and that the doors may just have been shut for some reason. They can't even be bothered to pick up the phone. Until they significantly work on their customer service and manners, or lack thereof, I do NOT recommend this place.
