(yes, two heavily shedding dogs) When i replied in the affirmative, he told me that he *could* come out and take a look at it (and charge me their $85 service fee), but I would be better off getting down on the floor and making sure that all the dog hair was vacuumed out from underneath and see if that fixed the problem before asking him to come out. (this already had my husband saying that we would definitely be calling them for any other repairs...he's all for anyone other than him telling me to clean ;-) and...of course the fact that they didn't want to charge us for something we could do ourselves) I went home that night and put my vacuum cleaner through its paces, and made sure there were no real dust bunnies anywhere underneath. This helped a little bit, but this morning, while i was pulling stuff out of the fridge, i noticed the edges were again boiling hot. I called again this morning, and about 20 minutes after leaving a message, Scott called me back. He started by telling me that they would be there by the end of the day, and then checked his schedule, and realized that his next call was actually on my street, so he said he would be there before lunchtime. I ran home, and by the time I got there, he was already there (someone was there to let him in-They just needed me to pay the man), and he had already pulled the part out and was headed to his truck to get the replacement. He was super personable, and willing to answer questions about another appliance I have that is having issues (the joys of home ownership) while working on the fridge. He was there a little bit over the first 30 minutes included in the service call, but didn't charge me any extra for the time. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough. They are better marketers, have fancy showrooms, etc. But all of that comes with higher prices and more attitude. All of it undeserved in my opinion. I've used R&B twice now and I have found them to be just excellent. Very fair and reasonable prices, very accommodating to work with, and they do excellent quality work (in fact fixing things once and for all that others charged my high prices for but couldn't address completely). They picked up my tractor and dropped it off. They have a great bed side manner and when they give you an estimate of timing to do the work, they do what they say they are going to do. Excellent!
